Wave of strikes against Iran, Forced displacement orders in Lebanon

There has been a wave of strikes across Iran.

Officials say the death toll has risen to 1937.

The international red cross is warning about the targeting of humanitarian aid, as well

as medical infrastructure in the country, including red crescent centres.

In Lebanon, the Israeli army has issued forced displacement orders for people to head north

of the Zahane River.

It means the force of evacuation zone now extends from the Zahane River to the Zahane,

about 40 kilometres north of Israel's border.

Now President Trump has once again criticized NATO members for not supporting the United

States in the Iran War.

We were very disappointed with NATO, because NATO has done absolutely nothing.

And I've always said, 25 years ago, and I was somebody that wasn't a politician, but

I was always involved in politics and I understood politics.

I said 25 years ago that NATO is a paper tiger, but more importantly, that we'll come

to their rescue, but they will never come to ours.

And I want you to remember that we said this.

They didn't come to our rescue.

Now they all want to help when they're annihilated.

The other side is annihilated.

They said, we'd love to send ships.

They actually made a statement, a couple of them, that we want to get involved when the

war is over.

It's supposed to get involved with the war's beginning.

The Secretary General of NATO, Marco Ruta, says he supports Trump's decision to go to

war against Iran.

The price of a barrel of Brent crude oil has crossed the 110 dollar markers, markets

reactive fears of a long disruption in supply from the Middle East.

Shipments through the trade of hormones remain severely limited.

The international energy agency says the current supply shock is more severe than the 1970s

oil crisis, and the Russia-Ukraine gas disruption combined.

Now, this has also been made worse by a powerful tropical cyclone in Western Australia, which

has disrupted production at the country's biggest liquefied natural gas plants.

That's worse than the global supply crisis caused by the Middle East war.

Now Australia did become the world's second largest LNG exporter after Qatar shut down

production this month, and that was, of course, down to Iranian strikes damaging one of

its main facilities.
