Well, come to the untold, take it deep breath, take the higher road, that's why they always say, as if they know the way, they won't take it from me.
But don't ever doubt yourself by swiping just a drain, you made your own so kick and scream.
The people will lie with a never-ending force, you never have the chance, so watch your waiting for it.
This is called my friend, cause this is what.
It's time and this is what.
Today we're going to talk about something that honestly feels bigger than just healthcare.
We're talking about generational health. We're talking about freedom.
And we're talking about what happens when ordinary people decide they are no longer willing to sit quietly, while truth is filtered, manipulated, and packaged into neat little three-minute soundbites.
Because let's be honest, that's the world that we've been living in.
A world where complex medical decisions are reduced to headlines, where experts are paraded across screens, many of them funded, influenced or outright controlled by the very systems they are supposed to be holding accountable.
And some are along the way we stopped asking questions, or worse we were told that we weren't allowed to.
But something shifted in 2020, people started waking up, nurses started speaking out, doctors started risking everything, and families started saying, wait a second, something doesn't feel right, and out of that awakening movements were born.
One of those movements is what we're talking about today, the Global Health Freedom Summit.
And this isn't just another conference. This is a gathering of truth seekers, practitioners, families and freedom-minded individuals who are done outsourcing their health and their future.
And I have to say, what they've built is nothing short of remarkable.
You're listening to the Nurses Report on America Out Loud Talk Radio. I'm your host, Nurse Kimberly Overton.
Before we get started today, I do want to encourage our listeners, if you have questions or comments, or perhaps you want to share your own experiences with what you're seeing on the front lines of healthcare, you can now submit those to us directly by emailing us at nursesatamericaout Loud.News.
We would love to hear from you. We encourage all of you to engage in the battle and find your voice in this fight, but until you're able to do that, we will continue to be that voice for you.
Joining me today is someone who has been on the front lines of this movement for years.
Dr. Jared Oxendorf is a chiropractor with nearly two decades of clinical experience, and he's been a strong and consistent voice in advancing health freedom, informed consent and parental rights.
Three pillars that are more important now than ever before. He's the founder of the Freedom Summit, which he launched back in 2018, long before these conversations became mainstream.
And his mission has always been clear. To create a space where truth can be explored, questions can be asked, and families can make informed decisions without pressure or coercion.
In addition to running his private practice, Dr. Jared has served on numerous U.S. national teams, as well as the University of Minnesota and North Star Christian Academy.
So his work spans not just clinical care, but performance, leadership, and mentorship as well.
But beyond all of that, he is a devoted husband, a father, and a man of faith, a follower of Jesus, who is deeply committed to serving families and communities with integrity and compassion.
Dr. Jared, it's such an honor to have you here today. Welcome to the show.
Kimberly, thank you so much for having me on the nurses report. I am really excited about our conversation that needs to take place.
It's a perfect place. God always places us in perfect places at the right time in order to have the right conversations in order to help people just move forward wherever they're at.
And we try to meet them where they're at and ultimately just build them. So I'm looking forward to today's conversation and ultimately just bringing truth to your listeners and across the world.
Hey, man. Dr. Jared, if you want to just take us back to the beginning, what led you to start the Freedom Summit in 2018? Again, that's before most people were even having these conversations.
Yeah, that's a great question. We get that question quite a bit. And it also ultimately started as our vaccine awareness event as what it was originally called.
As a chiropractor, I'd been seeing multiple injured kids of vaccines come into my practice. And over the course of years, we started hosting a lot of these vaccine consent type events within my four walls of my chiropractic office.
And then when we started to see a bigger need, we ultimately branded out and branched out and saying, okay, let's let's bring in some of the leading experts around the world around the country to Minnesota and ultimately have a great conversation in and around vaccine awareness and vaccine consent.
And so in 2018, we launched that we had Dell big tree, Mary Toco and one of our favorite pediatricians, Dr. Bob Zajak here in Minnesota come to the event and ultimately we had 2000 people in the house and it was absolutely eye opening and I think heartfelt for many people across the across the world. And you know, we we tape that and it was I didn't know that there was such a need for people to understand what vaccines were on the childhood schedule.
And at the time, there was no side of COVID, right? There is nothing with the COVID vaccine or, you know, any of these tyranny things that we've seen over the last, you know, five, six years.
And so as we went into the 20 and 19 and 2020, we realized we had to pivot a little bit because not only are our health freedoms were being infringed upon, but ultimately our religious freedoms and our constitutional rights were being infringed upon quite a bit as well.
And so that's when we pivoted in 2020 to more of the freedom summit, which has now branched out and done amazing, amazing things and we've had awesome people across our stage over the last six years.
You know, I mentioned Dell big tree. We've had Andy Wakefield. We've had Mickey Willis. We've had Sherry Tenpenny, Dr. Northrup and the list goes on and on and it's nothing short of miraculous of what God's done with this movement and ultimately getting the word out to people to just continue to help support where they're at.
But also give truth and understanding maybe in their early walks of figuring out what vaccines are and what they're doing not only to us, but also our children.
Yeah, I think that's amazing. And I will say I as a nurse who is fairly new to the fight having really been awoken in 2020 with COVID and all of that that happened.
I will say I just have so much respect for those of you who have been in this fight taking this, you know, the all the slings and arrows for decades, you have been screaming from, you know, the rooftops about these children that have been injured and you've all been gas lit and just completely ignored.
So I have so much respect for all of you who have been in this space and everybody that you mentioned who I've been blessed to meet over these last few years. I mean, these are absolute heroes.
So to have an opportunity to to get in a place where you can watch them from the stage where you can interact with them. I can't I can't recommend that enough because you will you will hear so many amazing stories and again, these people have been in the fight for decades.
So, you know, God bless you for all the work that you're doing. You talk about your work centering around these three pillars of health freedom, parental rights and informed consent. Why these three, how are these three connected in your mind?
So, you know, when you look at the parental rights and informed consent, there's there's a couple of different things that come with that. One is you look at the mandates that are coming down many different house representatives, the Senate's and state legislation.
Not in not only at a state level, but also at a federal level that are that are constantly being, you know, infringed upon as far as our freedom as far as a parental right. I mean, I'm a firm believer that the parent knows better than the government on how to manage their children and manage their family.
And when the government steps into a family to destroy a family unit, there's there's a problem and there's a line that needs to be drawn and families need to stand up and understand like what is.
Is what is their rights and where do they stand? And this is, this goes on both sides of the aisle too. When you look at it, Kimberly, it's not just the people that maybe don't want to vaccinate, but also people that do want to vaccinate or want to put this stuff into their kids.
They also have to understand that by thinking this is a right thing to do, they're allowing more government into their life and there be a time where maybe they don't want to wear a red dress and the government's going to mandate them to wear a red dress type of thing, right.
As soon as you open this door of this legislation to start coming in and creeping into homes, it opens the door for so much more regulation and so many more bills and laws to be passed.
And so you look at the very easy steps about how parental rights are being stripped away every single year from different organizations and different states, whether it's, again, at a more of a county level or more of a state level or even at a federal level.
And when you look at informed consent, I truly believe that, you know, if parents were given the full consent of what vaccines could potentially do to their child or what's in them, you know, those are the big questions that, you know, are very, are very much so infringed upon when you, when you talk about informed informed consent because there's a lot of parents out there that just get one side. They don't get both sides. They don't hear, you know, the damage that can be done. They don't understand maybe a lot of the adjuncts or maybe a lot of the, the fillers that are in there.
The fillers that are in these vaccines and they have no idea maybe about the percentage about, you know, the neurological damage or cognitive damage or maybe it's even skin issues and allergies and everything else that comes from a lot of these vaccines that we're seeing in kids. And so those are the two things that how they mesh together is one as a parental right into understanding what they can be done. And then having the overall arches of a parent to say no.
And no, I don't want that stuff going into my child. No, I don't want it to go into myself either. And so that's the way that we mesh those two and really, you know, in power parents to get the understanding form a new foundation, get a strong foundation so that when you do get question or chorus or poster, whatever it may be by your medical doctor or a pediatrician that you have the foundation to fall back on so that you can stand in that in that conversation strongly and confidently.
A lot of times people if they don't have that confidence behind what they're talking about, well, they crumble and then they ultimately succumb to that vaccine or that childhood vaccine that maybe they didn't want.
And a lot of times mom is intuition is so powerful and so right on, but they maybe don't have that strength to really say no in that situation.
And then they actually have a lot of regrets after after doing it. And we see that a lot in our practices from a lot of the mom is that, you know, start to start to learn about what these vaccines do and they understand like, OK, I'm seeing these things in my child and a lot of these outward behaviors are seeing skin issues and allergies and could that have been from the from the vaccine and, you know, absolutely it could be.
And so they have a lot of that remorse and regret, but then we have to also stay, OK, this is where we're at, you can't have that regret. We have to just move forward and healing this child or healing yourself or whatever it may be.
And so that's kind of where we stand as far as empowerment of parents and ultimately the people of this country so that they understand what's going on and how we're being coerced into taking all these these poisons basically.
Yeah, I think that's so true. There is such a lack of education and lack of awareness about what is even in these vaccines or what they are. And I will say this I've been in health care for nearly 30 years and people think that parents, especially they think that doctors and nurses are educated.
Well, let me tell you the only education that we receive on vaccines is safe, effective and necessary. And here's the vaccine schedule. That's what we know. And I, you know, this is something that 2020 really forced me to take a closer look at everything and I had to ask myself because I was very pro vaccine my entire life and nursing career.
And I had to stop and ask myself why we don't look Kimberly, why are you so pro vaccine and that that answer really shame to me to admit that it was because I was told to be.
And that's, you know, and I tried to give myself grace and I tell others that they, you know, we have to give ourselves grace for what we didn't know at the time when we know better, we're called upon to do better.
And I think that's what we're all out here doing now.
But people are under the impression that these doctors and nurses that they're out there doing all of this independent research. And again, I've been in this system for 30 years.
The system is not designed to allow doctors to the time to do the kind of research. So I think just in general that lack of education and awareness is is so prevalent and it's so important that we get the word out there.
I am really Dr. Jared. I'm in the firm belief that we are all vaccine injured on some level and we just not connected the dots.
As you mentioned things like skin issues and autoimmune conditions.
I truly believe we've just been conditioned to believe that chronic illness is just part of life.
Yeah, I truly believe that. And you know, we see that it's, you know, it's common, but it's not normal. Right. And that's what I tell a lot of patients in the office is that, you know, it might be common.
But it's not normal. And you go back 20 years, 30 years. And I look back to even my high school and elementary school days and I go, OK, in a special ed class, like how many kids were actually in that room. Right. And there was maybe like three or four, maybe five.
And now you have classroom upon classrooms of these injured kids. And so there's something going on in environment. There's something going on with what we're putting into the air into our vaccines into our water, whatever it may be.
There's, there's something going on that's causing our kids to become more and more neurologically and more neurodevelopmentally compromised.
And that's a big, a big thing that we need to start looking into. And I think that, you know, with the new administration, you start looking at Bobby Kennedy and some of his work that he's doing.
We're starting to see that. We're starting to see some of these things become unraveled more people asking questions.
You mentioned in your, in your intro, about the nurses and the nurses have seen this because the nurses are the front lines. They're the ones that are, that are, you know, doing a lot of the vaccines a lot of time.
So they see the injuries. They see a lot of this. And maybe they, they questioned it before. But since COVID, we've seen a huge awakening across the medical profession, whether it's nurses, whether it's PAs and physician assistance, even some MDs that are starting to speak out and come out more than, then what they were against just the childhood vaccine schedule.
Now they're on this rampage about, okay, this, this COVID vaccine is absolutely destroying people causing more cardiomyopathy, more heart issues, more strokes.
And so these are things now that we're seeing across the board. And so, you know, your nurses are definitely on that front line. And they're the ones that can really empower, you know, families and moms and dads on that informed consent.
And so hopefully they continue to speak out, stand firm in their, in their stances and allow parents to make informed consent decisions, because that's how we're going to change.
Ultimately, how are kids are developing? And you, you mentioned a term, this generational health. Well, what's generational health going to look like in 10 years? What's going to look like in 20 years? What's it going to look like in 30 years? If we continue on the trend that we're on right now, we have one of the sickest nations in the world, right? And our kids get sicker and sicker every single year.
To the point where, you know, most of our kids, like 50% of the kids won't even make it the military right now. And so, you know, a lot of the military standards. And you see that if we continue to, you know, have these problems, like, how do you fund a police force? How do you get a fire fighting team together?
How do you build a military to protect the country? If we continue to see more and more injured people, these are the concerns that I have, you know, as I look at the grand scale of things as we, as we look to the future.
And that's one of the reasons that we, that we host the, the freedom summit to really empower people to get the knowledge that they, that they need in order to be advocates within their community and especially within their families to form true generational health.
Yeah. And I think if there was a silver lining to COVID and I believe that there was, I think that it is that so many people have been awakened to what's been happening for far too long now.
Some people like as yourself have seen it from long before, but as we start to wake up, there's just more and more opportunity to really save the future generations of children.
I think we have one in 131 children are now affected by autism. I do believe it's multifactorial. I don't believe it's only the vaccines. I certainly think that is a huge contributing factor.
But it is also the food, the, whatever they're spraying in the air, the water we drink, everything that comes into play here. So it's, it's not just the vaccines, but certainly that is a big driving force for what's been happening.
And I'm glad that so many more people are starting to recognize what's happening so that we can change course. This is so important.
Because it really is, I mean, there's a, again, there's a time in every, in every nation's history where there's a pivot point that takes place in order to see what road they go down next.
And you know, we've seen more destruction, more injury, more obesity, more disease and chronic illness, not only in our adults, but also our kids.
And so what road are we taking, you know, going forward from here? That's the question that every listener should be asking, like what are my choices?
Because every day that I choose to do something, whether it's read a book, get in a positive mindset, follow negative people, whatever it is, I have a choice every second of every day to either go left or to go right, right?
I mean, these are, these are just decisions that we can make. And our choices, our small little choices can add up to something great, or they can add up to something to be totally destructive. And so that's kind of the place that I truly believe that we're, we're at as a nation right now.
We made have a few short years, you know, look at the again, the administration that's in there and trying to make big moves, bold moves in our health and wellness and in our societies.
And what happens if that, if that, you know, if that movement, that political movement and stance right now goes away, right into in three years, if it's gone and it doesn't continue, we have a short window to really make a lot of change into an empower a lot of people.
Within these next three years, and I think it's, it's, it's crucial. It's crucial that more conversations like you have on your show happen. I think it's crucial, like the freedom summit that more people may be put on some more, more events. And again, just continue to wake up America and hopefully we don't go back into a slumber.
You know, like we were pre-COVID and because I thought a lot of people were waking up during COVID, there was a lot of people speaking out about, you know, the masking or the vaccines and the mandates and everything else that were happening.
But now I feel like we've almost lost a little bit that energy and people are kind of going back into slumber. And so we encourage people to get engaged with things like your, your podcast.
We encourage people to, you know, obviously come out to the, the freedom summit, whether it's in Texas here in a few weeks or whether it's up in Minnesota or maybe even somewhere, you know, across the globe someday.
But these are the ways that you can join and you don't have to be in there in person. I mean, get on a virtual thing.
Listen to your podcast and your car. There's all sorts of ways to become a better and stronger advocate for yourself and, and for your community.
It's not just, you know, showing up to these events. In fact, you know, we encourage people to show up at the events because when you do, there's an energy in the room.
And I don't know if you've ever been to a huge event Kimberly, but there's something different about being in a room with 2,000 like-minded people
versus listening to something by yourself and your car and a podcast. I mean, both are powerful, but there's, there's just that energy that you get of that camaraderie that you, that you feel when you're in that room of like-minded people.
And so that's why we always encourage people to come to these live events versus just virtual things.
Oh, there, there truly is nothing like it. I can't remember when I first got my start when I first started Nurse Freedom Network, which was back in July of 2021.
The first big event that I ever spoke at was I defeat the mandates in DC. And I can, I can remember just being there on this, you know, I spoke in DC and then we spoke again.
We had to feed the mandates in LA. So we took it right to the belly of the beast out there. And I can remember just being on the stage and looking out and there's thousands of people out there.
And I mean, the energy that you feel from yes, from being around these like-minded people, it's absolutely electric. And it just, you know, I started speaking out events really early on and I would get on stages with 20 people and then had been on stages with thousands of people.
But my purpose of getting up there and speaking out was to hopefully encourage others to know that it was okay to do the same.
Because there was, you know, there was no way. I, you know, I left my job as an ICU nurse because I saw what was happening to my patients. I saw what was happening in this, it's a sick care system. Let's, let's just be honest.
Let's be right.
I mean, I, I never, I've always known that they've put profits over people. I've known that for decades. But I never really understood what was happening.
I sat there and watched my patients be medically murdered for profit. I didn't think we were there. But that's, and I haven't found a nice way to sugarcoat that either.
I don't think there isn't any way to sugarcoat it. I mean, it's the truth. And it's exactly what they did. And it's, and it's very, very sad that our own government would do that for profit over people. It's just, it's terrible.
Exactly. But yeah, I encourage, I highly encourage everybody. If you have the, the ability, whether to get there in person is, there's nothing like it. If you can't do that, then certainly get on and watch these virtual events.
And, you know, eventually you'll be able to get there to these, these in person events and make these connections because there's truly nothing like the network opportunities alone are incredible for you to get involved at a local level.
It is so important that we are all getting involved in, and being the change that we want to see in the world.
But we talked a little bit. Yeah, and people really want to check it out. They can go to www.wellnessmyway.org. That's wellnessmyway.org. And they'll see a lot more about our in person event. But also how to get connected virtually.
And for your listeners today, Kimberly, what we've also done too is on that website, we provided a free, a free gift to the people. So what we've done is we've actually taking a lot of our conversations that we've had at some of our events over the past years. We made a mini series.
And this mini series is literally, it's a six part mini series that we're going to give away for free to your listeners. They just need to go to the website and sign up for the free gift.
And it's literally Dr. Bob Zajak. He's our pediatrician hero here in Minnesota. He was speaking out about childhood vaccines far before this COVID thing even, even, even hit. And now he's on the standpoint of health freedoms and informed consent.
He would be an awesome person on your podcast someday. I'd highly recommend Dr. Bob Zajak. But he talks in that mini series. He talks about how to create healthy families on a budget. And then you have Dr. Larry Palewski. I'm sure you know Dr. Larry.
Larry is absolutely a firecracker. I love Larry. But he talks about secrets of boosting natural immunity. Dr. Sherry Tenpenny is part of that mini series. She's going to talk about your vaccines and food. Believe it or not, we can talk about that in a little bit as well.
But how they're starting to vaccinate our food and food sources and how that's actually affecting us. Dr. Peter McCullough up and coming obviously hero since the COVID, you know, protocols, despite proteins.
But he's going to talk about proof about the global medical cover up in that mini series. And then we have Dalbertry and Sherry Tenpenny again, the power of zeolites and better way of longevity.
So that's a great little mini series that people can go out. They can check us out. They can see what we put on. Maybe the content that we that we share with people.
How do we host our events? What do we do? So it gives them a little bit more insight about just not only coming out to the event, but maybe joining us virtually as well as we get into our May 2nd event down in Dallas, Texas.
Amazing. And you know, I will say this. There's often a lot of criticizing or criticism around these types of events.
People will say, Oh, well, they're just they're doing it for the money. Let me tell you something. I have I put on events. Okay, I have put on several events. Let me tell you there's no money in these events that you are often in the in the red.
You're lucky if you can even I've come out of my own pocket, putting together events many times.
So, but there's a lot of criticism. They're like, Oh, it's just a cash cow. It's just you have no idea what it takes to put these types of events on between the venue and the travel you've got to compensate your speaker, all of the things.
It's it's it's a ridiculous when I hear people saying things like that. But how do you respond to people who dismiss the movement or leave it just negatively?
Yeah. And so you always ask I always like to ask questions, right? And find out why do people kind of stand in that position or why did they have that belief for whatever it may be because they might run try to run the numbers backwards.
Like, Oh, you're selling, you know, $40 tickets to 2000 people. It's $80,000. Right. And well, in exactly what you just said. So I run the numbers backwards with them and just say, Okay, well, we have 15 speakers.
Here's their honorariums. Here's their travel expenses. Here's their hotel fees. Here's their rental cars. Here's their food and their services. This is what it costs to rent the venue. This is what it costs to rent out a lot of the cleaning and security that we that we hosted our events.
This is what we pay out for our DJ. This is what we have for our live streaming service. This is what we pay for our marketing services. This is and so you just go down the list. And like you said, pretty soon you're far past 80,000 and you're you're more like 100 120 150 and it just continues to climb. And so you're absolutely right. This is where, you know, we look for sponsorships to kind of keep our prices low.
Because we do want to keep our prices very affordable for anybody to come to our event. There are some events that charge and, you know, an ungodly amount to attend their to attend their events.
And but it but it might be worth it to that person, right. You look at it. What's the value? What are they putting on? Is it a one day event? Is it a four day event?
You know, so you have to break down that cost and expense of over four days, too, of what that ticket prices. We try to generally keep our ticket prices anywhere from, you know, $35 all the way up to $65, $70 for our general admission. And then we have a fast track.
You a ticket that ranges anywhere from 90 to usually about 120 150. And that helps people pass the line. They get, you know, certain seating within the venue. And then you have your VIP stuff that can range anywhere from, you know, sometimes it's 175 sometimes we charge 300 depends on again the venue.
What we're doing for the lunch for the catering, the meeting greet aspects of what we're doing. So those are all again all that goes into the cost of those ticket prices. And listen, I'm not in it to make money. We're in it to make it basically basically get this information out.
My heart and passion is to help families grow become stronger and ultimately more settled in their conversations so that they don't get coerced and have regrets of things that I've seen with a lot of my patients and a lot of my parents coming through my office because that breaks my heart more than anything.
When a parent says, you know, had I would know and had I have known this, I wouldn't have done that. And that is one of the hardest statements to swallow as a healthcare provider or as a chiropractor, especially where we're supposed to teach well as we're supposed to teach about the essentials of how it is supposed to be well.
And me as a chiropractor, I can't tell somebody to vaccinate or not vaccinate because it's not part of my scope of practice. But at the same time, I can also have the conversation about, hey, do you know what's in them? Here's a resource thing, go check this out, do that.
And speaking out with them because the last thing I want to hear again is, man, had I been knowing that I wish I went to done that. And that's one of the things that breaks my heart and that's one of the things that drives us in our mission and vision about helping people and families create better health and longevity and vitality going forward.
Exactly. We need to take every opportunity that we can to help educate and make people more aware. I wish that I had, you know, more education when when my son was growing up, you know, I wish I didn't know as a very young mother and I had to rely on doctors and who again, didn't probably didn't know better themselves.
But we're up against a break, but when we come back, we'll dive a little bit deeper into these really, really important topics. Thank you so much.

If you're just joining us I've been talking with the founder of global health freedom summit doctor Jared oxen door let's jump right back in.
Doctor Jared thank you again so much for being here and for just this incredible conversation so important much needed.
Yeah the first half was amazing so encourage a people are happening halfway through if they scroll forward go back and listen to some of that great conversation that we had in the beginning and ultimately looking forward to another great second half discussing health freedoms and freedom summit and ultimately learning more about your nurse organization and how nurses are becoming more and more empowered speaking up and ultimately stepping out to protect informed consent and health freedoms as well.
Yeah you know it's been it's been such a journey and I'm so excited and I I hope that we continue to see more people kind of stepping out and creating these alternative models of care because it's so so necessary.
The unfortunate thing is that so many people are trapped right in that sick care system and they have no way out.
I started running healthcare as a vision really started with a vision I had absolutely no resources we we built this up from vapor so I'm really really proud of what we've been able to create.
But it's so important and I hope more people are going to start looking at these alternative models of care because honestly the only way.
That we are going to be able to help people is if it's unfortunate like the standard of care is being met in this country that's not the problem and the problem is that the standard of care is so disgustingly low I say that all the time and we need to.
Have alternatives for people that's the only way that they're going to be held accountable and have to raise their standards.
Yeah and I think that you're absolutely right I feel like people are they feel stuck right they don't have options they don't have they don't maybe know their choices of where they can go or what they should do or.
You know where do I turn to and it might be a start where they you know are in this medical model this broken healthcare system this sick care model a management of disease system is basically what it is and how do they go from that point to more of a wellness care model and that's that's a big big question and we get that.
All the time and you know a lot of times people end up doing both at the same time right and so instead of just quitting your medical doctor which would be awesome to do and I you know it'd be I'd kindly encourage it to find maybe a medical doctor outside of your typical system or your your healthcare hospital maybe they're in private practice and they can make own their own decisions.
We have an organization here in Minnesota it's called new kingdom and new kingdom health care is run by doctor Bob Zazak and so we have an amazing resource that we can refer people to and and feel like they're going to get informed consent and they're not going to be curious and they're not going to be pressured into a system.
So look for those systems wherever you are at whatever state you're in there's more medical doctors coming away from your typical hospital system forming their private practices because again they've seen the tyranny they've seen the medical breakdown they've seen the sick care model.
And they're tired of it and they're burnt out and they're tired of you know potentially even hurting people with some of the recommendations that come down from the top of the hospital and so that's that's one of the big things that that we encourage people to look into in order to step away from just treating right your sickness and just managing your sickness you're you're not living right and one of the conversations that we have with a lot of patients is like have you ever thought about growing to the age of 90 yet losing your life at 70 right and so I'm going to say that I'm not going to be able to do that.
Right and so I've never met anybody who wants to lose the ability to live at 70 but live to 90 right everybody wants to live full of life full of vitality full light everything going to 90 years old but the problem is is we're seeing so much sickness and disease in our country and people are losing their life at about 65 and they don't live to God's potential they they feel less than they might feel the lack of energy they feel depressed and anxious and we have all these things that are going on with our people of our country right now and they're wondering like we're going to
where do we go how do we get you know out of the situation and standpoint that we're in and start moving towards more of a vitality and holistic type of model and so I encourage you know people to start looking into that in their in their own communities you know max living offices new kingdom offices nurses that are in and around your organization and maybe they branched away into private practice as well those are great places to start you know as far as when you're looking to exit the sick care system.
Yeah absolutely and that's and that's one of the biggest reasons that I started running healthcare was because as an I was an ICU nurse and as an ICU nurse one of the most depressing things and this is pre-COVID even was just the way that we would see people coming in and we were just managing their disease we were not doing anything to get anybody well in the sick care system and it's depressing they come in we manage them they they go home they come back and we're doing the same thing over and over again but we're seeing no improvement and
people and I thought to myself there has got to be a better way and and there is a better way and that's why you know we started gathering all of these nurses we get them trained in functional medicine with root cause let's get to you know what is how what is the root cause of this illness and eradicating it and our what we always say is we are trying to just guide people to their highest and healthiest potential because that's what life is all about is as you mentioned people are losing their life.
whether they live to be 90 or 100, they're losing their life at an early age, and it's just so sad and disheartening.
And to think as nurses that we are somewhat a part of that is we're handing out these recommendations that are actually harmful to patients.
That was my vision not only to be able to present health and wellness to patients, but also to create opportunities for nurses to be able to thrive outside of this broken and
an oppressive sick care system. And so we're just so blessed with the growth that we've had. So again, I think more people need to get out and step out into these models.
Yeah, there's so much to it, right? When you look at vitality, you look at escaping the system. We talked earlier today about just the environment and how the environment impacts somebody's health and longevity.
And longevity and the environment includes, like you said, the air that we breathe, the water, the food that we're eating, our exercise, our mental clarity.
We talk a lot about the nervous system and taking care of the nervous system, the spinal cord, as a chiropractor, removing the interference to the nervous system is obviously key point.
And then how do we continue to remove the toxins that our bodies are constantly getting bombarded with? And those are the kind of the pillars that we stand on in our office and ultimately in a longevity and vitality model.
You mentioned a lot more about functional medicine. And this is a new thing that's really new to me. And I've been learning more about it, which is really cool.
Doing more testing in the office to find out metabolic pathways and ultimately where people are broken in their systems. And how do you continue to build them up?
I'm a true believer that you have to supplement potentially in the beginning to get the pathways right, maybe to pull toxins out.
But then at the same time, we have to teach them how are you supposed to eat, right? Because eating and eating properly, you should be able to get almost all your foods are all your nutrition from your food.
Everything that God put on the face of the earth, you know, can do great things for us if we eat them the right way and do things synergistically together to build the body back up.
But there's a time in a place I believe for supplementation and for detox and keylators and binders.
But there's also a time in a place where we got to also be disciplined enough to eat the right way, follow a right recommendations of a meal plan and nutrition plan in order to get out of where we've created ourselves become.
Because I truly believe like a lot of the chronic illnesses people are actually creating them in their own lives by the choices that again we make on a daily basis.
Definitely, I mean, we the nutrition in this country, the standard American diet and sad is what it is with the acronym is quite correct is very sad.
But I think also, you know, we this sick care system, it really is about creating customers and they do that from the very beginning it starts with that first needle.
And if you think about all of the children that go in, how many diagnoses now of ADHD do we have and they put all of these children, they over diagnosed that they put all of these children on these medications that really just cut it starts a cascade and a domino effect of just just so much disease and despair.
And we see it over and over and over again and it's just it's so heartbreaking so it's so important.
And I think it all starts with that foundational nutrition and educating parents on how to how to eat correctly how to eat whole food.
We have to move away from these processed foods and there's so much that can be done.
That's why I think it's so important that we have the guidance and the education available to people.
Yeah, it's one of those things where it's hard to and I get it a lot of parents and a lot of families have fallen into certain lifestyle patterns, certain lifestyle habits.
Their kids eating habits, their kids taste buds, they all have you know fights and it's like what battle do you choose as a parent like where do I want to pick my battles today is it in my food is it in my sleep is it in trying to get them to go to school or do homework.
But these battles are you got to remember that even though they're hard battles, they're worth it battles.
They're worth it in a way of making sure that your child grows up and doesn't have diabetes. It's it's worth it in a way that your child is growing up and they don't have heart disease.
It's worth it in a way that your your child's growing up and they don't have anxiety and depression because we're destroying the gut flora.
These are important decisions and important battles that parents have to realize no matter how hard they are, they're worth it and they're worth it in the end in the child might not understand it the moment but they'll definitely appreciate it as a age and they're not going down.
A managed sick care system they're not riddled with the diabetes or heart disease or cancers as they grow old because of the sugar content or the dies and the colorings that we're that we're putting into our kids.
These are important battles that parents have to have to really just dive into and really just draw a line in the sand and these are these are important topics that you know I'm sure you bring to your stage but we also bring to our stage at the freedom summit as well.
It's very important not only are we teaching about our health freedoms but we have to teach about the foundations about how to build longevity and vitality and those are those are key standpoints that we want to give solutions not just problems like here's a problem.
But now how do we fix it right how do we fix and give a solution so that we're not doing the same problem and the same problem and the same problem over and over and over again and continuing to fail in that model and so.
Yes, we have to identify the problem but then provide necessary solutions and steps so that people can go in the right direction to get the health and longevity and vitality that they want.
And I'd love to hear you say that because I'm very solution oriented and I think it's sometimes in this space we've seen like we know what the problem is we have identified the problem a million times over but it's time to start moving forward with solutions and I think sometimes you know in this space you may see sometimes it's profitable right to keep people just angry and focused on the problem but not focusing forward on the solution.
So I love to hear and connect with people who are solutions oriented because that's that's where we're going to make the real progress is when we start moving forward and we stop just kind of wallowing in the problem if you will.
Yeah, and it's going to take a little bit of time you know for people just to continue to not only see the solution but then do do baby steps right and so you you're not going to change everything overnight and you got to give yourself grace on that.
Where you're you have to realize like there's a small percentage of people that can go okay I'm going to flip it today and I'm going to go forward with this new lifestyle tomorrow it just doesn't work that way our human behaviors and human patterns and habits don't usually switch that fast and so.
You know you have to give yourself some grace and take things step by step easy by easy forming new habits and start with one habit and if you if you it takes 30 days or 40 days to do it then great stick to that habit until it takes you tell you tell it's grounded into your natural lifestyle and your daily process and then add another habit and then another one and then another one those are the things that you want to start building on and continuing to move in the direction of where your health and vitality one.
And vitality want to go if you have a vision for where you want to go that's the first step like where do you want to be what's your vision look like and then now how do we get there and that's the that's the solution based little steps that you got to take.
Absolutely and that's the way to do it I think a lot of people and I'm guilty of this myself you know we we get it in our head okay we're going to just all of some we're going to change our lifestyle and we we start doing all the things and we'll go buy all the workout stuff and we'll you know get all this stuff you get become utterly obsessed and you you dive in but that's that's not sustainable you have to start slow take baby steps and and grow and and change those habits you know incrementally because if you go all in like that you were just setting up yourself up for
failure that's just human nature but I think you know we we've got no we've got about six or seven minutes left I would say and I really want to touch on this I know that as I mentioned in my opening that faith is a really important part of your life and I just I want to hear about how how has your walk with Christ shaped the way that you approach your work and this mission.
That's a great question you know I was I was raised as a Lutheran my wife is raised as a Catholic we got together neither was wanted to go down those pathways of either cushy of a of a of a Catholic or a Lutheran so we're we're we ended up in non-denominational church and just kind of growing our faith that way but in twenty twenty twelve was where I think my my faith walk really really changed and in the reason being is because that was the birth of my first son.
And we had him at home natural childbirth wife did amazing pool birth but he came up breach and when he came up breach he has had got actually stuck in the vaginal canal for a period of time in the midwife went in and in kind of you know helped aid him out and unfortunately my son wasn't breathing and I was doing CPR and mouth them out on him and just minutes after he was born and you know it probably been about two or three minutes.
I have it on on GoPro so every now and then I bring up the video and I watch it just to remind me of how gracious God is and in those moments of doing mouth them out and CPR I was just playing the bread of Jesus heals the blood of Jesus heals the blood of Jesus heals and it was almost like a weird like matrix type of moment where everything kind of slowed down and it was almost like somebody took the video in the movie and they and they hit the slow-mo button and it was like that.
That's seen in the matrix where he's dodging bullets that's almost what the room look like and in that moment I heard a voice that said adjust your son as a chiropractor I was like okay what does this mean and I heard it again and I heard it three times and I distinguish the guy louder and louder each time and that I was doing CPR and praying and when I adjusted my son like his his body jerked and he kind of let out this moan but unfortunately he had been not breathing.
For a long period of time he built up a lot of merconium and had a lot of fluid in his lungs at the time so I continue to rescue bleed breathe until paramedics got there and we rushed on the children's hospital down in Minneapolis where we spent the first two the two weeks of his life and the first the first week was absolutely hell and it was brutal because we had he was put on a cooling blanket for the first three days that at EEG of my son's brain and they basically the neurologist came in on the on the third day and are the second day and said
you know be prepared to make decisions as we pull a life support and get him off the cooling blanket tomorrow and she said this to us because the EEG appeared like his brain was nearly dead like brain dead and we have you know basically no no activity and so that's the night that my wife and I hit the hit our knees and really surrendered everything as a man it's hard to surrender everything because you want to be in so much control of your world and of your family and especially of your children and
you know when you surrender at a different level and a deep deep level it's amazing how God shows up I I truly believe that we have an amazing God a God that fills in in our weak points and and to make a stronger to show us how amazing he he really is and when they started to pull life support for my son the next day he started to breathe on his own he started to do things on his own that we thought we're going to be impossible and not to our God though I mean he is just
an amazing amazing healer and we saw miracle after miracle happened for the next seven days they did another EEG my son around day nine and neurologist same neurologist came in she's like I have no idea how this is possible but appears your brain your son's brain isn't 100% nearly functional and you know that was the day that those days were really shaped my my my walk with my with my God and my wife's walk with with with Jesus as well
and ever since that day we just vowed to be on mission and vision to just bring the gospel to people to know that he is a he's a God of strength he's a God of of might empower he's a God of grace and a God of forgiveness and you know that's what we bring into our freedom summit as well as to allow people to meet them where they're at with grace and to empower them to just make you know maybe in decisions that seem impossible but they're never impossible to him
and that's that's kind of where our faith and health freedoms come from and we stand on because I truly believe that our religious freedoms are just as important as our health freedoms and to protect them and ultimately to bring more more people to Christ if we bring more people to Christ and they live more like him now we have the be attitudes where you know people live with love and joy and grace you know and it's just a beautiful beautiful world when we get to that place
what a powerful story thank you so much for sharing that and that's so beautiful and I'm so glad that your son was was thriving and doing well and you're right nothing is impossible to our God so thank thank God for for that.
Well, wow, it's so it's so amazing when we when we really realize and you look around and you see how beautiful our world
really is and the magnificence of what he's created and ultimately it's he's given us the ability to rule over that he's given humans the ability to have dominion over our environment and people have to realize that the environment doesn't have dominion over us we have dominion over the environment and in continuing to just have those those standpoints
continue to shape your life strengthen in the direction you want to go get connected with more podcasts like this get connected with the freedom summit and just continue to grow with wherever you're at and we and we just I just pray that your listeners feel empowered today
that they feel stronger from listening to this conversation and they maybe feel you know maybe even a little bit more confidence to continue to step out and step into a life that the Lord is maybe calling them to
