Welcome to Betting Weekly Extra Time European Edition.
You're with Dan Robacolong, Cyme Asperger, Steve Whiss and James Easton this week.
We have got picks, plays analysis, thoughts, league amp, Bundesliga Serie A,
and the copper del Rey final at Let It Against La Rial, best bets from Steve and James.
And Steve, as I say, a very good day to you.
A collaborative parlay that you've come up with.
Well, good day to you.
How's it going, everyone?
What a week it's been in the soccer world.
We've had conclusions of the quarterfiles and the Champions League, Europa League, Conference League.
I don't know, it's much left in my tank after that Europa League night.
Some winners, but also missing out on a potentially really big parlay.
But, yeah, look, for the rest of the season now, we are going to have a collaborative parlay, I think.
Each week, we're looking at four legs, two from me, two from James.
And, you know, we're getting to that stage of a season where we need to swing a little bit, don't we?
And I think we've been calling a lot of things right.
You know, and they're generally actually in the last couple of months.
So let's combine it together.
Me and James have combined well for two daily doubles in the last couple of Thursdays.
So let's hope we can combine for the four-legged coming up for soon.
Yeah.
Yeah, look, I mean, you say you need to swing.
You don't need to swing too much.
You know, we had a winning week last week.
I think lots of daily doubles coming in as well.
You mentioned that parlay that just missed.
Everyone was crying that we didn't get at least one more in that forest portal game.
But I hope James that Steve hasn't forced you into this.
Just blink twice if you need saving.
No, he's not done.
No, I think it's a really good idea because, yeah, we obviously, listen, we did the parlay last season.
Didn't we? It's something we've done.
We're doing the daily doubles on the daily show.
And it's small stakes.
I think that's important to point out.
We're doing half a point on the parlay that we'll be coming up with later in the show.
There's a quarter point each.
Very happy to risk or stake a quarter point on a parlay.
It's not quite the 154 to one shot that Steve had on the daily show on Thursday.
But it is a bit of good fun, but also some pretty strong selections in that parlay as well.
So looking forward to doing that.
Not just this week, but over the next few weeks as well.
Yeah, well, we'll cover the parlay a little bit later on.
We're going to kick off with the big gaming Spain, the only gaming Spain, really.
In terms of top flight teams, because Lulliga haven't got a program because it is the copper Del Rey final.
In Seville, it's 3 p.m. Saturday, Eastern Athleti against Real Sociedad.
Look, Steve, great wait for Athleti.
Three to the semi-finals of the Champions League.
First semi-final at the Montreal Palo Tano, of course, because their previous ones, the previous ground.
I don't want the copper for a long time.
Real Sociedad last one in 2020.
The final didn't place to the next year against local rivals Athletic Club.
There weren't any fans present.
So there's really good narrative for this cut-final for both of the teams.
And it should be a really good watch in terms of betting.
Just gives your thoughts on the final.
You've got an official play on this that's sort of outside the sort of money line.
Is this Athleti's to lose? I mean, 1-120 is going to attempt a few people in, I think?
Yeah, do you know what? I think Athletic and Madrid are going to win the trophy.
But I give Real Sociedad the chance.
There's a few reasons why I give him a chance.
I think, number one, that they're actually not a bad team at all.
They've got goals in them, which I think always helps.
And look at the schedule Athletic have had recently.
They've been able to rest and rotate pretty well.
But, you know, the soon as the full-time whistle went against Barcelona.
Every single player just sunk to the ground and they were shattered.
And okay, they've had a little bit longer than normal to prepare for this.
And they should be able to get themselves back on track.
But it's not as simple as La La Al who have had a whole week to prepare.
You know, this is huge for both teams.
Diego Simeone has managed, I think, nearly 800 games for Athletico.
He's been more of the highest paid head coaches in the world.
During that period, I think, for many of those years he was the number one highest paid coach.
Now, let's just reel off the actual trophies he's won here.
Two times La Liga champion.
One Spanish cup.
Two Europa leagues.
One Spanish Super Cup and two UEFA Supercups.
Now, is that enough?
Is that enough trophies in that period for the quality he's available to him and the amount of money that he's been paid?
That's not for debate.
Look, he's won things.
That's what I would say the two league titles, especially, he's always impressive to beat Barcelona and Real Madrid.
He's very, very impressive.
But I think he, you know, there's been pressure on him to win more, isn't he?
So if this is a massive game for Athletico, they could really do with a bit of silverware in the cabinet
before this Champions League semi-final.
Because, you know, they could finish with a really great double here to finish the season off with.
Possibly to finish his reign off in Madrid.
Who knows?
So I think they're going to be bang up for it.
Obviously, Real Sociedad are going to be as well.
I do have an official same game, Parley, 0.5 units here.
And I couldn't decide between the corners or the goals.
So I've combined them both for good measure.
Yeah, I really like the corners.
Both of these two sides rank so high on the corner charts for the league at this season.
Real Sociedad nearly average six corners per game.
Athletico and Madrid, 6.48.
It was a really, really good game between the two sides recently.
And it was a three goal to two win for Athletico.
And I see it's been an open final with goals in it.
And I think the corners will naturally come in.
So over nine and a half corners, over two and a half goals.
Plus 185, same game, Parley, for half a unit.
I think it's going to be a really good final.
And I think Athletico will just get it done.
Maybe they might need extra time.
They might need penalties.
I think they're just going to get it done.
But I don't, I'm not discounted Real Sociedad in this one.
Yeah, shout out to Steve as well.
Who read Athlete and Larry Alperfectly last week, especially the Athlete game.
So here we're backed off the boards in that one.
Just to lift the trophy.
Athlete minus 240. Real Sociedad plus 175.
Over the runners.
Minus 108 for over both teams to score.
Yes, minus 130.
We've seen both teams score.
Yes, in the last four copper Delray.
Final six of the last nine have been overs.
We've had a draw at 90 minutes as well.
James, your thoughts on the final.
You've got a prop that you quite like just as a lead.
Yeah, I've got a prop on the game.
Just generally, I think the prices are probably fair on Athlete to win it.
I was clear favorites both in 90 minutes and to lift the trophy.
One thing I would say is don't pay too much attention to the form on Athletico Madrid.
They've lost five of their last six, I think.
If people were just looking at that, having not followed the matches, they might be put off.
But, you know, with Steve rightly flagged up last week.
They've been picking and choosing their games in the league, which doesn't matter.
And, you know, they played Barcelona three times recently as well as Real Madrid.
And I think one of the defeats was Tottenham away from home.
So I don't think the form figures matter at all on Athletico Madrid.
Don't let that dissuade you from being with them.
But, yeah, my prop bet is on Antoine Griezmann, who's been really good in the competition.
He's the five gold top scorer for Athletico Madrid in the copper Delray.
And he's only fourth biggest on a lot of the attacking metrics.
A lot of the attacking prices in the props market.
So I like him in the over 0.5 shot on target market.
He's available at minus 130 there.
I think that's a decent price on a player who's been doing really well in the tournament.
And he's plus 270 in the anytime gold scorer market.
If you prefer that, there are three players shorter than him.
So I think that makes sense because he's obviously not the most prolific player in the squad.
And he's not the gold scorer.
He has been in the past, but he has done well in the competition.
And I think if he's in the starting lineup, minus 130 on Griezmann,
just to have a shot on target is a good price.
Yeah, farewell lap, isn't it?
All these big games for Griezmann.
And we can expect him to come to the four at some stage in some games.
That's just a lean from Jamie.
Look, it should be a really good game.
That is Saturday at 3 p.m. Eastern.
It's the copper Delray final.
Got that official same game, Parley from Steve, over 9.5 corners and over 2.5 goals.
Plus 1.85 just for half a year.
We were a little low on Serie A content last week, although James is playing the terrain again,
was absolutely spot on.
But we have got a little bit more for Italian soccer fans this time around.
We're going to kick off with the main game, which is Sunday evening local.
It's 2.45 Eastern.
We're entering for Juventus against Belonia here.
UVM minus 240, Belonia plus 650.
The tie at plus 350 here.
And we've had quite a bit of discussion about a top four situation with Serie A as well.
Quite some nice thoughts from one or two people online as well on social media about who they fancy.
UVM minus 200 now to finish in the top four.
They've won their last two against Geno and Atalanta.
And they've kept clean sheets in for the last five.
They've just got a little bit better defensively, maybe.
Como 58 points plus 150 without winning two.
And Roma 57 points plus 550 for a top four finish.
I'm holding one of those tickets back on track.
Oh, with a win over pizza last Friday.
But outside of the three to grab that last four spot.
Steve, you're sort of top four thoughts first before we get into your play on Juventus
because you have got some significant cash going down on the old lady.
Well, we had this discussion a few weeks ago.
And I think we all agreed at Como are likely to get in that top four,
but they've dropped points since then.
You know, just to draw against it in easy.
Not terrible.
We expect them to win it.
How did they lose to Inter?
Seriously.
But there've been quite a few games this season where they've massively won the XG battle.
But not won the game.
And that's probably their issue that they lack of a number nine for sure.
A really, really good striker.
They seem, by the way, just rocking a little bit.
They've been really poor recently.
And I wonder if they could be catchable for both.
But Juventus now seem to be in their stride.
They've been the doors been opened by them from Como.
And it looks like Juventus are going to take advantage, which for me,
it can't be a surprise because on paper still.
I look at this squad.
For me, it's a second best squad in Syria, genuinely.
So for them not to get in the top four would be very, very disappointing.
The last two matches, what I have seen differently is more focus defensively from them.
The mistakes haven't been there.
They've looked more assured.
And you know, if that continues and they will be getting in the top four.
Just very quickly on top four from you, James, before we get Steve's pick on this game.
Yeah.
Well, last time we talked about it, I said the question mark against Como.
The question mark against Como is how they handle challenging for top four spot
because it's something they've not done before.
Maybe there were shades of that in that defeat to enter.
It was a game where they could have got points.
And that's why they've gone plus money now in the top four market.
Maybe that means now is the time to back them because they're much bigger than they were
when we talked about it the other week.
So just goes to shows where other fixtures that you play are important.
You know, a defeat to enter even though they'll be disappointed.
Isn't the worst result in the world.
I think some people would have expected them to lose it.
So they've obviously got easier fixtures to come.
So, yeah, it's a fascinating market.
And I would not be surprised if we have some more twists and turns in terms of the prices before the end of the season.
Yeah, one of those markets where you can build your books steadily and back a lot of plus money
and have a healthy position on a number of teams.
Right, let's get this pick from Steve in this one.
Because this fits the sort of narrative in lots of ways.
Because Bologna are pretty toothless against Villa coming off the back of that Thursday.
Europa League exit.
And I've liked Bologna for a long time.
But I think I know their limitations now.
They're outsiders to integer in Steve.
How are we playing it?
Yeah, I'm doing exactly the same strategy this week because I did last week in the Ren game.
And I felt really unlucky in that Ren fixture last week.
I think they should have won three or four nil.
But I am splitting my stakes here.
I am having one and a half units on Juventus minus 1.25 on the Asian handicap.
That's nearly even money minus 103 and a half a unit on the minus two Asian line,
which is at plus 245 because I think Juventus win this hands down convincingly and by quite a big margin.
You know, they're in good form.
You know, they've been a bit of sweet team for this season, Juventus haven't they?
We've had some great results with them and some shockers.
But I think this is the week they really help me out and get me some units on the table.
Because what a great spot to face Belonia.
Who have they just looked done in now, Belonia to me.
You know, you asked them to be in them convincingly twice.
But they managed to hold themselves together last week in the middle of the Europa League ties.
But they've only beat incriminancy and leche recently.
This is a much tougher task.
You know, on the back of what three, you know, three days after a trip to Villa Park when they just got obliterated.
Now they go to Juventus.
They've been fully fresh all week, fully focused on this all week.
Western McKenny comes back from suspension.
He's been a big player for them.
I didn't even play last week.
So yeah, for me, Juventus easily, you know, bare minimum win the game.
But I think they could definitely because now that defense looks a bit more secure than it did a month ago.
The winter, you know, winter nil comes into the equation.
That really helps our handicaps.
So, you know, I'm looking two nil, three nil, possibly four nil here again.
You know, belonging is positioned in the table.
You know, seventh place.
I think could that possibly become conference league for Serie A?
I'm not sure.
But even that, the five points off at Atlanta.
So yeah, I think they're going to fizzle out a bit.
Belon you're into this sort of no man's land period, you know, eight to 10th before the end of the season.
And I struggled to see how they're going to live with the event this weekend.
But in the stakes, one and a half units on the minus one and a quarter and half a unit on the minus two Asian line.
Hopefully we can get a big, big, big win from Juventus.
If this one comes in, just watch out for Belonia in their last two away games at Napoli and Atlanta.
Steve may well be playing exactly the same.
Fading Belonia if they sort of just drop into that mid table, nothing to play for and having a bad time situation.
Good spot from Steve for this one.
Napoli Lazio for James next year.
This is Saturday midday Easter.
Napoli minus 190.
Lazio plus 550.
The title is 285.
A stumble for Napoli last week though.
We thought that maybe we might get a title race, but a one-one draw at power was probably scuppered that.
Are they going to get back on track?
Yeah, I think the title races all over Dan with that result for Napoli last week and into winning.
It's a nine point gap now for Napoli behind leaders into with only six games to go.
So it is all over, but yeah, I think Napoli will get back on track this weekend.
I'm backing them here with one unit on the Asian handicap, which is available at plus 102.
I suppose the question people might have about Napoli is if they can't win the title, will they still be motivated?
You know, is there enough energy going to be put into games when they're really fighting to finish second?
I think they will.
I think they will want to finish second ahead of Milan, who are the closest challenges at the moment.
So I'm still expecting pretty good motivation here from Napoli.
They're also defending the only unbeaten home record in Syria.
They've been excellent at home all season.
And I think they should win.
And another factor in why I'm back in Napoli is that that's really do not have anything to play for for me in the league table.
They are almost certain already are finishing in mid table.
They've been inconsistent and fairly unimpressive.
You have to say all season long.
I cannot really see them summoning the energy to go here and win.
And I think their minds will now be fully on the copper Italia because they've got the second leg of their semifinal against that Atlanta next week.
It's 2-2 from the first leg.
So there's everything to play for there.
They've got a really important match coming up.
Will they rotate this weekend?
Yes, for that match next week, they may well do.
But even if they didn't, I think one or two of their better players would already be thinking about that copper Italia game anyway.
So then you've got a difference in quality here.
You've got a team with a good home record and you've potentially got quite a big difference in motivation for me as well.
So it's one unit play on Napoli minus one on the Asian handicap.
And that's available at plus a hundred and two.
Let's look at Serie A game.
Goes to James another unit here.
Cover your ears Steve.
Verona Milan.
Sorry, our actions Sunday nine.
Where Milan a minus one ninety Verona plus five fifty type plus two eighty five.
Milan have lost the last two and three of the last four.
I was sort of on the Steve bandwagon here, but Mr.
Eastham is suggesting something else.
I am indeed.
Yeah, so I'm back in Milan this weekend again, same as the Napoli play.
It's on the Asian handicap Milan minus one away from home here to Verona,
which is available at plus a hundred.
So the only way you can lose with this play is if Milan don't win the game.
And that's how I came at it really.
I don't understand the reservations about Milan given they've not been in the best of form.
You have to say two defeats from the last two matches and three from four.
But I feel sometimes that is a right time to back a good team because you know,
are they going to lose three in a row or drop points three in a row?
I'm not so sure if they were facing a better team than maybe,
but they're facing arguably the weakest side in Serie A at the moment in Verona.
Verona was second from bottom.
There's seven points from safety with six games to go.
IE, they're almost relegated already.
And they're in even worse form than Milan, you know, they've lost their last four.
And I think they've lost seven of their last dates at home.
And the only team they've taken points off at home in that run is Pisa,
who are the only team below them in the table.
So you're looking at Verona side who are really struggling.
I just wonder if they still believe they can get out of trouble
because it will almost take a miracle now for them to save themselves.
So I think is a good opportunity from Atlanta to get back in form.
They've been pretty good.
We should stay away from home all season.
I would say arguably a bit better away from home than at home, actually.
And they've won nine out of 16 of their away games.
So we may only have the handicap equal to here.
If Milan win by a single goal, then you'll get your stakes back.
But as I say, I think all factors taken into consideration.
There's a pretty good chance here that Milan get the three points.
So it's a one unit play from me.
Same as the Napoli play.
It's Milan minus one on the Asian handicap.
Yeah, looked at one or two of the stats.
Rossin area of one six of eight when minus money away.
So that's certainly a trend pointing Milan.
But yeah, there's a slight question mark from me.
But I bow to James is a massive match next week, by the way.
Juventus travel to AC Milan next week.
So yeah, both teams really could do with the one on the board before that.
Yeah.
Yeah, we might have to bump that one up the running order.
I think the next week.

Bundesliga next up.
And Steve has got some thoughts on a number of games here.
Three bets one lane.
Three of the four picks concern goals.
Naturally is the Bundesliga after all, including one that you might not expect.
We'll leave that one till last.
Hoffenheim Dortmund is a 930 Eastern kickoff on Saturday.
Hoffenheim plus 163 Dortmund plus 143 here.
It's almost teacher to the type plus 270.
Steve, what's the line?
One and a half units on over 3.25 gold.
Steve's going big today with the units.
That's all I'm saying.
So do you know what?
This was nearly a massive play.
I'm talking two and a half, even three units.
This was nearly my biggest ever play on the show.
Because I just, this is just right for goals, isn't it?
Dortmund, Hoffenheim just screams goals all day long.
Hoffenheim had been bumped out of the top five.
Fifth place might get you champions league now, by the way, in Germany.
We don't know it's going to be Germany or Spain.
It's tight, isn't it?
Yeah.
Yeah, it could come down to the Champions League final.
If buying a ring it or let it go or in it.
But yeah, Hoffenheim have just gone off a bit like coma a bit.
As the pressure got to them to some extent, they weren't expected to be in the running for the Champions League.
And, you know, no winning four games.
They've been conceding a lot of goals, but I think they come swinging out here.
I don't think, I mean, the main strength of them all season has been scoring goals.
We know that.
So when you sort of cornered a little bit under pressure,
you go back to what's good for you, don't you?
And that is trying to win shootouts.
But I think the bigger question marks about Dortmund in this game,
I just don't know what we're going to see from them.
They are landlocked.
They're genuinely landlocked in second place.
They're not going to finish anywhere else.
Let's be real here.
You know, eight points, clear a third.
And buying or about, you know, I think buying can win the title this weekend, can't it?
In theory.
So, yeah, it depends what version of Dortmund we get.
I mean, they lost 1.0 to leather goose and last week it was a bit of a tired display.
It was a display that you could just kind of sense the seasons up for them.
So I'm hoping often I'm sort of suck them into a shootout.
And we know Dortmund have got loads of great offensive players.
And they can easily get involved in that type of match.
And if it mattered, I think if it mattered more to both teams,
I would, this is why I would be massively on the over for serious stakes.
But, you know, one and a half units with the goal line at 3.25 feel sensible.
If we get three goals exactly,
then I'm only going to lose half this stake.
And I think that is the bare minimum we can expect.
You know, half and high this season, 20 out of 29 games have gone over two and a half goals.
Average goals per game, 3.4. Dortmund actually a bit lower on the goals list.
They have won a few matches to nil, but I don't see them winning this one to nil.
Often now we've got too much firepower.
So, yeah, it's a straightforward over for me.
I just hope Dortmund come to that party and do the dance as well.
This is also going to be one of my selections in the four leg parlay at the end,
but it's just going to be over two and a half goals in that.
So, it's watering it down, same with the event as earlier.
That's going to be just the event as money line for me in that four leg.
And two more coming from James there.
But hopefully the goals flow, often I'm Dortmund.
Yeah, just on Dortmund.
I think you've almost got to forget the seasonal stats as Steve was alluding to there
because they don't give the full pictures since the turn of the year they have been an over's team.
One and a half units on that plus 102 is the price I'm looking at at the moment for that one.
And you're on Berlin, Volkswagen Steve.
Next another Saturday, 930 game.
And you're on Berlin plus 115, Volkswagen plus 220.
Type plus 245.
You've been betting Volkswagen in the German top flight this season.
You've been losing a lot of money.
But you've found potentially some signs of life.
And obviously there's going to be a lot of focus on this game, Steve,
because of what's happened with Union Berlin and then you coach.
Yeah, I mean, this is a little, this is certainly a pick that not many people would expect me to have.
And I wouldn't blame people for not following me here because it would take a bit of bravery.
I think Wolfsburg can get a win.
And I'm going to back them just half a unit on the Tyno better plus 125.
They haven't won a game since the 14th of January.
But really, yeah, I mean, look, yeah.
Both teams have desperately struggled for wins.
Union Berlin have only had two wins in the league since the start of 2026.
And you know, that's probably the reason why they have got rid of their manager.
Stefan Baumgarno was shown the door after they lost 3-1 at Hydenheim last week.
I called that, didn't I?
Said Hydenheim would win after the first time in a long time.
So, you know, that's why he's been given the boot.
And, you know, it's interesting for Union Berlin that their, you know,
Earth's Fisher was there for over five years until 2023.
And since then, they are now on their sixth manager.
So it's, it's like you had that really stable period with Earth's Fisher.
And now it's been managers left right in center.
And they brought in Mary Louise Etter.
The first ever female head coach in the Bundesliga.
She's interim until the end of the season, but it's official.
Now, what, every single day on my timeline,
all I've seen is something related to her.
I mean, this is big news across not just the Bundesliga but Europe and Worldwide Soccer.
And, you know, there's loads of different opinions about it,
but whichever way you look at it, I think it's almost become a bit of a circus.
Like the amount of attention on this match now and on Union Berlin is through the roof.
And I'm not sure if it's a good thing for the players.
It's probably unfair on the new manager.
But, you know, when they're not really looking at the actual soccer element of it,
but I think it's a big distraction.
I've seen that before in the footballing world where something big happens like this.
And I think it can have a detrimental effect.
We just don't know. I'm theorizing here.
So I think Union Berlin can be opposed.
Let's, let's forget. They're not a great team anyway.
Wolfsburg need a win.
They're desperate for a win.
Data hacking hacking has come in former German Cup winner with them 10 years ago,
whatever.
They've not been out of the Bundesliga since 1997.
So, you know, this is, which would be quite a size, sizeable relegation.
A shock relegation, but they're really hanging by a thread at the minute.
They're desperate for a win.
And I've just got a feeling.
I think this is the time.
This is a great time.
They're not going to want to get beat.
Either are they really?
If they get beat here by Union Berlin, they're going to be more,
even more of a laughing stock than what they are.
So I think they're going to be fired up.
I think this Wolfsburg team.
I said I wouldn't back them until they show me something.
They were three goals to one up against by a leather goose recently.
They lost it six three.
But at least they showed something.
They're showing a few more goals recently.
Do I trust them fully?
No.
But I'm willing to have half a unit on them this week plus money on the Tyno bet
and take advantage of this potential circus in Union Berlin.
We've seen female coaches in France, James.
Haven't we?
Yeah.
Is it, can it be a distraction?
Yeah.
Well, it's a while ago now as well.
I looked this up before we came on the show.
And it's 12 years since Corrine Diac was the person in question,
became the first woman to coach a professional team in France.
Way back in 2014 she got the job at Claremont in France's second division.
It obviously made big news at the time.
I think what helped her was it was a fairly small club.
There wasn't a huge amount of focus on the French second division back in 2014 either.
And she was given plenty of time to do the job over a number of seasons.
She was at three seasons in the end.
So the first was obviously there at the start because it was the first time
a woman had managed a professional team in France.
It died down fairly quickly at that lower level of exposure in the French second division.
And she did it for me.
She did a very good job.
I think they had three fairly comfortable mid-table finishes,
which is what you would have expected from Claremont in the time that she was in charge.
And then she went on and managed the France women's team for I think five or six years.
So she's remained very high profile, but it got very quickly forgotten
and people treated it like they would treat any other situation with a manager change
within a couple of games really.
So slightly different because it was going back a long time,
social media pressure on football wasn't the same as it is today anyway.
And you know, in the French second division with a club that averaged three or four thousand fans,
it wasn't quite the same.
But she did a good job.
And I think at the end of it, after three years, it was probably right time for both of them to move on
and she got a big job in the women's games.
So slightly different circumstances.
But it can, I suppose, in those initial weeks, be a distraction.
Yeah, in a way, it's odd that we haven't seen more after that.
But we haven't.
There is going to be focus on Union Berlin this weekend.
We're always looking for betting angles.
Of course, Steve potentially has found a decent one there.
A couple of other German games to look at.
Freiburg Heidenheim is Sunday 930.
Freiburg minus 152.
Heidenheim plus 370.
The tie plus 300.
As you mentioned before, Heidenheim did serve you well on the goals markets last week.
Steve, but you did sort of throw in.
You fact that you think, yeah, that could easy with this one.
And they did.
This could be a good spot for them as well.
Potentially against a side that I've just qualified for the Europa League semifinals.
Well, first of all, I suppose I better start with an apology to Freiburg after the last two Thursdays.
I've rather dismissed them in the Europa League, haven't I?
And I do know there's a lot of people who watch these shows who've rated them quite highly.
So fair play.
They have done really well in Europa League, but I'm going to oppose them or sort of oppose them.
However, that's what you can.
Double it over.
I am known for mentioning my types of games and wissisms you call it on the Premier League show recently done.
This is a proper sandwich game for Freiburg because they are on the verge of winning a Cup double this season.
They could win Europa League and the DFB Pokal.
They've got a Pokal match coming up in midweek against Stuttgart.
And you know, if you look at where Freiburg are in the league, eighth place.
I mean, potentially that seventh could get conference now in Germany, but really they've got to be focusing on that Cup.
So I think they could be a little bit distracted.
And Haydenheim maybe can take advantage.
I'm going to back them on the team total goals over one and a half at plus 200 for half a unit because look, I said last week, they're going to.
They will go down swinging. They find random wins from nowhere.
This team never knows when it's beaten.
And I give them a chance again.
They're about the nearly five to one year down, four to one.
Sorry.
And I could see them actually getting a random victory.
You know, there are way records, not very good.
But this could be the opportunity, the worst away record in the league.
11 losses out of 14, one win.
But I'm calling it now, I think they could win the game.
I certainly think they can get two goals.
It's something that managed quite a bit recently.
Three three Tigers Stuttgart.
They lost four to against Hoffenheim.
Three three Tigers. Love a cousin.
Two to against Gladbach.
Three one win against Union Berlin.
What let's them down is defense really.
So you know, if they lose this six goals to two, I'm going to win my bet.
So I'm not worrying about their defense in this instance.
I just need them to score me two goals.
Plus 200.
A half a unit stake, high and high.
I think can yet again, spring is a price.
And we're going to wrap it with Germany with just a lean from Steven.
I'm glad it's just a lean.
I mean, I hope it wins, but I'm glad it's just a lean.
We've talked a lot, Steve, about buying this season.
We talked a lot about the goal line.
And we say, it's ridiculous.
Yeah, how on earth can you possibly start going, you know,
over four over four and a half?
And then we come to the conclusions.
Yeah, yeah, but you won't want to lay it though.
You won't want to bet against it.
Would you?
But you are this week.
Like here we are here because I think this match here.
Buying Stuttgart could be lower scores.
This is Buying Stuttgart 1130 Eastern Sunday gone.
I think this could be lower scoring than we think for a few reasons.
Stuttgart or both teams are looking ahead to the DFB.
I'll send me finals in midweek.
Buying, you know, just on the back of that Champions League win against Real Madrid.
And, you know, they could technically win the title here this weekend.
But really, for Buying, it's all about managing their top players, I think,
in the running to the end of the season.
How important is that Champions League?
How important is that DFB.
How he came was completely bench-rested last weekend.
No, is the same going to happen again.
And, you know, from a Stuttgart point of view, you know, for them,
they're in this race for the Champions League.
They've got the Pock Outer look forward to as well.
They would love a draw.
The goal line is at four on the Asian line.
I think under four goals, minus 129 would be the play here.
And do you know what I mean?
On 17 now.
Minus 117.
I'm looking even down the ladder a bit.
Not often I do that.
But yeah, under three and a half goals is plus 130.
Under two and a half goals is plus 320.
Again, the stats don't back it up to there with Bayern.
But I think this could be a lower tempo game than we expect.
And I don't think it's going to be the gung-ho sort of fixture that we've sometimes seen.
And by the way, the last eight head-to-head meetings between the two sides.
Only one of them has gone over four and a half goals.
Which actually happened earlier this season, where Bayern won five nil in Stuttgart.
But you know, you talk about these two teams down the years thinking a lot of goals.
A lot of the time it's either been three or four goals exactly.
So I think the chance to actually losing under four on the Asian is not as high as you think.
This is not an official bet in terms of a ping.
It's a lean.
It didn't quite have the balls to make it official.
But I just think watch out for a poorer, lower tempo.
If you're a goal sort of match, then everyone's expected.
Okay.
I believe you.
The heavy staking on the show continues next.
We go to France.
Liga Saturday night main game.
Five past three Eastern in the afternoon.
Leal minus one ninety five.
Nice plus five twenty five.
Time plus three ten.
James Leal are top of the six match form tables in France.
We're going very well at the moment.
Are we getting them on the side this week?
Yes, we are.
It's a one unit play for me on leal minus one on the Asian handicap, which is available at minus a hundred and twelve.
Because they're one of the teams at the moment in France who cannot wait to get out on the pitch and play their next game.
They're in such terrific form.
They had a fantastic win two games ago when they beat their local rivals.
They had to do our second three nil at home, which was probably their best performance of the season.
And then they followed up with a four-nil win a way to to lose last weekend.
A red card for to lose did play a part in that win.
But going forward, they were fantastic at times.
And right now, leal, as you said, down their top of the six game form table.
And they are playing the best football for me in France as well.
Those two things don't always marry up, but they do for me at the moment.
It's very hard to see, leal dropping points this weekend.
The race for top three, top four place in France, it's extremely tight.
Nobody can afford to ease off.
You've got four or five teams. They're separated by four points.
So everything to play for the mood in the camp is very good.
Their team news going into the game this weekend is very good.
Not the case for Nice, who are a down near the bottom of the table anyway.
And B not in great form.
I think they've lost five of their last eight.
Their top two midfielders are both ruled out this weekend as well.
Sanson and Bedouy would normally start for Nice in midfield.
That is a big loss combined.
Leaves them extremely vulnerable for me in the middle of the pitch.
So everything here points towards leal.
And I think the Asian handicap with a minus one go start is a great way to play it.
Because if leal were to win by only a single goal, you don't lose anything.
You'll get your stakes back.
If they go on a win by two goals or more, then you're going to make a profit.
So yeah, strong play on leal here.
One unit on the Asian handicap.
Steve putting a unit on top of that.
Got exactly the same bet.
I've got exactly the same workings out.
Do you need to see my sheet Richard?
Thanks, Carol.
But those who don't know doing a countdown reference, they use a TV program on.
Still going on in it in the UK.
Yeah, I think so.
Listen, I can't believe I'm saying it as well.
But leal now look the form team.
We never would have said that a few weeks ago.
The goals are flying in.
James was totally spot on the bottom last week against the lose.
He's not making the same mistake this time by not having them in as an official unit.
And I'm adding it minus one Asian handicap minus one 12 for another unit on top.
Just think one thing I want to highlight about Nice is just how poor their form is.
And the defense has been letting them down.
They're under a bit of pressure.
They've also got a couple semi final look for too.
I mean, I don't think they will be prioritising that cup semi at this point.
But nevertheless, it's something on the horizon, isn't it?
I think leal win quite convincingly here and probably to nil as well.
Strasbourg, Ren for Steve next.
And once again, an official unit on this one Sunday 9 a.m.
Strasbourg plus 148, Ren plus 155.
It's pretty much a pick and contest here.
Strasbourg with that brilliant win of our minds in the conference.
Lee to make the last four in mid week.
But they have to refocus for a visit of an informed rent sides.
What's the play here, Steve?
Well, there's been many times this season where we've had comments,
you know, on the on the show, even in live chat.
And some people have said, why didn't you get involved in the team title markets more?
Well, two picks this week for me on the team title markets,
because I'm going Ren to score over one and a half goals plus 110 for one unit.
I wanted to get with them in some way this weekend,
because this is another sandwich match for Strasbourg on the back of that.
Brilliant come back against a minds in the year conference league.
But they're also involved in the cup difference semi final, of course.
So, you know, it's one of those where they could be taking their eye off the ball a little bit,
maybe not quite at their best.
But at the same time, Strasbourg, I'm not a sort of team.
I want to oppose fully because they've always got goals in them.
They're in good momentum, good rhythm.
And the problem with Ren is and then it can't happen last week of it.
And it certainly happened against breast is that defense is just a bit too shaky at times.
You just, you never quite convinced they're going to keep a clean sheet.
But they do have a lot of goals in them.
They've got a lot of great offensive motions in this team.
I think they're a little bit lightweight physically sort of in midfield and defensively.
And that is what is costing them goals at the back.
So I'd rather just have to rely on their offense and their defense.
And, you know, look at recently the amount of goals they've been scoring.
They would beat nice 4-0, they'd be breast 4-3 away from home.
So we only need two goals from them here for this bet to cash.
And I think it's very doable against a Strasbourg team who, like I said,
could be a little bit flat in the middle of this sandwich.
I'm not saying Ren will win the game.
I think they'll win the game.
But if this ended like a 2-2 tie or something, it wouldn't surprise me.
I think we'll see quite a few goals.
I like the over as well.
But the goal line is more...
Wait, it's around about the three Asian line, isn't it?
But the goal line here, maybe 2.75.
But I just need two Ren goals and I'm caching.
I think they'll deliver that.
What should be a good game?
Yeah, I also think with team totals, and I did play them for a little while,
is that the bookmakers can just nick a bit more percentage in their favour.
I don't think they're as tight with the lines.
But I mean, look, you can still find value in it.
There's no doubt about that.
A couple of French leans from James before we get to the parlay.
James took us through Monaco, Ozer, first 9am Sunday here.
I mean, we were talking about Monaco last week,
and I just thought they were a really good bet last weekend.
Steve said, well, you know, the good runs got come to end at some stage,
and he did fairly spectacularly.
What's the play here, Monaco, to have another reversal to get back on it?
It is on Monaco here.
I'm backing them to get back into form after a heavy defeat last weekend.
It's a very similar play to my play on Leal.
Well, Steve and I are play on Leal.
It's Monaco minus one on the Asian handicap, which is at minus 110,
because you got a game here between a home side who are going for that top four place,
and an away side who are battling against relegation.
So it is a mismatch in terms of the longer-term form.
The reason it's just a lean from me rather than a one-unit play
is that game you're referencing from last weekend when Monaco went to Paris FC,
and they lost 4-1.
They got absolutely torn apart at times on the break by a brilliant Paris FC performance.
So it's just put a seed of doubt in my mind about Monaco,
because it was a shock to them as much as anything to lose that heavily.
They briefly got back into the game at 3-0 down when they made it 3-1,
but they couldn't push on from them.
They lost it 4-1 on the end, and so there's a few question marks
over how they will bounce back here.
I think it gives Augs Air a little bit of hope that if they park the bus
and frustrate Monaco, maybe they can get something.
So just a lean, but it's worth remembering that before that defeat last weekend,
Monaco had been the best team in league one recently.
I think they'd won seven in a row,
playing some really effective football going forward.
So they should get the win against the Nox Air side who are third from bottom,
not playing well.
I thought they were really poor themselves last weekend,
when they could only draw at home to Nantes,
who are one of the two teams below them in the table.
So there's no positives really about Augs Air,
but just a lean from me on Monaco,
because let's wait and see how they bounce back from that defeat last weekend.
And speaking of Paris FC,
they are away at mess on Sunday 11-15 AM Eastern,
and I think they started the season OK,
then they've had a fairly sort of long, dear Pavan,
but you referenced it before.
They are very much on the upward trajectory at the moment.
Do we side with them away at mess?
Yes, we do.
So it's again, it's just a lean here,
but it's on Paris FC to win the game on the money line at plus money,
just their plus 104,
as we're recording the show,
because they were brilliant last weekend in that win over Monaco,
and they're unbeaten now in six games since they changed their manager.
I think you have to say Antoine Cambuare,
who is a really experienced legal manager for more than two decades now,
has come in and done a brilliant job.
Since he was handed the Paris FC job,
with a brief to move them away from the relegation zone,
and that is exactly what he has done with three wins and three draws
in the six games since he took charge.
So the only question mark now against Paris FC
is that given that they're almost certain two finish in mid-table,
their relegation fears are almost over.
Do they ease off?
Do they see the win over?
Monaco last weekend is the high point,
and now they've got five games to go, and they don't worry so much.
I'm not so sure that will happen.
I think they're enjoying their football too much,
and Cambuare will keep pushing them,
because that's a sort of manager he is,
but just a slight doubt over Paris FC for that reason,
and that's why it's a lean rather than an official play.
But on Metz, they're bottom of the table,
they're winless now in 17 games.
I mean, they are almost down, and they're going to go down.
It's just a question of when.
They did their best last weekend when they lost three one at Marseille,
but there was a big difference in quality at times in that match.
And technically speaking, Metz do not look like a league one side,
you have to say.
So I can imagine them giving the ball away frequently here,
and Paris FC should get chances to hurt them.
So just a lean, but it wouldn't be a surprise at all
if Paris FC get another win this weekend.
A couple of lean from James there,
as you heard, Paris on the money line,
and Monaco minus one on the Asian line.
As we trailed right at the top of the show,
we have got a four game parlay for you.
James and Steve have collaborated well on live shows
over the course of this season,
and decided to put a four bet parlay together
for your pleasure, half a unit official.
It's going on the spreadsheet.
And Steve, what are your two picks here?
Well, yeah, do you know what?
Just thinking about it, we talk so much
on the shows over the years about,
oh, we'll string together this parlay,
and it never goes down as official, does it?
But it does now.
So my two legs of the parlay,
Juventus money line,
when I've already got them as my biggest stake of the week.
So technically, I could lose those two Asian line bets,
but win with them in this four-legged,
because it's just needed them on the money line.
It's a minus 240.
It makes sense for me to add them to Beepalonia,
and then I had to go with my other strongest pick.
Often I'm Dortmund.
This time, on the over two and a half gold line,
minus 205, I don't think there's anything wrong with that
if you want a really big bet on a simple over two and a half gold line.
By the way, minus 205 looks good.
So yeah, that's my two parts of the parlay.
James has gone a bit bigger with a couple of his selections,
and eventually we're going to get to push for 31.
James?
Yeah, so the first of my two legs is on leal on the money line.
I've obviously already backed them on the Asian handicap,
but just putting them in the parlay on the money line,
which is available at minus 195.
And my second leg is a new pick,
one that I haven't had on the show.
It's on over 2.5 goals in the game
between Lorion and Marseille.
In France, I did flag up back in March that the final seven or eight match days
in France tend to be higher scoring.
You would have made a profit over the last couple of seasons if you backed
over 2.5 goals in all games in league one over the final eight match days.
So I've picked out the game that I think has got the best chance
of going over in league one this weekend.
It's Lorion versus Marseille, which is available as a single
in the over 2.5 goals market at minus 155.
Great stuff.
The parlay pays plus 431 as it stands at the moment as Steve suggested.
You've got to get, if you're following us with a parlay,
you've got to get your bets on ahead of the Hoffenheim Dortmund game
because that is 930 AM Eastern on Saturday.
So Steve's going to kick off the parlay effectively.
Then it will be rolling on to James's two picks.
The Lorion Marseille game is 11 AM on Saturday Eastern
and the Leal game is...
What is that?
That's Saturday night, isn't it?
Yeah, 305.
And so if James's two picks come in,
it will all be rolling on to Steve Juventus Moneyline.
No pressure Sunday.
All on Juventus.
It always comes down to Juventus this season, doesn't it?
It's sort of written, isn't it?
So yeah, it's going to be exciting.
Let us know if you're telling along.
