Fast returns are tempting. Builders are rare. Every lesson—good or painful—came down to who was in the room.

And at the center of it all was his dad, Sam—who built from nothing and passed down one rule that still drives everything:

You don't have to be smarter than everyone… but you can outwork anyone.
