In this episode, I’m excited to bring you my conversation with Dr. Porter, an expert in peptides and Chronic Inflammatory Response Syndrome (CIRS). This is an eye-opening discussion, especially if you’ve been dealing with things like fatigue, brain fog, or just not feeling like yourself and haven’t been able to find clear answers.
We talk about CIRS and how it comes back to chronic inflammation in the body. Dr. Porter explains how so many common symptoms we experience are actually connected to this ongoing inflammatory response and how our immune system, gut health, and overall wellness are all deeply linked.
We also dive into peptides—what they are and how they work as signaling molecules in the body. I loved how he broke this down in a simple way. Peptides basically help cells communicate and regulate different functions in the body.
And something I really appreciated from this conversation is Dr. Porter’s reminder that foundations matter most. Before anything else, we have to focus on the basics—eating an anti-inflammatory diet, managing stress, and prioritizing good sleep. Peptides can be supportive, but they’re not a replacement for those core lifestyle pieces.
I think you’re really going to love this episode. It’s practical, empowering, and gives a new way to look at chronic health challenges. Let me know what you think after you listen.
