Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney recently unveiled a new industrial policy -- Buy Canadian – as the Washington and Ottawa try to sort out their trade tensions. It’s a protectionist move that mirrors the Trump administration’s Buy American strategy and comes as President Donald Trump’s tariffs have hit Canada’s manufacturing sectors.
