On April 2nd, Westminster City Council just filed for a burrow-wide injunction to shut

This move, backed by neighboring Kensington and Chelsea, ramps up powers way beyond the
current 100-pound fines from public space's protection, orders.
Counselor Rachel Robothon, from Knightsbridge and Vellgravia, led the charge, thrilled
the application hit the courts last week but wondering why it, dragged on so long under
the current leadership.
They've already hit drivers with 356 fixed penalty notices this financial year, including
54 on Exhibition Road alone, and reports show fewer meets popping up lately.
Anti-skid surfaces roll out on Exhibition Road this April, teaming with police to keep
clamping down and make these roads safe for everyone once more.
