I was there when Jay Jones came in as a freshman We considered Jay Jones to be the most moderate Democrat on the other side of the eye He literally he came at a point where the margins were very very thin. I think it was like 51 49 or It's like that and we joked around That he was the 50 second Republican because of how often he would vote with Republicans on on more moderate issues on issues that weren't exactly as as divisive shall we say

36:35And all it took was the BLM railroads riots for all of a sudden in the most moderate guy in there To now fantasize about the death of Todd and Jennifer's children And this is the part that needs to be understood This is not somebody making some sort of random thoughtless comment about children. He doesn't know When when Todd Gilbert took on the speaker ship um one of the One of the things that was so kind of just humanizing about that entire event was um Todd was was up on the dius and he was Giving his speech and we have a tradition in the house of delegates that whoever essentially Um gets the nomination of speaker and the majority party Everybody votes for the speaker and it's a it's kind of this the sign of solidarity And Todd's children were there tons young kids were there and um his youngest was was back with mom at the in the back of the chamber And his his oldest was running around a little bit. He's going a little stir crazy

37:35Which is totally understandable But it was this cute thing because Todd is this big guy right and he's bold and he can look kind of imposing And and there's his little boy running up to go be with dad On the dius and kind of looking at all of us wondering what's going on Running around to both sides of the aisle and everyone just everyone is just kind of noticing that like this is this humanizing moment Where despite all of our differences we all realize that we have families and we really want what's best for them And Jay saw all of that And it didn't matter to him He wasn't just talking about some random kid of some random political figure dying which would have been horrific enough He was talking about kids he knew Um I'm sorry. I'm I I gave up pretending about what this fight was a long time ago Because you know what I didn't create these conditions biny you didn't create these conditions None of us created the conditions Where a sick a critical mass of the left a critical mass of elected democrats

38:40Thought this was acceptable behavior We didn't do that they did it and they did it by dehumanizing us And I stood there for years in the general assembly and I would get up whenever they would play this sort of game And I would get up and I would say you're not my enemy Right you're my fellow Americans we may disagree on what we want But we're both fighting to what we believe are noble ends. 42:59No, I I agree and and one of the big questions going on right now that I think needs to be seriously discussed is Does our system provide the internal mechanisms to be able to deal with internal threats? Yeah, because we we understand what to do with external threats right we there there's there's not a debate about what to do when a country attacks us or bombs us We we kind of intuitively understand what that looks like what happens when the enemy really is within What it what happened really when you really do have a massive subversive element within your own country that wants to destroy it But has citizenship yes What what sort of rights do you extend what sort of rights do you suspend at what point do you make that determination and that's There's not an easy answer to that anybody that tells you there's an easy answer to that is not really thinking it through By the same token doing nothing or pretending that we can continue on as we have is also not an answer Now I will say this I break down things in the three levels There's what I can do as an individual. There's what I can do with my immediate family and community And then there's what I can do with my country

44:00And one of the things that needs to start being re-oriented is what you can do as an individual with your family Because can I tell everyone the good news right if there's one piece of hope that I would love to throw out there right now It's this the left like you said when you talk about death cults the left celebrates killing children They celebrate killing their offspring So there's only there's only one of three ways that they can remain viable in an electoral system They can either have more kids and they won't because kids are either destroying the planet or they stand in the way of their self-actualization Or whatever it is they can't All right, secondly, they can import a population Donald Trump shut that down lickety split We can all be frustrated about the the pace of deportations sure But nobody gets to tell me that Donald Trump didn't prove practically overnight that the federal government had all the resources necessary to shut down a legal immigration into the country And as now severely curtailed legal immigration which also needs to be curtailed So if you can't immigrant if you can't import a population

45:04That the Democrats can convince to immediately go on to welfare And then become dependent or import a population which they started doing after the Hart seller act in 1965 Where they started importing people from countries and cultures That are diametrically opposed to the United States or largely unfamiliar with it in a way to where they don't assimilate You take away that ability for the Democrats to do that once again. They're in a huge amount of trouble because they can't get votes So what's the third thing? What's the third thing that they need? Well, they don't need to have their own kids and they don't need to import them Why because conservatives hand our children off to leftists for their education? Of course, and then we're shocked we're shocked Why can't believe they came home from call I mean I took out a second mortgage to send my kid to college because I wanted him to have a degree from Harvard or UVA or wherever it was And now they hate me Well, maybe you can throw this out there to conservative legislators Maybe we don't need to confiscate the money of hardworking Americans and then hand it over to universities sitting on 15 billion dollar endowments in order to turn our kids in ungrateful Marxists

46:07We don't need to do that from a policy perspective, but as an individual Right, my job is to honor God and what I do and God makes it very clear what my responsibilities are in man By the way, it makes it very clear what they are for women as well So if I do that first and then I get married which I did 19 and 20 my wife and I got married And then we had kids and you know what we did we didn't hand our kids over off to the left for their education We took personal responsibility for that And there's a variety of ways you can do it You don't have to choose the same method I did, but we took responsibility for it You know what I have now I have three kids that would never dream of voting for Marxists I have three kids that would never dream of abandoning their faith And all of them are absolutely excited about getting married having kids and doing the same What does that mean? Like I got bad news for the left here's what it means within two generations I will have influenced Multiple voters just within my own family Why by having kids raising the way God says to raise them educating the way the God says to educate them

47:08And then lifting them up in a way to where they are prepared to be able to do the same Now you show me the liberal couple That is having the three kids that is having sixes I read in a one couple the other day 12 kids I pointed out to the whole audience they said these guys have 12 kids All right 12 kids which means if all of their kids are slackers and only have six kids each What is the voting power of that one family Within 30 years What's the voting power? I need to get My needs met in in the questions that I have but actually if we were to Reflecting god and the glory of god in this situation Then we would turn our attention to the enemies of god not on ourselves not on my need for knowledge But on our need to be evangelizing and to be witnessing and ministering to the people who Are are falling prey to these ideologies that are stealing their lives from them I mean the the ideology that that Tyler Robinson fell victim to is has stolen his life from him And it's stolen charlie Kirk's life It's stolen the lives from his family from his brothers You know, it's impacted everyone around him Everyone that he loves and who loves him is also suffering from this and the only way that we fix or repair any of this is if we put our focus

1:08:23Say that maybe we should start signaling that federal dollars should be used to support family units And present parents for their children instead of absentee parents or corporatism or fatherlessness how dare how dare we yeah and conservative ink Is freaking out and calling it socialize on my phone like okay You know It's not socialism It is by definition what the government should be doing which is incentivizing family creation and positive morality and positive behaviors In its people and in securing its people that's the point of a government is to secure its people you secure it You secure people externally through a Military or a border wall you secure people internally by making sure they are spiritually healthy morally healthy and that is having Families in children and a people who are not having families in children They don't believe in themselves and they go extinct And so I think it's like actually the highest order of business that the federal government should be engaging in

I don't understand that Give you an opportunity to sound off on this on this policy perspective on it Hmm I work for the first year of our oldest daughter's life full-time in a high-level director position consulting for the VA and That was horrible being a stay at home mom is Is fulfilling in a way that is indescribable if you really pour yourself into it And I think it is the desire 73 so 23% of moms do you say at home 50% of moms in the workforce would like to be at home if they could if they were given the opportunity So 73% of women would like to be home with their young children to raise their young children

1:10:28And these policies are directed towards women who are in poverty. Okay, we're not talking about women leaving their girl boss corporate job to You know be able to stay home. We're talking about families who are struggling in poverty and giving them a little bit of a leg up On funds that already exist that are already going to be spent and saying hey actually the highest value of your time and your life and The work that you can do is not getting back to work and doing extra job training and that's how the policies written right now These funds are only to get you back into the workforce is saying actually the work that you do at home That is work and you are part of the workforce. Maybe you're not contributing to the GDP But you are contributing to our society and the fabric of our society and the formation of families and making sure that we have cohesive family units that are strong Members of society who are are equipped to take on their role as the next leaders That's work and that's worthy of being recognized as work

1:11:31And it is an acceptable use of our funds that we are already going to spend to ensure that you have what you need As somebody who's struggling on the poverty line to be able to stay at home to be able to make that choice for your family Because being a state home mom shouldn't be an option only for the privileged It should be an option that is available to anyone who wants to take advantage of that and I will tell you as a stay at home mom it is It is the best Highest use of my time. I have had a very successful career And man if I could go back I would I would I would have left my career. I would have never worked the first year of our our oldest daughter's life I would have poured every single bit of my energy and attention into her from the first moment she was born I wish I had known what I know now But it is time that the federal government from from the highest office in the land says this work matters You matter as a mother and you being able to raise your children is an important part of our overall economy
