Before we had AT&T Business Wireless coverage, our delivery GPS wasn't the most reliable. Once our driver had to do a 14-point turn to get back on route, a 14-point turn, an influence or even live stream the whole thing. Not good for business.
With AT&T Business Wireless, routes are updating on the fly and deliveries are on time. The influence of that gets us 53 new followers though.
AT&T Business Wireless, connecting changes everything.
Yeah, it's starting early, so what?
Soon we are going to be talking about a lot today on the show.
Spider-Man, brand new day, people can say where's the trailer? Where's the trailer? Where's the trailer?
We've got some plans, potentially.
We've got some casting news, some Star Wars news. Mandalorian Grogu did their empire cover that they normally do.
Dave Floney talks about a different era of Star Wars coming in. Speaking of Star Wars, tomorrow more is talking about that.
Boba Fett has been put on the shelf by Lucasome for now. I think anybody was surprised by that one.
That one. It's me and Chris Carr today on this special edition of The Cristiano Show on Friday.
So thanks for being here. Let's get into it.
Muster!
Yeah, I know. Did you shit now?
Welcome back to the show, ladies and gentlemen. It is Friday.
And we are going to a little bit of a hybrid of the comic book and regular stories today on The Cristiano Show.
And joining me every Friday here today is Chris Carr. Hello, Chris. How are you?
I'm doing great. How are you doing?
Good. We are without Winston A. Marshall today, as he will be back next week.
Um, he's off to get some stuff that he shouldn't say. He's off. He's doing some work stuff. He just couldn't be with us today.
So we are on a special time. Normally we're on it, um, you know, two hours earlier, but I asked Chris if she was able to move back a little bit.
She said she was thankfully. I was shooting, you know, I forgot. You're a game with someone's person, yes?
Yeah. So I was watching where Sam and I are just like firing through it right now as she's has not seen it.
We she went through such a range of emotions when you want to give spoiler for people who haven't seen Game of Thrones.
So you've been warned of giving spoilers to Game of Thrones. So come back later if you haven't seen it.
Okay, you've been warned. So last night we shot four episodes and we ended with season five episode 10 where Jon Snow gets killed, you know.
It's our favorite character. So she was miserable and mourning as she left here last night texting me about it the whole way through her kid had to give her a hug about it.
She was so, um, she was so distraught about it. And like she came in this morning. She's like, I'm still, I'm still in mourning. I don't know if I can do this. So she came in this morning to do it. And I said, look, I'm going to tell you this. I don't know.
Um, how you guys were getting through this. You know, I think we were scheduled to do two episodes. I think we're going to probably do more than two today.
And she's like, all right, we'll see.
We start watching it and right away they start on his carcass in the first episode. She's losing it. She's crying more than that. She did at the end of the fifth.
And then, um, by the time he gets resurrected, she was like, as I said the other day, hooting and hollering.
And, um, and by, and we got to, we have the three episodes already into season six episode three already.
So, you know, we're flying through it. So we're going to, I think we'll probably be done with the series within the next two or three weeks.
Um, I mean, they'll probably air out until late April. But we're going to, I think that the plan, what I'm going to try to do is we're going to record those.
Then I think we're going to jump into a few of the DC EU movies, some of the Snyder version movies. I think we're going to do some of those.
And then I think we're going to go, um, I'm going to, I think I am going to go through and or with her.
Okay.
I think, and this is what I said, this, this is how her Star Wars journey is going to be because she's never seen us Star Wars.
So, I think I'm going to go and or season one and two to Rogue one to original to episode four and then five and then jump into one, two, three.
Then do Jedi and then do Mandalorian season one, two, three and then do Mandalorian and Grogo with her.
That's awesome.
And for anybody who's saying you shouldn't do that, I know my friend, you don't.
So if you want her to to be into Star Wars, trust me.
If I start with episode four and five, she's going to want to bail, she won't be interested.
If you don't think that that's the right way, then I suggest to you do not watch it because that's how we're doing it.
So as they, as my grandmother used to say, each shit.
All right. So what?
That's cross that she has home.
Beautiful.
She did.
So anyway, how are you?
Doing great, busy over here. We're producing 12 demos this month at my voiceover company.
So we're doing a lot of stuff with actors, which is really, really great and really, really fun.
And that's, that's awesome.
Well, you guys are so good at what you do.
So I'm glad that that's that's going down.
And today, it's me and you.
You're going to try to take out Mike Kellenowski.
Okay.
Mike Kellenowski is currently at 119.
So Mike did, but Mike, Mike went with the sympathy vote yesterday.
And he did, he pulled, he pulled kind of a fast one, but he was smart about it.
And I think you'll appreciate how he did it because Roxy was in the lead.
And then I don't know if you saw any of the interview that we did with the adult actress Penny Barber from
this past Wednesday that she was on.
Mike was tongue-tight. Mike couldn't speak one on the interview.
Yeah.
He was, he was starstruck.
And it was incredible to watch.
So the audience was calling him out about it and giving him some more, you know,
giving him a couple of questions here and there.
A little bit of sympathy vote.
But then he did the smart thing.
And he said that Shannon, his girlfriend had not seen the interview and doesn't know about the interview.
And he said, I'll tell you what, if we get to 100 Superdits, Christian can call her and tell her about the interview.
So we got to, we got to 100 and I told her, and so yeah, it was a sneaky move, but he did it.
That's well done.
It was well done.
Yeah.
She handled it exactly how we thought she was, she was laughing about it the whole way.
Good.
Okay.
So that's what we got to beat today.
Got to beat 119.
I think you can do it.
And we have some great stories to try to do that with.
So let's get to the first one.
Chris, the key.
We keep talking about brand new day.
It's going to be one of the biggest movies.
I was talking to about this.
Oh,
a fellow critic in New York.
This branded evening.
He's a really,
I really like him.
He's a nice guy.
Really nice guy.
He's always.
For me, I'm always about like people who will go out of the way, make sure they say a load
of someone else.
You know, it's like people in, especially in our business, do this stupid thing with this
thing.
The.
No, it's like you're a movie critic.
You know, who would say a lot of people.
Yeah.
And this is this guy brand.
This guy brand is very nice.
Goes out of his way to sell a load of people.
Every single time I see him have a conversation with him.
When we were talking about brand new day.
And we're going to rebox harvest predictions.
And he doesn't think it's going to hit a billion.
I thoroughly disagree with that.
I think it's going to be a huge.
Yeah.
People are excited for this one.
So I.
But the question, where's the trailer?
We even talked.
Right.
Right.
Haven't even.
Haven't even had nothing to do with the trailer.
So.
Here's the news.
Some news.
Is there news?
Well, Spider-Man brand new day.
Is.
Do we get some trailer plans?
Well, here's the article by Darker eyes.
Sony pictures held off releasing any trailers or stills
from 2021.
Spider-Man no way home until late August.
At the covid delayed 2021 cinema con around three and a half
months before the film's release.
If they follow the same pattern, then the upcoming Spider-Man brand
new day will release its teaser trailer in early to mid-April.
However, a new report at trailer track suggested this studio is
currently considering two different options.
First is that the clip will play in cinemas with Project
Hill Mary, which Sony is releasing internationally starting
on March 20th with an online drop the following week that
happens.
The bootlegs will almost certainly leak online before the
official release.
Yeah, it also claims that another option is for Sony to follow
the no way home playbook and wait until the cinema con
panel on Monday, April 13th.
The trailer would be unveiled both to the audience and online
while attendees at the event would get some more exclusive
footage.
Report comes as several other scooper suggested going online
any day now before the Project Hill Mary release.
Spider-Man is said on July 31st.
Chris, you hear this report here of when it could hit.
Could it be cinema con?
Could it, were you at the cinema con in 2020?
I think 2021 was the first year I went.
So you did go to 2021.
I think so.
Okay.
I've only been to two.
And that that was enough for me.
It's a lot.
I got accepted again this year and it's probably another
year.
I get accepted every year and I just can't make the trip, especially
when you know it's funny.
I was getting accepted to it when I was in L.A.
I mean, yeah, I was in L.A.
And I was like, I went one day.
I went for the flash thing.
And I was like, you know what?
I'm going to cover it next year.
And then I move.
And I'm like, well, it's hard to get back and forth there.
So I potentially, I might send Winston because I got Winston
a badge too.
So hopefully Winston, we're going to talk about it.
Yeah.
We'll see.
But either way, they may do this.
They may do a trailer before Hail Mary or put it online beforehand.
They might do that silly thing that you know that I hate about putting
in the theaters first and releasing it a week later.
A, what do you think is going to happen?
B, what do you think should happen?
I think cinema con definitely is the way to go.
Just because that is where we're courting the actual theaters.
Getting the number of screens that we want for a film, right?
So it makes sense to have it there to kind of not quite bend the
need to the movie owner movie theater owners, but still to let them know.
Theater is our priority.
This is where we like our movies to be.
We love hanging these super heroes on a big screen.
And for Spider-Man, you know that they want to have as many screens as possible.
And it's something that people are rabid for.
So I feel like them doing a cinema.
Cinema con presentation is the way to go.
The Hail Mary thing, Project Hill Mary, I know you hate how they do this.
But it's also one of those things though that does get people into theaters.
Yes, they're absolutely going to bootleg it.
But people are still going to watch the bootleg version.
And then the actual non fuzzy version of this, the non Blair Witch camera version.
So it's going to get a whole bunch of views regardless.
I like the theory of getting some people into theaters though, just to see a trailer.
I think that is fun and rare in these days.
You know, we don't have the the Star Wars prequel Meet Joe Black situation happening anymore because of the internet.
But cinema con makes the most sense to me.
Put it out there.
They do a great job of making sure things don't leak from there aside from actual press coverage.
And they are militant about getting those phones down.
Someone will just open their phone to check a time.
You see a laser pop down in theater and they get kicked out.
But that's the way I think they're going to go about it.
Is let's woo those theater owners first.
Then let's hit all the fans.
I think you're probably right.
And I think that it might be the way to go because I mean, I had a couple different thoughts on where it's.
The movie comes out of the end of July.
Cinema con is in the beginning of April, which is essentially just just around four months out.
You look at it, like just a little less for months out.
So there's still significant amount of time to put out a trailer to get hyped for it.
So it was like, you know, if it was in like late April or May with a movie come out in July.
I'm like, you're not really building this thing up here, but about a four month window is still enough time to build the hype around.
Then it is Spider-Man.
You know, so you could do it that way.
But I think that if you do a trailer, it's not a little teaser trailer.
It's a good, you can still call it teaser, but a good two minute trailer to, you know, to really understand what it's about to get the hype going on it and show some extra things to people who are at cinema con.
And as you say, hype up the theaters, hype people up, get people talking about it.
Let it be the talk of that con and this because the stories do come out from that con.
So I think that would be a good idea on the flip side.
I do think having that trailer around Project Hail Mary, which is probably the most hyped movie of the year thus far.
I don't know if you got a chance to see it yet.
I think it's great.
It's great.
I think that you'd really like it a lot.
It's a really good movie and I really like the book.
Okay, so if you read the book, yeah, so it's it's a really good movie and it's and I would highly recommend.
Excuse me.
And how they recommend that you see it in iMacs.
There are some movies that it's fun to see in iMacs and I was able to experience it in iMacs.
I think this is a necessity to see it in iMacs.
And I think that promoting Spider-Man before it would be a good thing to movie goers to get them.
Oh, they make them aware of it real quick as they're going to see this movie.
I still am on the other side of it with I still think it's a bad idea when it comes to releasing it first before the internet because I don't disagree with you.
The people are going to watch it regardless and because of that argument, I say if they're going to watch it regardless, just put it online first.
Who cares? Because I don't think we're living back in that time where people are just buying tickets to go see the trailer.
If they know the spider, well, you know what I wasn't going to see it.
But now I wasn't going to see Project Hill Mary, but now that they're playing Spider-Man before I'll go see that movie now.
I said two hours and 45 minutes or I'll just spend, you know, 15 bucks just to watch a trailer that I could watch online.
You say let's credit.
Yeah, that's true. It's an a list credit too.
But I mean, I think that I don't know. I just don't think it has that kind of power that it used to because I had a different idea of what I thought the Avengers doomsday.
I thought they did doomsday right because I thought that if they did, I thought doomsday is what was actually like trailers, little marketing aware pieces like they did.
You know, just like, oh, this person's going to mean it didn't really get anything from that and it's basically just to hype up the movie.
That that was fine because I know our initial argument or organizations, the argument initial disagreement was basically this same thing.
I just thought it was a trailer, you know, but cinema con does seem to make the most sense.
What do you think they'll show you think they'll show like a big trailer or you think they'll show like a little, you know, teaser.
I think I mean, what's most likely is it will be like a proper trailer in a perfect world.
And I think the stuff that's really cool about cinema con and to be clear to what I don't like is going and then immediately going to cover what I just saw.
I hate that running back and forth. That's what I don't like about it. The thing itself is great.
What I think is really cool is when they give you that nice like sneak peek when they give you a scene.
And that is what I really hope they deliver for people. The trailer is much more likely.
But if they gave just a nice little like five minute glimpse into what is happening where Peter's at.
How his kind of more street level spider man secret identity life is going.
I think that's the stuff that gets us a bit more foaming at the mouth than just the trailer.
So that's what I hope they get.
I think that they'll probably get that and I think that you got to get the Hulk and Punisher.
I think he got it. I think he got it because where this is the conversation.
I'm brand and it was he's like, I just don't know if there's the same type of hype that you can build and market.
I go, you got Spidey coming back and spider man. That's why I go, then you got the Hulk and rage Hulk and you got the Punisher.
Yeah.
That alone, I think you see them and the trailer together, the three of them.
And I think the fact that those two are hunting the Hulk, I mean, that's pretty great.
And you'll probably see Sadie sink.
And I don't know if you're going to see who she is.
You think they're going to reveal who she is in the trailer? Probably not.
No, I think that's going to be in theater.
Yeah, people start speculating as far as what, you know, who she is from her look.
Yeah.
Exactly. If we see her with anything other than red hair, everyone's going to lose their mind.
So, and it would, and she'll be in it'll be every screenshot.
What is she wearing?
Yeah.
100%.
And then there is, and oh, yeah.
And then I don't think you'll see Flora's pure. Maybe you will. We know she's in it.
So, yeah, I think it's going to be, I do think there is something though on the flip side to putting it out online next week.
We are only four months out from it.
I think it's going to be a massive movie.
I mean, I think it's going to be one of the biggest movies of the year.
If it wasn't for Doomsday, it would be the biggest movie of the year.
Yeah.
Yeah, I think it's going to, it's going to cross the 1.4 1.5 billion.
Oh, easily.
Yeah.
This is, this is Marvel that tracks.
Yeah.
You know, I know, I know Winston and I are a little bit on a different page here.
I've just like, we're not, we're not super feeling Doomsday.
We're, we're getting there.
But Spider-Man is something that I have not lost faith in along the way.
I have really, really enjoyed him.
It helps that that is also my guy.
I love Spider-Man.
He is one of my favorite comic book characters of all time.
But these movies just also have always delivered for me.
And we are in such a place where this also feels like an event,
which is kind of wild after what they did for no way home.
Having all the Spider-Man come together.
This still feels like it just has so much momentum that I think it's got a clear big at the box office.
All stars are all stars.
And it's like you look at, you know, depending on the rainbow rock,
they have, they have audiences, right?
And it's clearly not as big as the Spider-Man.
It's not as big as Avengers, but the audience,
if you give them enough of a break, they're going to be curious.
And then if you get the casuals to come back to,
you're going to, you're going to have a hit on your hands, right?
So you look at Spider-Man as Spider-Man.
And they have, and one of the fatigue stuff of the other things too
is a lot of these characters that have been out there in a lot of these movies,
whether they're good or not, Thunderbolts, other things.
The casual fans aren't aware of, I don't know what that is.
The Thunderbolts, I don't know what that is.
And no clue, I don't know who these people are.
It's a good movie.
And the only kind of movie Spider-Man is coming out.
Oh, I guess he's Spider-Man.
And that's the same reason why I had that just belief
that people are going to do the same thing when they talk about Doomsday.
Because Doomsday is going to be end-game sequel.
They're going to, there's no, no mistake about it.
It's not a coincidence that that movie is re-releasing a month before that comes out.
And because apparently the rumor is that they're adding a new cutscene
to the end of this cut of Doomsday.
Okay.
There's a rumor, I don't know how true that is.
But the rumor is that they're adding a cutscene to end-game
that plays into Doomsday, which would make sense.
Yeah.
Because there's no cutscene in Doomsday, I mean, end-game,
because you didn't need one.
Because you're done.
Because it was over.
Yeah.
But if it's not over, and there's a sequel that's coming out,
you can add a new one, especially if the directors.
It's one thing when Lucas is adding stuff to an original cut.
But when you're just adding a new scene to the end of it,
you know, that is a different situation where if, you know,
if a trailer for Spider-Man plays before Project Hill Mary,
I don't know if I'm intrigued to go buy a ticket.
You tell me there's a new scene at the end of Endgame
that plays into Doomsday?
Okay.
I'll go watch Endgame again in the theater to watch that scene.
If that's the case.
Well, I think it's so smart, too, because, right?
And this was the issue that I had of,
I don't feel like we've had the rev up into Doomsday.
That's why I feel like I'm not as excited about that.
I'm going to go see Endgame in theaters again,
because that was one of my best in theater experiences.
I had so much fun with other fans,
just everyone screaming, went on your left app.
Oh, my gosh, everything about it was great.
Yeah.
That I think with the new scene is going to be that last piece of the puzzle
that gets me to go, oh, hell yeah, we're back.
Let's do this.
Right. Right.
And because of that.
I feel like you guys are going to be there,
and I feel like I feel like you're going to jump on the bandwagon
as far as where this movie is going to do financially.
Yeah.
I really do feel like, because you thought I was lunatic
for saying, you know, three or three point one.
The last one, Endgame did 2.8 or two, whatever it was.
And Winston, I wish he was here,
because he was mistaken.
He said that it was re-released like 87 times.
It was released like once.
And it didn't, and it did like, okay, you know,
as far as added some money to it.
But nothing, nothing significant.
The initial run pace basically was 2.7, 2.8.
Something like that.
So it's not, if, if, if end granted,
that was a, you know, a compilation of all this stuff
that came before it leading up to the season finale, if you will.
Yeah.
But we're also at a different time where people are kind of,
I think craving for another great Marvel movie.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Hoping.
I think everyone's rooting for it.
And that's, yeah.
That's really where my concern lies is just because this budget
is so wackadoo that this movie has to perform well.
And I'm really hoping that one, it's a great movie.
I think, I think that's what everyone wants.
I, I think if you go into a comic book movie,
rooting for it to be bad, you're the asshole.
I want any movie I watch to be good,
even if it's actors I don't like, even if it's directors,
I don't like, I'm hoping that they change my mind
and I get to eat crow about what my expectation was.
Right.
This I really, really hope delivers.
And is that return to form of, okay, Marvel has really figured out
we're not doing spaghetti at the wall anymore trying to figure out
what a multiverse is or who works or testing different stuff out.
I'm really hoping that this is that, oh, okay,
we're doing what we do well again.
The roots of brothers being there makes a lot of sense.
This whole team up makes a lot of sense.
It hopefully will do well.
I just still am not quite there on.
It's going to make the money it needs to.
I think you need to, I think you need to see a full trailer as well.
Yeah.
Absolutely.
I'm, I'm definitely buying into the hype train,
but I understand the skeptic side of it for now.
I do, I really do, but I also think that with Spider-Man
right around a corner in these, I'm, I'm so hyped for this.
And more so than I was, maybe even for the other ones.
Yes, we knew that Andrew and Toby were probably going to make an appearance
in when you finally got chance to see them.
It was amazing and it worked out.
But there's something about,
I'm an old school comics guy when I used to,
I used to love watching a, the punisher was one of my fear of comics ever.
And then when the punisher and Spidey would have their crossovers and stuff
and they would be in things together, I was like, always, we haven't seen it yet.
And especially, especially John Bernthal to be able to work with, with him.
And this is, this is going to be, and I want to see how Rachel finally comes back.
Yeah.
How did you explain that?
How did that happen?
Let's get rid of Professor Hulk.
I'm over it.
I like Ruff flow, but I don't want to hear him talking as the Hulk anymore.
It takes me out of it at this point.
I like this for a little bit.
I'm done with it now.
I want to see Hulk smash.
Let's bring that back.
Absolutely.
Right.
They're going to do that, right?
They have to.
I hope so, because like, let's go to our barbecue and a Hawaiian shirt Hulk
is not who I want to survive with over multiple movies.
And that's the whole point is you, you have calm, cool, collected banner,
who also, depending on which comic run you're, you're reading, goes off the deep end
and does, there's some kind of diabolical stuff.
And then Hulk is just pure emotion.
Just everything is exactly right on his sleeve or lack thereof, since he's busted out of him.
But you know what I mean?
I want him to be a raw nerve.
Yeah, I want to say, I can't.
And I hope, and I think that's the reason why they're going after him to find out.
And, um, and this is where I remember talking about this.
We'll get to, we're going to talk about Star Wars a little later.
And we've talked about Star Wars.
We talked about Marvel and DC.
And it's the same thing is that they haven't done it.
And Marvel was doing it for quite a while.
But it's like the three hit syndrome.
If you hit three movies or, and included TV show in that back to back to back,
then it's justified to say, okay, they're, they're, they're back on track and they're moving.
They haven't had that in a while.
Star Wars certainly hasn't had that in a while.
DC is, it doesn't have DCU doesn't have enough there yet to say.
And, um, and Marvel's kind of, well, they're almost there.
We got one.
Oh, then there's the, there's the marvels.
Oh, then there's the thunder.
Didn't do very well.
Then there's fantastic.
Where is it?
It's okay.
It's like, it's nothing.
Nothing's like, boom, boom, boom, where they used to be, right?
Because even if you had back in the day for dark world, sure.
People were like, oh, that movie wasn't that great.
It still made a shit ton of money.
Absolutely.
And it still seemed like Marvel's people still checking out Marvel no matter what they did.
And the next one hit just as much and then or better.
This is the year that they could definitely have the big hits leading in because we'll see how daredevil.
I'm season two.
I liked born again.
Season one.
I think season two has more of a chance because there wasn't any rewrites.
It's just fresh off of this stuff.
It wasn't basically a Frankenstein off of the old thing.
It's a new thing now.
So you lead that, then you're going to have Spider-Man, which is going to destroy.
Well, hell, when do WonderMan come out?
WonderMan, was that was that this year?
Already?
WonderMan was beginning this year, right?
It's January.
WonderMan did pretty well.
So WonderMan.
Yeah.
So WonderMan did well for them.
And it was, and it was good.
So you got WonderMan that critically and pretty modest on the, on the views too.
I think it did really well on the views.
And then you've got daredevil, which could be pretty good, depending on how it does.
And then movie wise, SpiderMan is going to annihilate.
Doomsday is going to annihilate.
And then the next one after that, I think the next movie after that is Secret Wars.
Yeah.
So they're in a, they're in a position right now that come the end of 2027.
And you're like, Marvel's, Marvel's back on track.
Yeah.
You got a shot unless you, unless Doomsday stinks.
And I'm hoping there's not a lot of executive interference in this.
Just because I had a friend who was working at Disney, specifically Marvel,
at the time that like Captain America was happening and all this stuff.
That's an amazing world.
Yes.
Yeah.
And it was just a shit show, which is pretty evident in how that movie came out.
And a lot of that was because of them all yelling at each other.
This needs to be included.
No, we need this.
We have to tie in this.
It was, it was too many cooks in the kitchen.
And I'm hoping Marvel is learning from that with this next stuff because to your point,
they are so poised for such a re a fantastic year of just hit after hit after hit.
So long as they don't try to get too clever, tie in everything and and get.
Now just get a little two people, please see with the scripts they're trying to write.
Because I feel like that's something that's been happening with some of their movies too.
I don't want to isolate too many new people.
I don't want to piss off hardcore fans.
So I'm going to try to make something that is kind of vanilla ultimately.
Right.
They have a hard opinion.
Yeah.
Yeah.
So I think that a little people, please, he is not about that.
I think a dash.
It's a business.
Right.
And hence why they're bringing back some of these characters in the first place and bringing back them in general.
But you got to make it work for the story.
And I think that that's essentially what these movies, all three of them need to be.
Yes, it needs to be good movies with good stories and good characters.
That is really the most important thing in order for us to be interested and want to go back again to go see it.
But really, I think the most important thing is setting up for the future.
Where you would.
And I don't mean story one of like sacrifice the essence of what these movies are.
So you can just.
The way that I am.
Iron Man 2 was like, we're setting up for the Avengers.
I don't mean that.
I mean, you have to make by the time we get the secret wars.
Like make me care about the X-Men coming forward and these other ones because by the time you got to end game.
You were like, oh, OK, that what I served my venture.
Well, there you call of all these new characters are out there.
And we didn't.
So they've got to make sure that by you, you've got to help set it up.
Because they should.
And maybe that's one of the mistakes that they made in end game is trying.
Maybe one of the movies that they were going to make down the line, you know, or even introducing.
Shunchi somehow.
Because she's a good good enough.
But but to me, but then he did, he did a really successful movie.
You haven't seen him since.
Like any of those maybe set them up an end game.
I don't know, but the past is the past.
But the future could be pretty.
Pretty bright from Marvel if they do it.
Right.
We'll see.
What do you guys make of spider man and the idea of the trailer?
Do you think it's going to be at cinema con?
Is it going to be.
Before project Hail Mary is going to hit the internet quick.
What do you think it should be?

Chris, you read 15 currently.
So you got.
Okay.
A little less than a little more than a hundred.
A hundred and four to go.
One hundred and four times.
You know, one hundred and four to tie.
One nineteen.
So one hundred and four times.
But again, we're only we're only 31 minutes in.
I am so sorry that I didn't interview a porn started.
I know.
We're able to log in.
I know.
We got it.
We got it.
We have to think of something else.
I know.
I know.
But.
Let's do.
Let's do this next story because before we get to.
We will talk.
Star Wars probably end the show to talk.
Star Wars, but I.
This casting news is out there.
And I think it's pretty interesting.
So let's read it.
Here's some casting news whether it's Daniel Craig.
This.
And that's that's the one stood out to me the most.
Daniel Craig.
See there.
I think that's probably.
Yeah.
It's from the latest knives out.
Batman part two.
There's a rumor over a giant freaking robot.
Robot reporting that Daniel Craig has been offered.
Hero, when he was on risk of killing.
I wanted to make kids up for murder.
I made a move sometimes.
So I was just endorsing myself Christopher dent in Matt Reaves.
The Batman part two, who's Christopher, that.
Star War.
疊.
There's Christopher.
Christopher must be right.
I don't know.
I don't know the character in Matt Reaves that man part two.
And if he passes, Liam Neeson.
role of the father of Harvey Dent. Yeah. Okay. He's he's in the Arkham games. Oh, okay.
Okay. Well, and probably other Batman stuff. But that's what I was like, Oh, I've seen this guy.
He's in Arkham city. Ah, he was initially offered. Wait, the role was initially offered to Brad Pitt
and then Stell and Scarlett are both actors declining. That's that sucks. Dallas suggested this
rumor was also the one to break the subsequently confirmed casting of Scarlett Johansson as Gilded
Dent in the film. The Rockford files. Um, it's the next one here. Uh, we'll talk about all three of
these, but Oscar nominee Jackie Weaver will join David Bornaz and my Michael, uh,
mechanics in NBC's Rockford files. We would pilot. We replace Carmen, original character and
roffer's long time trailer of Park Nebers. She's a tough outspoken activist and think tank analyst.
Um, okay. Let's see. And then last of tomorrow and tomorrow, tomorrow, Daisy Edgar Jones will
star as a brilliant game designer in the film adaptation of the best selling novel tomorrow and
tomorrow and tomorrow. Uh, see, where did I see this? Okay. There we go. Play by play following
their success with Roadhouse Jake Gyllenhaal is reteaming with Amazon MGM studios on sports pitch
play by play with Chris McCoy going to write story details under wraps. All right. So they're really
the nice to hear the other movies. We'll see as they come out with their about trailers and
other things too, but the excitement to me is, is the idea of Daniel Craig being in Batman.
I don't know if you're going to find a bigger Liam Neeson fan than me. I don't want him in this
movie. It's been in Batman. Yeah. I don't want to see him again. Uh, I'll see him in anything else.
I'll see him play a guy who wants to get revenge because someone stole his twix bar. I'll see him,
I'll see him do that a million times over. I'll see him in 87 different naked gun movies. I thought
he should do another one of those. I don't need him another Batman. He's already been Rasha
Gull, which is like such an iconic role and he does so well in it. It's, this is like when you see
a Marvel actor who's also in a DC movie and you guys just go, do you know other actors?
Can you separate? Right. And can you separate it? Right? Because it's like, yeah. I'm sure you can. He's
that good. But it's like, there are so many other actors out there that could do it. I love the choice
of Daniel Craig. I'm bummed that Brad Pitt said no to this. That would have been amazing.
Maybe you didn't want to play Scrooge or Hanson's father. I don't know. Is that,
is that's the casting rights? Is it, is she plays, she plays the dance sister?
I thought she was going to be his wife. I was, I thought was going into this, but I could be wrong
because she could be his mom and and step in the play. You're probably right. You're probably right.
But either way, Daniel Craig, dance wife. So it's, wait, is Harvey dance wife or is it this guy's
wife? I think Harvey dance wife. I thought she was playing, I thought it was rumored that she was
playing Gilda, who was married to Harvey in the show. So it's his father, so it's her father-in-law.
Okay, whatever. Right? So, um, so yeah, that's another, someone said, exactly. Someone said, um,
Ned Stark. He would have been great. Sean Bean. Sean Bean would be great.
He's playing a shitty alcoholic dad. Oh, he's going to be perfect. Right? I don't, I, again, I hate,
I hate speaking ill of Liam Neeson because I'm not speaking ill of him. I just don't want to see him
in this movie. I don't, I want to see somebody else do a role. And it's like, it's like, yeah,
like you said, it's like, well, we couldn't get him. Who could we get? Well, Liam Neeson. Do it.
It'll be great. And put Liam Neeson. It's like, find somebody else. But I hope Daniel Craig does
it because that would be awesome. The only question is, well, Daniel Craig be okay, not having
the spotlight, trying directly at him because even in those knives out movies, for the first 45
minutes, he's not, he's not really the one that you're looking at. But the second Benoit Blanc shows up,
you don't take your eyes off him. Yeah. So that's not going to be the case for this movie. And maybe
that's what Brad Pitt said. No, I don't know. Maybe one, this might not be a popular opinion. I
kind of, I kind of don't care about Harvey Dent's backstory. You know, I don't, I don't need to know
that Harvey Dent had an alcoholic abusive father so that we unlock this other side of him. Like
the darkness was always in him before the acid splattered him. I understand that. But this,
and I could be wrong about it, right? This was also me talking about the, the transformer's
prequel. I don't care why they fight. This is silly. And that ended up being great. I hate
crow about that. But I do kind of like the idea of Harvey Dent, trying constantly to be this
upstanding member of society, but having some darkness in him, just because like he's a politician,
he does have these greater aspirations, his ego gets the best of him. And that's always been
lurking in there. I understand having like a dad father in these movies because so much of the
Matt Reeve stories seem to revolve around sins of the father. So I can see this as a continuation of
that. But I'm just trying to figure out where he's really, really necessary in, in terms of like
show don't tell. Do I just see Daniel Craig backhand in Sebastian stand a whole bunch and throw
in bottles? You know, I'm trying to figure out why he's needed in this movie. See, I, I share,
I understand the concern, but the only reason it's I'm at a place right now because of the
plan of the Apes movies and the last Batman movie where I'm a trust in Matt Reeves guy,
you know, at this point, just because it's like, okay, he's got that story that he knows how to
fit them in. But he then let me down. I'm okay. I don't care who he puts in there. I just,
I mean, as far as character wise goes, but as far as casting goes, like, it's like,
look, is it going to be like, oh, man, they put Liam Neeson in there. I'll get over it.
But I'm just saying that when it comes to putting some new people in there that could really bring
some, because the problem is, if you put Liam Neeson in there, you're just going to say, well,
Liam Neeson did a really good job in that. In where like you look at Aaron Eckhart when he played
Harvey Dent, you remember him as Harvey Dent. You remember Aaron Eckhart and you remember him
as Harvey Dent, you know, they're a Gary Olman. You do, you do, you do remember him as Commissioner
Gordon. Are you gonna? And look, Liam Neeson, you remember him as Raza Ghul. I just don't know if
you'll remember him as Dent's father. I think you'll remember that he's in the movie. Yeah,
you'll know that you know, but it's like, you know, I don't know. But nonetheless, I hope Daniel
Craig does it. I hope they get him to do it. And if not, I hope they try to get someone else,
but nonetheless, the thing that I'm really happy about, this movie's happened. Yeah.
It's finally happened. And after all these different, you know,
turns and twists and turns, they finally are getting here. I'm excited to see it. So
when, who the hell knows? Um, what do you guys think? You think that, uh, do you disagree
with myself and Chris? Do you think that, hey, if they can get Liam Neeson, get him in there,
put him in there. But do you think Daniel Craig will do it? And do you think that they should have
Harvey Dent's father? Let us know once again, whether it is on the Clips channel, on the replay,
let us know. All right, Chris, you're currently at 18 questions. You got to pick it up.
You got to pick it up. Okay. Is my Kalinowski, anytime my Kalinowski wins, a bird dies. All right,
let's go on. Yeah. Yeah. I don't want that blood on my hands. I know. Well, it's not your fault,
but it's the audience's fault. Okay. I want to get to this Star Wars stuff because
there's two stories, and we need to discuss. And they, they always do the Empire covers for
new Star Wars movies. And so now the cover revealed and now Dave Folloney talks about a different
era of Star Wars. So two new Empire magazine covers put the spotlight on the Mandalorian and
Grilgoo title characters. While Luke, Luke is filmed president, Dave Folloney's behind the scenes
involvement has also been revealed. So I guess that's a case too. Is he like, he's officially the
president now, right? Yes. Okay. When did that officially take place? Has it already been a thing
and they just revealed it? It's been a thing. Yeah. And then yeah. So it's just revealed like,
hey, this is already, this was already a thing. And now it's official when she said that. Okay.
As you first reported, the next issue of Empire Magazine will put the spotlight on the
Mandalorian Grilgoo in a couple of new fun covers taking the same meta-approached promoting the movie
as the device of Super Bowl TV spot. Treating both Din and Grilgoo as real people, the two covers
find them hanging out together on set is that Pedro Pascal and the armor the actor shares the role
with Brendan Wayne, Latif Prouder and Barry Lowen and they're all equally worthy of wearing it.
New Lucasfilm president Dave Folloney is now confirmed as the Mandalorian Grilgoo's co-writer and
second unit director. Are we co-wrote it? You write the script of the story. Talking to the publication,
he said, Episode 7 was a completely different entity. I had dreams of Episode 7 when I came out of
return to the Jedi. You were like, after six comes out, we're a set. We're in a completely
different era of Star Wars now, calling this the big screen follow-up to Mandalorian,
a celebration of the duo. Folloney confirmed that the shift from streaming to theaters will give
the franchise a new feel. What can't you do now? He said acknowledging that spectacle only goes so far.
It's a question of, is the audience going to believe it? Are they going to feel it? That comes
through the characters. If characters are connecting, then the adventure plays, the action plays,
the tension plays. The Scal was also on hand and shared new insights into how the Mandalorian and
Grilgoo picks up with his titular duo after they finally vanquished Moffgidian in the season finale.
Original plans called for this movie to be season four. It only felt like the ending of a particular
chapter says Pedro Piscale. They opened up the opportunity for him to continue his best work as
a bounty hunter, but just working for the good guys, combining skill and morality, whereas when
we, when we meet him first, it's simply skill and best guard and the Mandalorian creed.
Through his relationship to Grilgoo, there is an expansion of his heart and a disarming of his
armor, as so to speak, that leads him to fight for what he knows is right. In the Mandalorian
Grilgoo, the evil empire has fallen and imperial warlords remained scattered throughout the galaxy.
Fletching new republic worked to protect everything the rebellion fought for. They've enlisted the help
of Din and his young apprentice, Broguo. Okay, so let's say anything else here. There's pictures,
okay, they're really playing that out with Grilgoo. It's kind of cool looking. It looks like they
came out of toy, but it still looks good. All right. Yeah. So I think that this doesn't change
in a Bundy's opinion of what I think of of we know it. It's this is basically and essentially
this was the season four that got turned into a movie. And that's why I couldn't understand
people when they were like, I saw a few people as I said, this looks like a Disney Plus movie.
It does. It's what it is. It's a Disney Plus movie. It was a TV show that was turned into a movie.
Does it mean it's not going to do well? Does it mean it's not going to be good? Just means it's,
it was, hey, we don't want to lose money anymore of just turning this into a series. Can you make
it into a movie the way you did for Moana? Yeah, we can do that. Hence why you're getting like a
Clone Wars story, the hut. He now he was kidnapped when he was a kid. Now he's kidnapped as a
cage fighter. His dad wants them to hire him. They go, they're going to try to find him.
Embo's got to go and try to find him. Embo's the new bad guy and they have a big clash at the end.
And it's it's a television show, but he's not wrong following. You have to be engaged in the
character throughout the movie. And can they get that to happen to the casuals who aren't familiar
with the show? So what do you think about that? And what do you think about the stuff that
Floney said? He's saying all the right things. But also, am I going to care about the characters
in the way that Floney cares about the characters? Because a lot of times,
Floney likes to play in his sandbox. And I'm so excited that we were having a lot of these
Clone Wars characters show up. I really geeked out seeing that trailer being like, oh, my friends.
But is it going to make sense? Is it worthwhile for this story? Is it furthering the Mandalorian
and Grogu storyline in a way that is satisfying? Or is this really fun for Dave Floney? And it can
be both. Those aren't mutually exclusive things. I want filmmakers to have fun. And I want
somebody who is as knowledgeable about Star Wars as Dave Floney is to have a lot of power in this
world. I just don't want it to get too, too focused on his own creation inside baseball.
Yeah, exactly. And so that's kind of where I'm at of everything sounds great so far.
I'm hoping that this comes out better than a Moana situation where it did feel like, oh yeah,
you added a bunch of episodes together. But Disney wants it to be Moana too because Moana
too made 1.1 billion dollars. Oh, yeah, it did great. I'm just talking about my own opinions.
I was like, oh, there's no world where that the same thing happens because Moana too is open for
as I said many times over. There was not a lot for kids to see in the theaters. There just is. Yeah.
And so when that came out, especially off a really popular, that was a very smart move by Iger.
And I will say turning this into a movie might be a smart play if they can get their budget back.
As I've said, countless amount of times at this movie, it costs 160 to make. If it
winds up making 350 to 400 million dollars, it's a win. Okay, but I think the biggest win is not
only getting your money back here. The win has to be, do you get the people, though, not the
casual fans? You get the hardcore fans that were disappointed with season three. Do you set up?
Because this is a condensed season four turned into a movie. But can you now turn this movie
into something that gets me excited for four that I want to watch it because they see forever says
he wants to close it out with one more season. Yeah. If this movie doesn't get people excited,
then even the hardcore fans go, okay, I'm done with these two. I don't need to see it anymore.
So you got to really, like, you have to, you have to build it up. But I stick with it. I think that
the movie will wind up making its budget back. It'll do. It'll do. I think so. Yeah.
It'll do enough to say, okay, put that in the bank. Let's make another season of this. Now,
let's just get the starfire. Yeah. And I'm hoping they learned from season three. Because as we've
talked about before, I hate it as much as some other people. I'm more of a, you know, bag of farts.
Right. That's that's my jam. But we've learned that like, hey, stunt casting and Star Wars,
no one really cares. We want to have fun like characters who make sense in this world. So as
much as I love Jack Black, and I wasn't bothered by him being in there, that also was something that
was, this is kind of a weird episode. I don't know why we're doing this. I'm hoping we learned from
that in this movie, too, right? Where it's not doing stuff like that. We have a Star Wars that is
worthy of being on the big screen. And yeah, I mean, I want people who are diehard fans like you
who know like the deep lore to leave that movie feeling excited and wanting more Star Wars.
Because it's been so long since we've had it on the big screen that I really do hope that it's
something that hardcore fans really freak out about. Because I think for casuals, you just have to
be like, there's the Mandalorian and Grogu are you satisfied? Right. And that's the same thing like
the Grogu aspect of it is going to get kids in there. That's that's what they're hoping to do.
Absolutely. He's so chaotic. Yeah, but I remember when I went to celebration,
whatever year it was. I think it was the, I think it was the Chicago era. And they showed the Mandalorian
trailer. And I got that feeling that you're talking about. I was like, Oh, man, that feels like
that feels like the old school kind of Star Wars that I've been looking for like, Oh, man,
look at them walking through there and you see like, you know, and it felt and then when I
watched season one, like I'm excited. So as I mentioned before with Sam, I'm excited to watch
season one and two again. Three for me, the reason I root for the most. And I still say it,
not even only because of this, Katie is, you know, a friend and I and I think that she was the best
part of the entire season three. She was the best part of it. And I think they did her
disservice in ways because there were times that they should have elevated her lore even more
and made and had her said some more than she did. But I thought she was the best part of it.
But it kind of lost its way and it lost its way with celebrity cameos and other things or
whatever it was going to do. It just lost its way. I want to be excited for because I know I'm
more for what you said before the the lore and the other things and being set up for Star Wars again.
I'm more concerned about that with Starfighter. Like that's what that's the way I want to feel
coming out of Starfighter because I just want to be excited for Mandalorian season four when I
leave Mandalorian Grogo. I don't want to go. All right. I've had enough of those two.
You know, and because Filoni writing it makes me nervous in a certain aspect.
Is he writing the story? Because if not, then I'm not nervous at all. He's a very good
story teller. He knows he knows the lore inside and out. Is he writing the dialogue?
If he's writing the dialogue, that makes me nervous because even what did you wind up watching
Night of the Seven Kingdoms yet? Yeah. I'm a podcast episode out about it today. I love it.
Okay. It's it's right up your alley. Yeah. Right up your alley. We talked about it
the last week, right? And you love egg. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Right. So you watched that show. That
show is 35 to 40 minutes long. Now, granted, you can be a little bit more adult because that's the way
that they're two different brands or two different IPs. And Star Wars was always set up to be
for kids of entries as much to adults to enjoy them as well. Game of Thrones plays in the adult
words. It is the Lord of the, it is, it's the adult, an adult, I shouldn't say that. I should say
but the more the rated our version of Lord of the Rings, right? And so you can you can definitely
do things in a 35, 40 minute show that you can't do in Star Wars. However, because I remember
there's a guy who was just bummed about Night of the Seven Kingdoms being 30 minutes of 40 minutes
long. And I said, it's less about that as long as you're building the characters, I get bummed
when Star Wars and Marvel are 30 to 40 minutes because a lot of the times they spent all that time
doing some silly fight or a five minute joke piece and they lose the essence of the show. As
I mentioned with Mandalorian season three, there's a great moment where Bo Katana's leaving everybody
and there's like the speech that she's and they cut it down. And I'm like, like, let that speech
build, let them like, I'm watching, we watch a game of Thrones and watching people get hyped and
building towards why you love these characters so much. Star Wars needs to get away from just
relying on, oh, there's a cool guy in a helmet and he's got a blast or they have a lightsaber
it's like build the character the way that Han Solo was built. In the fact little things were like
I know that gave him and yes, Harrison Fordian probably put her in question or left it in.
And because of it, you got so much, you just know the essence of who this person was the second
you see Leia and she's not the the rescue me princess. She's blasting people in the hallway.
She's doing you know immediately you're building off of who they are build on your characters,
especially on a television show. Build on them. Let like, let's get more into that in your dialogue
with the sockets like it's like animated writing and for animated, it's fine. You got to you
got to build your characters. He doesn't do that well inside of dialogue. Yeah, I agree with that.
I think he's got really, really great concepts. And then his writing is very George Lucas
asked in terms of dialogue of it's a little clunky and I know I catch heat every time I bring this up
of George Lucas isn't a great dialogue writer. They've talked about this in the prequels
of Liam Neeson and Ian McGregor just being like, we're just trying our best. We're just trying
to figure out what to do here because he also kind of just was like, I don't know, do do the script.
They have great concepts. That was my award winning George Lucas impression. Take my voice acting
classes. Christ. But what a good sell for mail. Yeah, I think it's pretty good. That's a good one.
There you go. Yeah, it's just kind of funky weird. So most things that doctors know that most
dudes never really talk about stress from work and money and family. It doesn't just disappear

Dialogue that feels a little just like stilted. That doesn't really work and so when you do have
somebody like Carrie Fisher, like Harrison Ford, making the words them their own and having little
quips and things like that, you know, scruffy looking nerf herder sounded so natural coming from her
and in those kinds of insults and moments like that, you knew exactly who these people were.
So I love their concepts but I agree with you. I think somebody else should probably come in
and finesse that dial. Yeah, because like you can't, it's like you can, you, you don't have to
just stay in this way. It's just meant for kids because it's not anymore because the thing is
in the 70, people always meant for kids in the 70s. Okay, sure. Those kids have grown up with it,
right? It's not just for kids. It's more for that, right? And so there are certain things,
there's certain animations that could be, but you can write shows where this is where I thought
what they were going to do with the accolade. And I thought that they were going to do
Boba Fett, if we'll get into the second because I, and this is nothing I talked about recently
with somebody is that Boba Fett was sold on a great scene. Boba Fett was sold on that scene,
the end of Mandalorian season two. He walks in and just cold, bloodily murders bit fortuna on
job is thrown. And it's like, and then he puts his leg up and it's like, book a Boba Fett.
Like that's the show I am in. That's the show we want to see forever. And then all you do is have
him introduce himself to everybody every episode. Yeah. What are you here for? I'm Boba Fett.
Yeah, you said that already. We know he starts a youth center for power rangers. No, and then
the guy's doing a stupid spin in the fight. It was ridiculous because and then Favreau sold it off
of this is going to be the sopranos. The sopranos of Star Wars. No, you didn't, you didn't give us
that the premise of that or the idea of that is phenomenal, but they get scared. And that might
be back to what you were talking about earlier. That might turn into studio notes. That might turn
into student. That might be studio saying, Oh, we can't do that. This is where I think it happens.
Yeah, I think they get too nervous of, well, we can't have a character in this kind of show,
just cook and fools. We can't have them do this or we can't really dive into that conversation.
Yes, you can. Yeah, you absolutely can. What Star Wars, you can't rule people sell toys. Stop it.
In the same way that like you have where someone asked me about, I don't remember,
yesterday, whatever, we talked about the legends novels and what I'd like to see in movies.
And then someone asked me recently, do I think that they can make a dark bean movie out of the
novels or a playlist movie? Now, I don't think they can make a movie out of the novels, but I do
think you can make shows out of them because traditionally, people are more inclined to watch
shows about bad guys than they are to watch movies where the bad guys are the victors.
When people watch, how many movies do you walk out of unless it's something like, you know,
seven or something along those lines, you know, where the bad guy is real and seven really,
the bad guy isn't the lead. Where do you watch the movies? Like, entire a big budget movie. I don't
mean like little smaller independent films, the big budget movies where the bad guy is the lead.
It's not, you can probably mean 10 on your hand, right? But TV shows, some of the most popular
breaking bad sopranos, like, there's so many people, like, sons of anarchy, so many shows you
can do. And yes, it's Star Wars, I get it. But if you did a dark main novel and you still have Jedi
and other people in there and you turn those three books, that's that's four four seasons of
television right there. Yeah. Well, television gives you the time to also have those
really rich character studies where you as the audience get to an uncomfortable place of,
oh, I understand everything this person's doing. They are completely justified in their actions.
And it is that exploration, particularly when you have something like Sith characters of,
oh, I can absolutely see how I would be pulled to the dark side, how I would absolutely be,
you know, seduced by this kind of language and revenge and all of this stuff. Because at the end
of the day, we all have those deep little dark thoughts in there. We're just part of a society,
so hopefully we're making good choices. So having that would be so fun to dive into. And it
feels like they just are a little too scared. Like, the Acolyte could have done some really cool
stuff. Those fight scenes were incredible. And that was the saving grace, but they really could
have dove into some messed up stuff. So I think I don't really start on that show. But nonetheless,
this is a new error he's he's right. And I think that what and I agree with you,
what really could come out of this is if the movie turns, that was a good, good, good TV,
remain from TV into film adaptation. And I had a good time at the theater watching it.
It made $400 million or $420 million. Great on to the next one. That's what they need to happen.
That's what they need to have. They don't need it to make a billion dollars. It's not,
I mean, they would love for it. This is no chance. If you bet on a bill, like I said,
if you bet on that movie to make a billion dollars, I am never going to Las Vegas.
Because it's just it's just too hard. It's too hard to do. And the trailers are getting
no one excited right now. But we'll see what happens as it moves forward. But the new era and
everything else to see what's going to happen. And what and maybe Floney does have a plan. We'll see,
I would like to see them dive a little bit more into that into the empire thing. Maybe they did,
maybe they didn't. What do you guys make of this these comments by Floney? You digging what he's
saying here. Do you agree? Are you excited for Mandalorian Grogu? Put your thoughts in there.
Let us know what you think. Now, we mentioned, and we talked about Boba Fett.
I mean, we gave a kind of brief overview of what we thought about it. The other thing that I think
that happened there too, and I want to make it very clear. Some big fan. It's more and more.
He was great. And I think even to what I agree with him, he said, it's not me. They showed his face
too much. It took away the mystery out. Yeah. And it weighed way too much. But here's a, here's a story
that apparently tomorrow Morrison has now revealed that Boba Fett has been put on the shelf by Lucas
Phil. After leading the Mandalorian, Spinoff, the book of Boba Fett has confirmed that Lucas
one has decided to shell one of Star Wars most iconic bounty hunters. Boba Fett made his long
way to return to the franchise in the Mandalorian and the show's second season,
including with the post credit scene that set the stage for the book of Boba Fett. Unfortunately,
that series was widely considered by it as a disappointment. And episode devoted to the Mandalorian,
which obviously included appearances from Luke and Ahsoka, Tano, massively overshadowed the
bounty hunter as did, didn't nearly five years after premiering on Disney Plus. It's obvious that
the book of Boba Fett won't return for a second season. Fett's attempt to take over Tatooine's
criminal underworld made for the interesting viewing. But the book of Boba Fett's villains were
forgettable and the story behind his return soft in the character too much. The less said about the
culpable by Baker Gang, the better. Yeah, I know what the hell they were thinking.
Tomorrow Morrison has never shielded away from criticizing the way he was left on the shelf when
the Mandalorian season three rolled around and has even said that Din Jargens, uh, Tarjans extended
cameo played a role in ruining the Spinoff. Sharing a more measured assessment of his Star Wars
status in an interview, he revealed he received some pushback for telling fans to send a facts
letter or an email to Lucasfilm. He said, I was only joking. I'm at a convention and I say stupid
things. Then I've got Lucasfilm ringing me. Look, you can put in the shelf, Boba Fett. We might
open the jar later. Uh, it was a big deal for me. When you do a series like Boba Fett and working
with me now, when I started to think, man, this is it. I'm a, I'm away. Season two, three, four,
but at the end of we had a great time. I was honored to be brought back after all that time. I'm
Django, I'm Boba, I'm Cody, I'm the clones, I'm Captain Rex, the list goes on so I can't complain.
That to continue, which hopefully leads the door that he will be playing Rex in a soak is two.
Unfortunately, it sounds like an appearance in the Mandalorian Grogo is off the table.
Yada, yada, yada. Look, the problem is not just him saying, you know, write a letter. I mean,
if the show was good, and this is not his fault, it's not his fault, but if the show was good
if people wanted to see more of it, then he'd be back and there's no problem. They dropped the
ball in this. He unfortunately is the lead in it. So he's, he's going to suffer for it. He's 100
percent right? As much as the two, those two episodes of when Dyn comes in in the Luke stuff,
there was the best part of the whole season had nothing to do with anything that they were telling
it all. It was the best part of most interesting thing the whole thing. So they should have,
they just dropped the ball and what the show should have been. It should have been a hardcore
bounty hunter, not make him a good guy. Everybody's, that to me seems like a Disney note. It really
does. I think you're right. It feels that way. And listen, I've talked about this before of I,
I didn't grow up at the time of the movies coming out. They got shown to me by my dad, right? And
I didn't have that. Oh, holy crap. This guy's so cool. I understand it. You know, he, he's in
cool armor. He talks smack to Darth Vader. He's barely in the movies. I'm usually a more as more
kind of person. Boba Fett is a less as more kind of character. What works for him is how mysterious
he is, how he has these kinds of weird echoes of him throughout the universe and everything.
That's the stuff that I want to play with is this kind of ruthless bounty hunter who's here to
take kickass and take names. Who then we can also dive into, hey, there's a whole bunch of clones
here that look like your dad. And now you does that freak you out. Like, there's a lot more stuff
that you can play with as opposed to I'm going to really clean up Tatooine. I don't want the place
of scum and villainy to get a facelift. I want to see the deep dark underground. Yeah, of course,
the whole point was that he was he was part of the he was part of that scene. The pitch was great.
The delivery was terrible. And that's and that's what happened. So they that's what they do it a
lot of their shows. I don't know if they the Mandalorian one and two are the only ones that they
released. Oh, and or and because like at all the shows, the indoor season one is the two of my
aren't my favorites. But I didn't want it. And I was so glad that I was proven wrong. Like,
I remember all the things that you would have told me are these are the shows that are going to
deliver. And this is the show that you're really going to be excited about. And you're going to
be raven about that would been last on my list. I would have had Obi-Wan as number one underneath
it would have been bulb of fat. And and then and the act of light was a big I was super excited
because of the time period. And that's probably the worst thing that they've done. So I think that
when you have this series and you have these pitches, you got you got to deliver on the pitches.
And don't be afraid because you're staying in the same pond. And this is what scares me where
look at all the involvement that this is why I say what I seem to go you're hit or I'm floney. But
you got to piece it all together. Floney was heavily involved and was given notes again if you
listen to roca given notes to Leslie had been in people even on her team said it was happening and
she was involved in it. Definitely was involved in bulb of fat. Definitely was involved in Obi-Wan.
Definitely was involved in all these things. Guess where he wasn't involved? Andor. He was not
was the door shut and did he have remember though when people were when when when Tony Gilworth's
brother was like I met him a few times. He's like the head of creative. I met him a few times.
Means he wasn't involved on the show. That should tell you something because it goes back
look at the dialogue differences between Andor and those other shows. They're cartoony.
Gotta get away from that. So we shall see. Anyway. What do you think about bulb of fat should they
give it another shot? Or no? Let me know. Put your thoughts in there. Great. All right. Let's let's get
to the questions because you had a hell of a turnaround during this year. 40 you're ready.
Yeah. Thanks guys. We can do it. Yeah. We don't have to kill birds. No. You need
right now. What is it about? How many? What are we about? 80 away? Yeah. A little less than 80 away.
Yeah. 80. 80 away. 80 away to win is where you're at. Josh. What's up? Josh. Josh.
Key. 80. 85. Became a new member. Good time to be a member. How many members can we get here
today? Let's see. How many members? Gamer Gomer Powell says, hey, Christian Chris,
been a fan of followers since 2015. Thank you. I just became a member. Thank you so much. If you
could take any album to put on the big screen, what would it be? Might be Dream Theater's Metropolis
part two scenes from memory. First of all, thank you for that wonderful donation. Very kind.
Which album would you take and put to the big screen? I mean, well, I was going to say they really
did. It was a Pink Floyd's The Wall. They already did that as well. Which is fun. Is an album?
Shit. That's a tough one. Oh, the Black Parade by my, my, my chemical roadmance.
Okay. I love that album. It's so good. And the music videos are so theatrical.
My daughter's a big, my chemical girl man. Yeah. Good taste. Yeah. So I'm trying to think that,
I mean, in the door, I was going to say doors. Doors had a whole movie about the doors. I don't,
I'm a terrible person to ask that one. Dude, I'm sorry. But um, so yeah, I'll, I'll just say, um,
yeah, because all my thoughts should I listen to scores and I come from movies. So I suck.
Johnny Patrisa, the Sam No, which game of thrown season is the last to adapt the books? She does not.
I haven't told her anything about any expectations. I haven't told her about what the public
opinion is on anything. I'm letting her judge it all in her own. I have a feeling that she's going to
wind up liking it. The finale. Did you hate the finale? I wasn't a fan. It didn't do it for me.
It was just, it also just felt rushed. It definitely was. I mean, but the thing with me is that I'm,
I'm one of the few people that liked the finale. However, haven't watched it since it aired.
Don't know if I'm going to feel differently now that I've been watching. I mean, I've been watching
Game of Thrones since, you know, on this rewatch for me since, um, like mid or late December and have
been really in this whole world again. And to watch the writing in general, I'm probably going to
notice it more when there's that bigger depth. I'll tell you, I noticed a little bit of it in season six.
Not to, not to, not to the extent of where it's like, whoa, but there's a couple of times. I'm like,
oh, it seems like they're that isn't as the same kind of quality. Then it's like when it,
when a chef leaves the restaurant, right? And you're like, is it a new chef? He's not a bad chef.
He just isn't as good as the last, but he's still good. He's still good. I just wonder if it's
going to start tasting like McDonald's by the time I get to, um, the end. We'll see. No McDonald's
sponsor here, apparently. All right. Um, casual scroll. What does re9 just release? What is that?
Do I know what that is? Re9 just released. Do you think the future films should adapt the game's
actual story with their characters are making more like, what is it? Resident Evil 9. Okay. Wow.
Number nine already. Jeez. Excited to see what Zach Kregor brings while I would have gotten at
the end. Yeah. Um, I am excited to see what Zach Kregor brings also because now he's one of those
people for me that, because I had just seen the barbarian for the first time last year and then
followed that up with weapons and said, I'll watch anything Sky does now. So I'm more excited
that he's doing Resident Evil than I am seeing a Resident Evil movie. That's fair. Yeah.
You know, I, since horror isn't like the genre that I usually go to, I don't really play the games
that much. I did just watch this trailer, though, for the new game. How did it go? Um, I like it.
It looks cool. It looks fun. It looks messed up. Um, there's a really interesting villain. I like
his character design. Um, but yeah, these, these are games that I usually do like, uh, watch throughs
versus play, um, because I, I freak out and I'll panic and like throw the controller and stuff.
So I'll usually watch someone else play these kinds of ones, but I like them. Yeah. Um, I haven't
been playing it since the, I remember the first one was one of the scariest games ever. I prefer.
Matty B, my condolences, Chris, on the passing of Gigi Santiago, the creator of Rainbow Bright.
I remember last week that you said you were a huge fan. I didn't know they passed. Yeah.
Santiago was such a positive reminder to never give up on your dreams. It's just 40 when she created
Rainbow Bright. Oh, yeah. Rainbow Bright was cute as heck. I loved that show growing up. Oh,
I remember, yeah, my, my, I remember that show. Well, yeah, it was
it was one of the big staples for a lot of kids during my, uh, my, uh, mad dog 1424. I know
it's behind, but watching the season four episode nine and 10 reactions right now.
You're debating reactions to nights of the seven kingdoms with Sam, please do them. You
can do it all one sitting. Oh, we're gonna, we're gonna do it. Um, so, but we're not gonna do
that one. Like I said, the schedule for me and Sam right now, I think that will be done with
Game of Thrones proper by recording anyway within the next two, two and a half weeks.
Then we're gonna do House of the Dragon. Then we're gonna do some of the, we're gonna do, um,
Batman v Superman extended cut. Then we're gonna do Wonder Woman. Then we're gonna do
Snyder cut. So those three will be the movies that we do. Then we'll jump into House of the Dragon
um, to lead into the series. Then the season three, then season three, we're gonna watch together
for the first time. And then we're gonna watch Andor season one and two, Rogue one, episode four,
episode five, jumping to episode one, two and three. And then the, um, return to the Jedi,
then Mandalorian season one and two. And then by the time that was all done, Mandalorian and
Grogu will probably be on digital at that point, because we'll probably finish up around, uh,
because what, because it said May is when it comes out at the time we record all that stuff,
we'll probably be into June or July. And so that's probably Wonder Woman. So that's, that's what we're
looking at right. Um, okay. Space Jesus, what do you think of Scary Movie 6 and He-Man being
released on the same weekend? I think you get different audiences. Yeah. It's different audiences.
I think, um, for me, I just watched Scary Movie 1 for the first time two days ago.
Oh. And I have it on, I, we did a reaction with Ming as that record. And I'm gonna do all of them,
but it's, and I can't imagine, I mean, because I watched, and I did wind up watching the trailer
for six. And this is the same shit that, you know, that I expect, I think people are, again,
getting up in arms about everything. And I, I, I come from a different background when it comes to
the stand-up comedy. You take a shot and you do, you do any joke that you want to do. And you wait
until you see the movie before people, people, the generations now get upset about everything. And
some people get pissed off about the, the, some of the jokes. And it's like, we'll see the movie.
You can see the movie yet. Comedy is comedy. You don't have to, you know, you can, you can walk
out and go, I didn't find that funny. I don't tell people not to see the movie because there's
jokes in there. They cut it out. Um, but either way, I, um, I want to see the rest of them. I don't
necessarily, the movie even scary movie one, which, there's a lot of funny stuff. Got a little
long in the tooth. And I wonder how they can sustain that for six movies. I don't know.
What do you think? I've got a lot, I've got a lot of fodder, you know, just because
I have fun horror renaissance. It's just how do you, how do you do those jokes in a fun,
compelling way? I love those kinds of movies, honestly. I think they're really fun and silly.
I think you've got a lot to work with. My whole thing is always just like, as long as you're not
punching down, who cares? Even if sometimes, but that's the thing though, even if there are jokes
that there's a lot of comedians to do that, either find them funny. You know, it's like, it's like,
it's, and if you go to, if you go to the, to the theater and you're like, you know what? I watched
that movie and all the jokes just didn't land for me. The chances are you're not going to like
that movie because you didn't find it funny. But if you went and saw the whole thing and you laughed
at 90% of it, but you got mad at one joke because you didn't think that they should tell it,
but then you look around and other people were laughing at it, then move on to the next joke.
It's okay for, for like, it's one of the reasons I talked about it with comedy all the time. It's
one of the things where was so like, I'm telling you right now, I know what I saw when I was in the
comedy clubs all the time. There are, there are people that I've seen making videos about
innocent shit that people are saying that would lose their minds and their face would melt
at some of this stuff. Go and see Brian Holtzman at, at 11 o'clock or, or, or 12 o'clock at night
when, in the morning, when you're, if you want to get offended, go and do that and see if you can
handle it. That, that to me, comedy's comedy, you take a shot. And I can't, I've always been,
I was talking about this on collider. I, I, I just can't stand when people police comedy. I hate it.
Can six. Hi. Hello. Hello. Dave Faust one became a new member. Thank you. I appreciate that.
Armada, AYT extend extended the edit a little more and add more people. Extended. Oh,
he, so he made, um, he made an edit in the, uh, in the discord with Mike and, uh, that's hilarious.
That's Hugh Jackman and Mike with, um, the, based off of like the John Hammey,
more whatever it's going around. He, but he did it with, oh, yeah. What he did it with Mike and
Penny. So it was pretty funny. Um, Johnny Patrice, a Christian is our way we can get clip of
Sam season five episode 10 reaction to kid Harrington. When a Sam's birthday could we organize
something maybe a response from kit. However, slim the chance. That would be great. Hello.
I should be a great idea. Um, yeah. Birthdays next on November. But, um, but that might be a great
idea. You know what I can shred. Let me see. Let me see if I can find. I'll see if I can peace out.
That was today. I'm going to see if I can peace out her reaction to, um,
to snow. I'll see if I can do that because it, it, it really is, um,
incredible. It's absolutely incredible. And you guys will be like, she, she was, she was not happy.
Let me see. Is that it? Hold on. I got, I'm trying to find it right now. Yes. I see you're
crying. Yep. There it is. I found it. Hold on. Oh, yeah. Okay. All right. I can, I'll do that.
We'll, I'll show you guys a quick, uh, on it and edit a clip. Okay. This is a quick one. Um,
it's a good one. So it's worth it for me to show you. I think it works good.
Okay. Anyway, let's go to the next one. And Christian,
a principal discourse up to 245. That's good. So how many, let's do 245 guys? Um,
camp, let's see if we can get to 250 by the end of the day. The link is in the description.
So make sure that you guys are, um, if you haven't gone over there, please go and do that.
Go and join. It's, it's in the, have you been checking out the discord?
I have. There's so much stuff. There's so much stuff in there. Everyone's so nice too.
Yeah. They're really nice. It's a good, it's a good, uh, it's, it's a good spot to be in them.
All right. And I'm, I'm sorry. I haven't responded to friend requests to you guys. I don't,
I don't do push notifications on my phone. So I just have an answer to those because I'll,
I'll just let you down. That's fair. And I don't want to. That's totally fair. Um,
oh, I got to delete this. And then I will put this, um, for you guys to see, because Chris will
like it too. It'll be, um, it'll be good. It's a good little, um, a little preview for the
episode. Okay. That's sweet. All right. Next one. Uh, okay. Go pal. What's up? Go.
We're Christian 47, by the way. Pretty good. That Chris's cosplaying is also today. Here you go.
Emma, I got a comment shirt on. Is she like Elsa? I think so. I think I haven't actually seen that
movie. Oh, okay. Well, there you go. Uh, Chris is like the Buddha take, taking the middle way in
Ross. I don't know what that means. You know what that means? Taking the middle way,
going with the flow. I guess so. Vigo is like the A list Aaron Eckhart. Yes.
Oh, Aaron Eckhart, A list though. When you say that, uh,
well, Callum Pritchard. I don't think so, but yeah. Yeah. Awesome Butler or Jacob Alority for
for Aegon Conqueror. So are they actually going to do, because I know they're the announced that
they're doing a Game of Thrones movie, but is it actually going to be Aegon the Conqueror?
I don't know. I don't know. Do you want to see? I got the clip. You want to see it?
Yes, please. All right.
What?
No.
Oh,
how great is that? Oh, Sam. It's like you should, and then you go see the exact opposite
with when you come back, she's going, it's so good. She really is a gem. She really is.
Oh, she's a gem. Um, her and I are going, I don't know. I'm not saying it because I can.
There's this, um, this Daredevil event thing that they're doing, Marvel that I'm going to take her to.
So. Oh, fine. Yeah. Yeah. Um, I don't know when, when I'm allowed to talk about it, but we'll,
we'll say, I don't know about post about it. We'll see. My joy, support for Chris save the birds.
Fair enough. Yeah. The Richards art, love, Chris, Jean do all that's good. What's your voice
class call, Chris? Oh, speak friends studio.com is where we have all of them. I've got an intro to
VO coming out in a few weeks. I believe that's April's second. We have a voicing action video games.
Logan's doing scene study. Uh, we have a ton of stuff. So head on over to speakfriendsstudio.com
if you would like to learn voiceover with me and everything's on zoom. Okay. There you go. Uh,
Raiden Ming is support for the Friday crew and everyone in the chat. Thank you, right. Go pal.
Are you Daredevil? I forgot that Kristen Ritter is a major character in Veronica,
March season two. I'm looking forward to Jessica Jones returning him in three weeks. I know I
got a, you know, I've never watched, I didn't watch Jessica Jones and I didn't watch the defender.
So I'm not going to be lost if she's born again. Am I? You shouldn't be, but man, that first season
of Jessica Jones is so good. I would recommend it. I know, but I don't have the time. That's fair.
Yeah. Um, okay. Paul Hitchcock. Every time Mike wins, he increases what he gives to
Penny Barber's Patreon. That's probably true or only fans. And then a box of Kleenex dies. How
does it die? Not well. All, all, everything you just said was factual. Did the D 3555? What shows
you watching right now? Pit. Um, what's DTF? Oh, uh, DTF in St. Louis, which is, yeah, the
Jason Bateman show. You know, I, I had the screener for that. I watched episode one and we,
my, I, I didn't really do this well because I told you, I'm also watching the Steve Carell show,
which is pretty good too. I don't know if that's. Oh, rooster. Yeah. I don't know if that's
dated yet, but I'm watching that. Um, and I like that one. It's the, the tone is, it's good. The
Jason Bateman right away, we were like, okay, my wife said, oh, this one has shoes expecting
something funny. And it doesn't, it's not a funny show. And it doesn't end. The episode one
does not end. And it's not supposed to be a funny show. It doesn't, it's like, oh, this is a
little too dark. I think I'm out. Um, so, and I'm watching so much TV right now with Game of Thrones
stuff that, um, you know, I, um, I, I just, I go home and watch, I watch the news. I go to sleep.
I'm an old man. Oh, wow. Yeah. We're doing shrinking. We're catching up on Abbott. Um, I watch
Will Trent. I like that show. I like a, a little procedural.
See, answer the previous first questions where they can get to. So nine of the seven kingdoms,
by the way, um, what we will do is, because I think nine and seven kingdoms season two,
they say it's supposed to come out next year. That's what they say. Um, so we'll probably watch
that together. Season one before season two comes out and then try to watch season two together.
Yeah. Um, Armada, eight yt. We'll do in prophecy beyond the docket for watch long.
The prophecies that the TV show, right? Yeah. And no, I think, wait, is that the movie with the kids?
Wait, I get all the doon stuff confused. I think it's this, I think that's the show.
Um, yeah, that's the show. Um, no, it won't be a watch on because no, uh, nobody watch,
nobody will watch the reaction. I can't, I can't put the resources on it. Um, and I watched
it for like three or four of the episodes, but doon one and doon two with Sam will be
uh, happened that she's not seen doon one or two and that will happen. Go pal. I feel like she
will. I think she'll like the second one, for sure. Remember, we're going to watch, we're going to
watch them like probably Monday and Tuesday. So it'll be like watching one big movie. Yeah. Uh,
go pal, Seattle, Bird, Demick has prime Whitney more at least. Sometimes go pal, I don't know what
you're saying about these these things. Bird, Demick, that's a, that's like a bird horror movie,
right? I think so. Probably because of the Mike, Mike Kellinowski, um, thing I said, but I don't,
I'm not sure on that one. Uh, the Richards art, what classes in 2026, any fantasy, D&D-ish?
Oh, so we will eventually have our, um, Dungeons and Dialects back. So this is a class where we do,
we gameify dialect classes. So it's improv and dialect wrapped into one. So you pick out your
dialect as long as it's appropriate for you. And we have you choose your class and everything
like you would in a regular D&D game. And we run a campaign well, Logan is making dialectical notes
the entire time. Uh, other like fantasy kind of stuff. Again, we've got that video game voicing one,
voicing action. So you can learn how to do effort spells, um, taking hits and stuff like that. So
you sound like you're actually fighting or committing to the bit as opposed to making noises that
sound a little bit more like mom and dad wrestling. Uh, okay. So they make sure you go and check
that out. Sorry, Kevin Smith's text to me. Who's going to, who's going to be on the show next Wednesday?
Yeah. Mike, uh, Mike Joyce, you watching the house of the dragon with Sam. Yeah, just said,
I said that. We're doing, uh, we're doing season one and season two. And then we're going to watch
three together for the first time. Seattle K out project, Hilary Marking has been interesting,
whether it was Ryan Gosling on Jeopardy or the Mikey De Pal, uh, Valentine's FaceTime phone call
viral club. I didn't see that part of it. I did see him on Jeopardy though. Um, I don't necessarily
know though anymore how that plays because I thought the fall guy marketing was brilliant. And it
had movie they do do. Yeah. So I don't know how that really works anymore. Marketing when it comes to
whether it's, you know, awareness or not, I think the people were aware of fall guy that's
weren't paying attention to it. But I do think this movie is going to do very well. And I think it
should do very well. It's, it's awesome. I hope. Um, are you going to see this? Are you going to
see it? Yeah. I'm pumped. I love, I love anything with space. I worked for, I worked for NASA
out in Houston. I did community outreach for them. Yeah. I love space. Oh, well, if you, I mean,
this is a really done, really well done space movie. But I'm, but I, I'm begging you to go see it
in I max, like real I max, um, like it's, it really, it's not, it's, it, it's shot for I max.
And it, it just is one of those movies you have to see in I max. Um, and I don't work for I max.
Okay. Uh, Armada, Ayt, I put the refurbished edit that builds up with more people in the cool
art section on discord, not save for work still has the same music. All right, go and check that out.
Everybody, if you're on the discord, there's a lot of things. There's a lot of fun stuff in that
discord. Go and check it out. Um, okay, Richard, aren't already the classes are online. Okay,
I'm not in Hollywood anymore. Oh, yeah, online is what I do. I don't, I don't, Richard, I don't
let people into my house. Fair enough. Ray Dominguez. I actually liked the Hey, Mando show season three.
He was on season three. He was season one. Hey, Mando. Grogo shouldn't have been in there though.
Well, that is the other thing that they, that they, the problem that they ran into with Grogo.
Grogo's great character and was the essence of what season one and essentially two was all about,
right? That giving away to Luke thing was, was good storytelling made a lot of sense and
it again seemed like a Disney note of like, Hey, we have to bring them back immediately for season three.
And you got to bring them back in that other show that we're doing right now because otherwise
people won't watch if you don't have Grogo in it. And it's like, let the Mandalorian be in the show
called the Mandalorian. Yeah, trust in it. And they didn't. They just, they, they, they, that's why
they're doing the Mandalorian and Grogo, as opposed to the Mandalorian movie. Um, anyway,
Armada 8 YT Lucas and George R Martin impression conversation would would be, I mean, it's kind of
like the same one, one, one talk slower. Everyone down and here, you know, sorry.
Yeah, one is a little higher up and like, how do you, do you like that naked scene? I wrote you.
I'm never going to finish a single book. No, I don't need to. I'm dragons.
Richard's art wasn't there an issue with Pedro's money that spunked up Mando season three
in Bobo effect. Uh, potentially, potentially. Um, they're, they're marking the shit out of him now
with putting his face in the trailer as they should have. Right. Singh Star Wars is for kids
and not everyone has such a hacky excuse. I'm with you. I'm sorry, but it had to be super chat.
I'm with you. I'm with you. I think that they do that way too often. And it's at a different time
period now. Um, yeah, you can, you can do both. Mr. Andy Fanatic. Chris, what's something you
covered on two filthy casuals that you became a fan of? Also, did you ever see B&B year one fan
film? It's so damn good. B&B. Don't know. I'm not sure. Let me know what that is. Uh, um, gosh,
uh, Demon Slayer. Demon Slayer was a big one where my, uh, now Paul Holly came on and she talked
to us about Demon Slayer and gave me the rundown on it. And I watched a couple episodes and I
went, oh, this is pretty cool. And then I got obsessed with it. Um, I love it. And I am
furious with how, uh, that anime company dealt with y'all's reaction videos because gosh,
that show is so good. And I want more people to watch it. Oh, Batman Beyond your one fan film.
No, I have, I see, I have a pal who did one. So maybe it's the same one. I don't know.
I've seen one. I've seen one Batman Beyond fan film. Okay. I liked it. Okay. All right, next one.
Uh, say okay. A bird. Demick is the worst bird centric movie I've ever seen. I think I remember
seeing the movies. Okay. So that's why we had the one from Gopal. Yeah, I guess so. Okay.
I don't, is it, is it terrible? I've never seen it. I don't know. I don't, I can't
remember it being terrible. I don't, I don't know who knows. Um, okay. Next one. I know he did
that one. Okay. Sorry. Sorry. Sorry. Sorry. Sorry. Sorry. And then the next one here is Yoshimitsu.
Dave Floney definitely writes just like Lucas. I mean, again, he's a good storyteller.
Terrible terrible dialogue writer. Terrible. Yeah. Um, Ray Dominguez. I'm still mad about
tomorrow, Morrison not being in the Soca live action series to Captain Rex. Well, we don't know
yet. He might be in season two possible. You know, I'm not going to report on him anymore because
every time I do, I, I told people like Chris a year ago in January, I told people that you and
McGregor was going to be in this show as an Obi-Wan three days ago, like I don't know,
Star Wars news net or somebody else is like, hey, or they didn't say it, but they reported
it off somebody else. You and McGregor is going to be in a, they, they, like a casting director
or an ordinary costume designer said something about you and McGregor and like, oh, apparently,
he's going to be in it. Yeah, I said that. I remember I also said, Embo was going to be in trailer,
trailer hits. Oh, Embo's in this. Hey, I said that. I told you guys, I don't, I don't report on,
I don't do scoops. So if I, if I, if I come out and I hear something and I say something,
then that'd be all right. Just saying, um, it's my, it's my favorite. It's like, uh, yeah,
you know, you know, it's going to be in it. Yeah, 25, January, 22, all right. Uh, let's say
next one. I have all, this is from Yoshimitsu. Who says I have often, often wondered if the
dialogue in the Star Wars original trilogy sounds so different because it's based on 70
science setups. He hasn't signed with the prequels. That's a good, it's also a good, um,
good call. I mean, it definitely has that type of feeling it about what's going on in the time.
I think it's a great, that's a great call. Of course, it is. Yeah. Well, yeah, what's, and, and
it's also a matter of age in the composer, the life experiences and things that you're going through
when, I mean, John Williams is what? In his 40s, when he was doing the Star Wars music. So it's
very different when he's doing the music from like the new trilogy. It's different life experiences,
different emotions, different things that you come up with ways that you feel things that you're
coming up a hundred percent. Uh, yeah, absolutely. Bobby, support for the effervescent Chris
Carr. Oh, I think you, Bobby. Bobby's the best. The Richard's art, Sith should embrace arrows.
Okay. I'm with you. Uh, the G man, night of seven kingdoms finale was amazing. I like so
I just, you see what I was talking about though, or like five and six could have been one long
episode. Oh, yeah. No, they very much could have. Yeah. But man, I was so just so excited to see
the conclusion of this. And oh, I mean, this isn't a spoiler spoiler, you guys, but like the moment of
just the, the horse going the other direction into a field, cinema, stunning. Okay, let's see.
Next one, Richard's art. Chris thoughts on masters of the universe.
Oh, man, those trailers look fun. They look kitschy. I'm into it. And remember, like my
human experience is like the Christmas specials with she run stuff. So I've got a different kind of
like vibe going into that. That's cool. That's great, though. Ray to Mingus, some support because
you guys got me were watching Game of Thrones again. Yeah, it's great to be back there. It's
really, this is so fun that you bring this up. Um, Alan, Christian, you and Ming have to react to
flash Gordon since Ming's the villain. He's pretty sinister. Plus that movie rules.
Also, hey, Chris, you know, I don't know. I have to assume that that Chris has seen it. I think
that I'm going to watch it with with either Winston or Steph. I've never seen flash. You've never
seen it either. No, I have to watch with you. Um, I mean, it is, it is about as, you know,
campy 80s B movie as you can get. And I love it. Yeah, that's it. I mean, Mike's seen it in a
million times. I couldn't do it. Mike. Uh, second on flash. Oh, you saved everyone of us.
You know, she meant to. Did you see goat? It's gorgeous and well written. No, I haven't. That one,
I'll probably what did you see it? Why don't you save that one, Chris, because maybe we'll do that
because I know you're a big animation and I missed it. So maybe when that comes out on digital,
that's the one we'll do together. Okay. Perfect. It's comedian. Chris is one for one. We did,
we did, uh, we did transformers together. I think crushed. We got to do another one. So let's try
the g-man show Sam kit story of getting out of speed ticks. Oh, I got it. I got to see that.
All right. I will. Um, go pal. Ra is usually Ra's a race, but Chris said Rosh.
I say Raja Google. Oh, Rosh like with a z-shish.
Kit Harrington isn't on Cammy, but Hodor is says Haskell. Hodor. Hodor. Armada,
someone say Holtzman. That's right. There he is. That's Holtzman right there. That's Brian Holtzman.
You want to, you want to watch, watch over YouTube video Brian Holtzman walking a room,
people getting upset about Brian Holtzman. One of the best things you'll ever see on the internet.
Season three of, uh, Daredevil is the best. You know, I still haven't seen it. I know. It's the one
seen. Nathan Drake, Jessica Jones, season one is so great. David Tennant is amazing villain. I feel
like no one names him in top comment villains. I'll tell you that's true because what's hilarious
is that I've talked to people, well, you just did Scott Manson Prussian right now. Uh, Chris,
and David Tennant is definitely on a raid. I'll tell you why because I've been doing this show for
how long and nobody would bring some up over here. I near here. He's so talented. Okay.
And so cute. Yeah, I didn't, I didn't see that one. So I couldn't tell you whether that's true
or not. Go pal. Good luck on 120. Got to drop for a call in a minute. Thank you. Go pal.
Thanks. Thank you. Miss Seattle K of Super Chat. Which one?
The Birdemic one. But then we got it. Oh, I got it. So you're, you guys are wrong. I'm a shit.
The G-man Chris Artemis got pushed to April. I know, but it also makes sense given the state of
the world right now. If, if there are wars happening, we should not be launching things into space.
That is just unsafe. So I understand why they would do that.
Richard Dart Jessica Jones season one needs a caution label.
Oh, does it? Why? Oh, so David Tennant is terrifying in season one. And it is very, uh, it's a lot
about, um, essay. It is, it's a dark storyline. Um, yeah. He, he went that villain route after he
did years of playing the doctor on Doctor Who. Yeah. Yeah. Then it was like, I'm going to do some like
messed up meaty rolls and boys you could add it. Yeah. Your shimits support for Chris,
uh, Chris car brand, euphemisms. So what is that? Um, I think they liked when I said, uh, video game noises
could sound like mom and dad wrestling. Ah, yeah. Right. Bro, you totally missed Seattle Super Chat.
No, I didn't.
Richard Dart, what's the closest film comparison for Hill Manor? I gave like 87 of them.
What I saw and people, and I'm going to justify what I, one of the ones that I said, because I
remember seeing, I've said one movie and my entire out of the theater reaction was, was comment to
this. So I said, it's a bit of, um, it's the Martian, right? Obviously.
Makes sense. Yeah. Interstellar, gravity, a little bit of cast away with a little bit of mac
and me as well. What? That's great. And I said with, but not even riding a bike off a cliff
or anything on those lines, it's just the relationship, you know, it's good. The relationship that he
has with, with, with the alien with the thing. And I was like, that's, that's the only reason I
said it. The movie itself, no, but like that, that aspect, or you could say, ET, but that really,
so yeah, that's, that's where I would go. But I would really lean heavily into like the Martian
meets like gravity of the two most. Israel is a poor Sam. I love your face Christian,
especially your eyes looking forward to your one piece reacts and Hill Mary loved your reaction,
but where's your bike? I know the bike is somewhere else. I've watched season two,
episode one and two so far, one and one piece. And so we're going to try to get into the next
show. I'll be releasing them hopefully day by day when they come out. So there you go. Mike
Joyce, do you watch the Ted show on peacock? Pretty good. No, I don't watch it. And I watched
movie one of his. You watch it, Chris? No, I just saw, I saw trailers for the latest season and
it looks so fun. Yeah. Really? I should go to go. You've seen the movie. I've seen the movies and
my family is all from Boston. So it's just hearing all my cousins yelling, basically, is what that
show feels like. Philly G support for Chris. Thank you. Thank you. Justin Bishop support support.
Two more for now as we are at 66. Oh, people. Richard is our YouTube doesn't like sith should embrace
sensuality. Yes. Oh, okay. That is true. Armada 8 YT saw that people left Holtzman show after he
hated on Taylor Swift. It's on his YouTube channel. He's great. You have to go and see him live.
Chris, you and Logan have to go and find him at the comedy store. I don't know if he's scheduling.
I mean, he is wonderfully offensive. But in a way that like he's a comedian's Connor. I mean,
everybody stops to watch him because you don't know what he's going to say. He's out of his
mind to some of the things that he says. And I love him dearly. I've been watching him for a very
long time. And Alice and I still send clips of him to each other all of them. Armada 8 YT.
Mac and me has a dance number in McDonald's. Yeah, no, not that kind of stuff. I don't even know
if I've ever seen Mac and me to be completely honest with you. I just know the idea of the
of the relationship is where I went with that. It was the one that when I said it, I was like,
oh, man, everybody's really hung up on this Mac and me. All right. So one more support
from Ray to me at 68. So Chris didn't quite get there. I'm not stomped. It's 60. It's pretty good.
I think you're, I think you're a number 14. But I think you're number two of the week. Nobody had
Mike's the only one that was over. I think Roxy was like 67 or something. So like you, you had,
you're you came in you came in number two. Pretty good. Mike just Mike, you know, Mike did Mike
used use the sympathy card this week. The power of porn. Yeah, the power of porn.
You can we stop calling it corn stars or whatever the hell it is that people do the corn
thing. It's just, it's, you know, I get if you want to go P stars or whatever or or
or dull entertainment industry, the corn thing, it's just me nuts.
Because let's see, don't get like demonetized. I guess. So just say a dull entertainment
or or don't address or something. The corn thing is stupid. Don't do that.
Anyway, all right. I think that's it. Chris, tell good people where they can find you. What's
Oh, man, you can go ahead over to two Philly Casuals pod wherever you get your podcast. We have

That's okay. Um, does Mark says tonight come at nice. Yeah, actually we got 70 with the
G man with support. Um, please, please, and please go and head on over to the discord. Do that
today. Please. And thank you. And that's about it. So we'll be back here on Monday, myself,
and Roca. Please, I'm going to be doing um, Game of Thrones. We, we just put season. What the hell
was it? It was nine and 10 to put up. I think season five episode one and two will go up tomorrow
for Saturday. And then we're going to go back. I think we're going to try to do. We're going to
try to go Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday will be the release for now. Um, if we miss a couple
shoot days and it'll go back to Tuesday and Friday, but Tuesday, Friday and Saturday for now.
71 to fill the casuals is hilarious. So, uh, yeah, she would say thank you so much. Yeah,
Amy Newman is one of the funniest people on earth. So, I don't know if you do. She worked with
me over at Campia for like a second. Um, and we just really, really clicked. She's so freaking
funny. She is improv all over L.A. She just stand up. Um, you'd love her. Let me see. Let me see if
I recognize her. Um, no, I don't think I do. She's going on. Yeah, like, uh, definitely, uh,
maybe next time next time we're at L.A. We'll, we'll go, uh, everybody will say hello. Yeah. Um,
all right, guys, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you for being here. Thank you.
The great Chris car. Thank you everybody for this week. Uh, next week, we're going to be doing a
show on Wednesday with with Kevin Smith's, which would be live. He'll Kevin, the smash
will be coming in here. So in a full week of stuff going on, thank you for being here.
Appreciate it. We'll see you on the flip side. Bye, everybody. Bye. Did you sit there?
