War in Heaven | Revelation 12

When we think of Jesus dying on the cross we see a meek, and conquered human, at surface level. But we don't see Jesus in the way that this chapter describes him, as a conquerer who defeated Satan at every level. This chapter describes a "great sign" of the child being born who was to rule the world. That child would defeat the dragon and there would be war in heaven as a result, with the dragon being thrown out.
