Take a "jet tour" through the entire Bible in this NEW STUDY, as we explore "God's Plan of the Ages" to see where we are today in HIS-story! This is an extremely powerful message to strengthen faith in the undeniable RELIABILITY OF GOD'S WORD - and to use the information learned in SHARING with others so their "eyes are opened" to the TRUTH of the GOSPEL of Jesus Christ!
Many exciting prophetic picture-types of the Gospel throughout the Old Testament are presented - some of which may even surprise the seasoned Bible student.
Lord God, Almighty, may we be still as we come into your presence,
settle our hearts, to give me the peace that passes all understanding.
As we come before your holy presence this morning,
first and foremost, to praise and thank you for who you are,
that you are the all-powerful, all-knowing,
self-existent, infinite, no beginning, no end.
I am, that I am.
You are the Creator, God, of all that exists outside of your triune, Godhead,
God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit.
Your ways and your thoughts and your plans and your purposes and your promises
and your prophecies so far exceed hours in wisdom and righteousness and justice and goodness and love and holiness and grace and mercy
that we can only now humbly confess how needy we are for you and your divinely inspired revelation,
the Scripture, to enlighten our minds and our hearts.
As we seek to understand, what on earth is going on in these perilous days in which we live?
You alone, of course, are the source of truth and enlightenment in a world that is seemingly spinning out of control,
but not according to you, you know, exactly what's going on.
So, Father, my greatest request now is that your Spirit would work in a powerful way, a mighty way,
to convict anyone and everyone present here and in the future listening,
that the Bible, the 66 books that comprise the Holy Scripture is absolutely true and reliable from cover to cover.
And therefore, what it tells us about history past, history present and history future,
which is all centered from Genesis to Revelation on Yeshua, Jesus Christ, all of it is true.
May He be exalted here today? May the words of my mouth and the meditations of all of our hearts collectively be pleasing and acceptable in your sight.
I ask that you would reach deep into the hearts of those who may never have realized that they really do not know whether they will go to heaven when they die,
because ultimately, ultimately, it does not matter what on earth is going on if they are not going to live beyond this world with you in a far, far better world.
So, convict them of their need for the Savior, comfort those of us who already know we are your children by showing us once again that your word is truth and it is your truth that sets us free from the fears, the confusions and the empty vanities of a world that has lost its way because it has rejected you.
But we ask these things in the mighty and powerful name that is above every name, the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
All right, some time, now the title for our message obviously is what?
What on earth is going on?
So, I'm going to start from eternity past.
Told you we're going to cover a lot of territory.
Sometime in eternity past, before the beginning, the triune Godhead determined to have a kingdom over which he would rule as sovereign king.
Now, since it is impossible to have a kingdom without kingdom subjects, and because nothing else existed outside of himself over which he could rule and display his glory.
And also because he probably got tired of talking to himself, you know, do you ever talk to yourself?
God, the Father, God the Son, God the Holy, they talk to themselves a lot, you know, let us make man, let us go down.
So, I think, I say that whenever I catch myself talking to myself or my husband says, who are you talking to myself?
I said, well, it's biblical talking to myself.
But at any rule, anyway, he decided that he would create two kinds of personal living beings to be part of his kingdom over which he could display his glory.
And all of his attributes is wonderful attributes.
So, first, he created the angelic beings, and they are a core spirit only.
They do not have flesh and bone bodies, but they do have intelligence.
They have personalities.
They have names.
We even know the names of some of them, and they, of course, have the ability to communicate.
Then the second created being personal, intelligent, created being that God created for his kingdom was man and woman.
The earth was very specifically and uniquely created to be part of God's domain.
And since man was to administer God's rule on earth, it was important for man to understand his physical surroundings.
So God made him out of what?
The dust he made a physical body for him from the dust of the earth.
But he was made an in man in God's image, so he also, like God, is tri-part, tight, body, soul, and spirit.
Now, since God gave both the angels and man freedom of choice to choose, to serve, and worship, and love, and glorify him,
rather than making them forced robots, which nullifies genuine love, and worship, doesn't it?
How would you have liked to have gotten a Valentine card from your husband that says,
I love you because I have no choice.
That would really be romantic, right?
So, because he gave angels and men freedom to choose, to love him, to reciprocate his love,
one particularly beautiful, shining, cherub, did you know?
Lucifer was a cherub angel, you know, these different kinds of angels, ranks.
He was a cherub angel, as I said, named Lucifer, whose name means shining one.
He convinced himself that he could establish a kingdom of his own, that would ultimately cause him to sit on the throne of the most high God.
That's in Isaiah chapter 14.
You see, Lucifer deceived himself before he ever deceived anybody else.
And he's been deceiving people ever since, and he is still deceiving himself, by the way.
And the reason he deceived himself is because he is, and he always will be merely a created being.
He does not possess the incommunicable attributes of God.
You say, Catherine, that's a big word, incommunicable.
Yes, there are communicable attributes of God,
such as his grace and his mercy and his love and his wisdom and all that.
That he communicates to those who know him, that he shares with them.
But then there's incommunicable attributes, such as the fact that he is self-existent.
He's infinite, no end, no beginning.
He's eternal.
We are eternal when you receive eternal life.
You're eternal, but we're not infinite.
We had a beginning, right?
We were created.
He's immutable.
He never changes, same yesterday, today, and forever.
He's transcendent.
I'm the present.
Those are incommunicable, incommunicable.
I can't communicate that word, attributes of God.
So Satan, of course, doesn't have those attributes.
He has no ability whatsoever to create his own subjects for his kingdom.
He cannot create, as no one can, something from nothing.
Did God do that?
Absolutely.
It's called ex nihilo.
He created everything from nothing by what?
The word of his mouth, the spoken word and the living word, who is his son, his eternal
son.
So Satan had no way to create his own subjects.
So the only thing he could do was to deceive or to persuade other created beings to join
him in his rebellion to overthrow God.
And he was successful with one-third of the angels.
We're told that in Scripture.
I can back all this up with Scripture, but I won't take time to do that.
But then in a very subtle and crafty way, he succeeded in likewise getting man to sin
against God.
And Earth became the province of Satan's kingdom, which is why he is called the Prince
of this world.
Can you tell who's running this world?
It's sometimes I say it's almost easier to believe there's a Satan than there is a God
because man, he is active.
It also says in 1 John 5.19 that the whole world lies in the evil one.
So happy day, sin brought man under the dominion of a new king, unlike the one who lovingly
gave him life and peace and joy and fulfillment and fellowship with himself.
Satan is an utterly ruthless, cruel, self-centered, narcissisticist.
He's a cruel taskmaster.
Do you know he cares absolutely nothing for man?
The atrocities that man does to his fellow man are just unbelievable.
You look at some of you say, how can that be?
It's because of Satan and his lot of helpers Satan does.
He's not omnipresent, so he's got one-third of the angels and God created multitudes and
multitudes and multitudes.
So one-third is a lot of fallen angels, a lot of demons, evil spirits, but he cares nothing
for man.
The thing he cares is to see him remain in the kingdom of darkness.
He does not want men to know the truth.
And he's pretty good at what he does, yay, half God said.
He is still doing that to this day.
Ah, you can't believe God.
He's just out for himself.
You can be like God.
You can build a throne tower to God and yourself.
You can do it yourself.
You don't need God.
He's doing the same thing, deceiving people and keeping them in it just breaks my heart.
It breaks my heart, doesn't it break yours when you think of all the lost people in this
world, caught up in false religions and false philosophies and ideologies and, anyway,
the stage was set for what is called the conflict of the ages.
And it is this conflict that provides the key for unlocking the mystery of the ultimate
purpose for history, history, his story.
God's purpose is to demonstrate his absolute sovereignty to display his, you know, people
say, why did God create Satan?
Why did He create Satan?
And why doesn't He just destroy him?
You want the short answers?
He didn't and He will.
He did not create Satan.
He created a beautiful chair of angel, named Lucifer.
He didn't destroy him right away, but He will.
In the meantime, you know, what God does best, He takes that, which is meant for evil
and uses it for good.
Would we appreciate goodness without evil?
Would we appreciate light without darkness?
Would we appreciate love without hatred?
God's ways are so much higher than our ways and He has had a plan and He is using Satan
and ultimately it is for good.
God's glory.
All right, so his purpose, God's purpose is all good and it's to show forth his sovereignty
and to be able to display, think of this, if man had not fallen, how would God ever display
His attributes of unconditional love, grace, mercy, long-suffering patience, He wasn't
very long-suffering with the fallen angels, how would He have displayed those attributes
to even the unfallen angels and the holy angels and all mankind?
He couldn't have, you see?
So there was a purpose in man's fall and it's so God can show the world all of His attributes.
I hope you're following me.
All right, so anyway, that's His purpose.
Satan's purpose is to prevent God from saving redeeming man out of the kingdom of darkness
through a savior.
So throughout the Old Testament, the whole Old Testament history, Satan tries over and
over and over again to prevent the savior from coming by destroying the people and the
ancestral line through which He would come and who are those people through which the
savior came.
They are the Jewish people.
Have you noticed anti-Semitism is on the rise, but it has always been there.
Always been there.
As soon as Satan found out that the savior was going to come from Abraham, Isaac, Jacob,
etc.
So repeatedly tries to destroy the ancestral lineage of the Promised Messiah.
Did He succeed?
Well, He failed.
Christ came.
He was born despite Satan's relentless efforts.
And then on the cross, Satan taught He finally one, right?
But Christ victoriously there gave the fatal blow to the serpent's head by crushing the
power of sin and death.
However, Christ needs to come back, not only for His church at the rapture, but He needs
to come back at the second coming.
There's the rapture and then there's the return.
He needs to come back again.
Why?
Ha!
Well, to complete His redemptive plan for earth, earth rightly belongs to Him.
When He opens that scroll in revelation, that is the title deed to this earth.
He is taking back this earth.
And there's another thing He needs to come back and do.
And what is that?
Redeem Israel.
She is not yet saved, corporately.
There are Jewish people individually because the church consists of Jews and Gentiles.
We have some Jewish people in here today.
Praise the Lord.
But corporately, that nation has not yet been saved.
He also has to resurrect the dead.
He has to fulfill all Old Testament prophecies and promises regarding His kingdom on earth,
His 1,000 year long kingdom on earth.
He needs to come back so He can judge the world and destroy evil and then establish a new
heaven and a new earth.
Do you think Satan knows the plan?
Satan knows the plan.
Satan knows the Bible better than most Christians, said to say.
And therefore, he knows that his time is getting very short, especially when Israel returned
to the land, May 1948.
So he is going full gangbusters trying to prevent, he sees still deceiving himself, trying
to prevent the fulfillment of God's promises and his prophecies that are associated with Christ's
return.
And his primary target, besides Christians, he hates us.
He's already lost our souls.
He's trying to destroy our testimonies, but his primary target is Israel.
If she is obliterated, and they say, by the way, that anti-Semitism is higher now than
it was before the Holocaust.
You see, I don't know if you can see these statistics, but it's incredible.
It's pure evil.
It makes no sense without Satan, that that one little tiny country and that small percentage
of people is so persecute, makes no sense unless you believe the Bible.
So he thinks, Satan thinks that if Israel is obliterated, annihilated, then Christ cannot
return to her as he promised.
If he could, if he could cause men to blow up the world, or especially after all the Christians
are gone, get rid of them, then completely take over the world, which of course he's
going to try to do with his man, the Antichrist.
Then in his warped mind, he thinks that he could prove that God is not sovereign after
all, and his rebellion against him long ago was justified, but the fact of the matter
is that the great deceiver is still deceiving himself.
Remember, his head has already been crushed.
Your sentence are just waiting your judgment.
You're already sentenced.
God is sovereign.
You know what that means?
He is in control.
No matter what's happening in the world today, he is still on his throne.
Nothing, what happened today this morning last night, whenever it was, does not surprise
him.
You know what?
His word does not return void.
All the forces of darkness, all the forces of darkness cannot stop what he has for ordained,
Isaiah 1427.
Jesus will return first as the groom to fetch his bride.
Now let me tell you something important.
Jesus is not going to let his bride go through his own wrath.
Are you kidding?
What loving groom would do that to his bride?
He said to the church of Philadelphia, I will not let you go through the tribulation
that will come upon the whole world.
He has not appointed us to wrath.
He's the head.
We're the body.
He is not going to put his body through all his own wrath.
That is the wrath of Jesus Christ against the world.
He is the one who breaks the seals to the title deed to this earth.
God's wrath doesn't start sometime in the middle of the tribulation.
It starts at the beginning.
Okay?
I am firmly, totally, absolutely convinced in a pre-tribulation rapture.
The rapture comes before.
We're not looking for the antichrist.
We're looking for Christ.
We're not looking for the undertaker.
We're looking for the upper taker.
But he better hurry up at my age, you know.
And remember what Jesus said when he talked about this to his, they didn't really know
what he was talking about, but to his disciples in John chapter 14.
He said, you know, I go to prepare a place for you.
I'm going to come back again and get you and take you where I am there.
You will be, he said, if it were not so, I want to told you.
Does Jesus lie?
No.
I love that.
If it were not so, I wouldn't have built up your hopes.
When I first heard about the rapture, I thought it was the craziest thing I ever heard.
But God is God.
And he's given us an exact member, Enoch, Enoch, walk with God, and then he was no more.
But Jesus ascended to heaven.
It's no big deal for God, right?
To raise the dead.
All your loved ones and the Lord are going to be raised back to life.
Body's going to come and meet their soul.
It's just so exciting.
And it could happen before we leave today.
Now, did you know, did you know that prophecies about Christ's second coming are eight times more frequent
than prophecies about his first coming?
Did you know that?
In fact, about one in every 30 verses in the New Testament mentions his return.
Hmm.
Is your church talking about the second coming of Christ?
I hope so.
Should be eight times to one.
He talks about his second coming.
Now, we're all of the promises and prophecies about the Lord's first coming fulfilled.
Were they?
And how were they fulfilled?
Were they fulfilled allegorically spiritually?
Or were they fulfilled absolutely positively, literally?
Where was he born?
Exactly where is Bethlehem, Aphrodite?
You know, there were three before Bethlehem at that time.
Bethlehem, Aphrodite, was he going to be called, you know, a Nazarene?
Yes, root out of the branch of Jesse.
Yes, he was from Nazareth, even though he was born in Bethlehem, where it said, it also says he would come out of Egypt.
Well, how do you put those three together?
Did he come out of Egypt?
Yes, when Joseph his stepfather took it.
I mean, on and on.
Every prophecy about his first coming was fulfilled literally.
How will all the prophecies, the Bible's not inconsistent?
How are all the prophecies about his return going to be fulfilled?
Allegorically, no way, literally.
Did you know Jesus spoke of his own return 25 times?
So if you don't believe in his return, you don't believe in him.
Now, an evaluation from most people on the subject of what is going on today in the world.
Even from people who don't know about or believe in the cosmic conflict of the ages between good and evil, between God and Satan.
The evaluation from most people, go to Walmart, just start asking, would likely be, I don't go to Walmart, I send my husband.
But the evaluation would likely be from them that the world is a chaotic mess on every level.
I mean from individuals to marriages, families, cities, nations, the entire globe.
Most people would agree with that unless they have their heads stuck in the sand.
We could literally, literally spend the rest of our time this morning discussing the proliferation of complex and problematic issues that are happening all at once.
All at once, coming together.
One very basic problem, and this is one that truly does amaze me,
is the rapid disappearance, the rapid disappearance of just basic common sense.
What has happened to common sense?
I mean, reality is being so rapidly redefined, so that good is being called evil and evil is being called good,
that it just boggles the mind.
It boggles it.
Moral confusion prevails, masses of people are being brainwashed to believe in an upside down alternative reality.
It's like, I thought about this, it's like people are eating from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil while they're standing on their heads.
Everything is just upside down.
We're living in a time in which some of the most supposedly educated people can even define what a woman is.
I mean, you can ask a child, or answer a basic question like this.
Can biological men get pregnant?
I mean, they say, ever learning and never coming to the knowledge of the truth, right?
Let me see, well, I can't really specifically answer that question.
Let me do some more homework on that.
The downward spiral in our culture is busily, busily, busily trying to persuade young people, especially our young people,
to identify with whatever gender they so choose.
Or can you believe this, whatever animal?
If you're going to pick an animal, which one would it be?
I was thinking about that.
It definitely wouldn't be a turkey.
But you think I'm kidding.
You know I'm not kidding, don't you?
You know I'm not kidding.
All right, I just read this.
Just read it last week.
This is close to home.
A kindergarten teacher.
It at Mildred B. Poole Elementary School on Fort Bragg.
Fayaville, did you see that?
Was fired.
Oh, thank you.
Thank you.
He was fired for dressing as a transgender wolf in class and frightening those little kindergarten kids
by encouraging them to learn to howl.
Oh!
And then he told him at night, he became a wolf.
Well, you know, we had stories about wolf men and all that, but he would become a wolf.
And the kids were scared to death that he was going to come and eat them up.
And he would come to, this is just in Fayaville.
He'd come dress like a wolf and he would make them use various alternate names and identities.
I mean, you know, it's not like preferred pronouns, okay, what do you call a wolf?
I don't understand the preferred pronoun they.
How can you talk about yourself as they are them?
Is that weird?
That's weird.
That's weird.
All right.
Anyway, this transgender cult is what it, transgender cult is destroying the lives of these
poor, gender-confused children.
And now we see that they're, unfortunately, increasingly becoming a threat to the rest
of society, aren't they?
So many of them, they're so miserable and they're taking it out on others.
So it is really getting difficult to be shocked by what you hear these days, like the
British woman, last year, who married her cat, India, cat's name was India.
Or the Japanese woman, I mean, this isn't just in America, this is everywhere, everywhere.
The Japanese woman, who married her AI chatbot, named Clause, because he never argued
with her.
Always agreed with her.
These are true, those are true pictures.
There are so many confused, sad, tragic, I mean, it breaks your heart.
These people, they need Jesus, they are hurting people.
Values have become so distorted that people are celebrating and they're promoting ideas
and behaviors that are not only damaging their fellow man, but themselves.
They're hurting themselves.
People just are not happy.
They're angry.
The world is an angry place.
Discontentment is everywhere.
Satan is literally having a heyday.
Talking about seeking whom he may devour, including, as I said earlier, destroying the testimonies
of Christians.
He will do, once he's lost your soul, he will do all he can to destroy your testimony.
Or to keep us silent, to keep us too timid to speak, or to water down the truth, take
away the fundamentals of the Scripture, entertain people in church instead of beating them
the Word of God, not knowing how to defend the Scripture.
You really don't need to know how to defend the Scripture, you just need to open it.
It speaks for itself.
It's like letting the lion out of the cage, the good lion, not the bad lion.
But people aren't grounded in apologetics, the defense of Scripture.
This world is a confused mess, understatement, because people turn to just about any and
every source of help but to the true God and to his true Word.
The God who loves them and who proved his love by sending his only begotten Son, to
die for them, do you know what?
It is not his will that any man should perish.
He has always provided salvation.
You know what?
Hell was not created for man.
It was created for the devil and the angels, but if man decides to follow their lies, that's
where he will spend eternity.
Hell is real.
Jesus talked more about hell than he did about heaven.
Don't just say, oh well, it's just a place I'm going to go and party with my friends.
No, you won't.
His utter darkness, utter loneliness.
It is void of everything that is God, so it's void of love, it's void of light, it's
void of truth, it's void of everything God is, miserable place, and you do not want
to go there.
And you can know for sure that you don't have to go there.
John wrote, you may know that you have eternal life.
It's not a hope so.
It's a no so.
We'll talk about that later, but so people are going everywhere for answers except to the
Word of God, unfortunately.
Now to answer the question, keep going back to that, what on earth is going on?
From a far healthier perspective, one in which a person can have hope beyond the headlines.
Don't you want that?
I just have to turn the news off sometimes.
I would get away.
Frank, be watching.
I just got to go away.
It's just taking away my peace.
I don't want to enjoy my salvation robbed from me by listening to the headlines.
But for hope beyond the headlines, where do we turn?
We turn to the Word of God.
He is not only our creator and our redeemer.
He is also the great architect of history, who has revealed a detailed blueprint of his
inner action with men.
And I got to thinking about it, no wonder he came here to earth and had a stepfather was
a carpenter and learned the carpenter trade because he is a carpenter.
He has laid out the blueprint for the ages.
He is preparing for us a dwelling place.
He is building up his church.
What an appropriate.
Isn't that a good occupation to be a carpenter because you are following in the footsteps
of Jesus.
He is a great architect of history and he has given us his blueprint in the 66 books of
scripture.
Six is the number of men.
What day was man created six?
How many books in the Bible are there?
66 because it's a book for man.
It wasn't written for the angels.
It was written for us.
And the 66 books of the scripture are progressive, progressive revelation.
He didn't tell everything all at once.
It's been progressive.
They're interconnected.
You can't really understand revelation without Genesis or without Daniel, et cetera.
You're interconnected.
They're non-contradictory.
Don't let somebody tell you this contradicts this.
No, every time I have ever researched something that looks like a contradiction, you find
out it isn't.
You do your research.
You do the contextual study.
You go to the Hebrew or the Greek, et cetera.
Without contradiction, it is prophetic.
It is self-authenticated.
It is from those 66 books that we find the beyond human answer to what on earth is going
on.
So to realize where we are today, and this is where you can start looking at the color chart
here, start looking at that as I talk, to realize where we are today, according to God's
prophetic calendar as given to us in scripture, and this is going to scare you, but we are going
to take a jet tour through the whole Bible.
My purpose in this two-part study is to demonstrate that we are, indeed, living in the last days
of the last days.
The last days of the last days.
I want to give you reasons from the Bible for why I believe that this is true.
But first, we need to understand God's overall architectural blueprint.
A home or a kingdom is not built all at once, is it?
It's built in stages, and that is what scripture reveals about the fulfillment of God's kingdom.
It's been in stages.
So we are going to look at the, God's favorite number, by the way, seven, why?
Because it's the number of completion and perfection.
So wouldn't you know it?
Seven earthly stages in his blueprint for the plan of the ages, seven.
And then there's one eternal stage, which is not on your chart, but that would be the
new heavens and the new earth, eternity, okay?
Seven earthly stages, one eternal stage.
It's kind of like, you know, he based the week on seven, didn't he?
Six days of work and one day of rest.
Well, look at this chart.
Six days of work, working with man, man, man, man, man, always failing, always failing,
you know?
And then what's the seventh?
The kingdom, the rest.
Perfect, isn't it?
Of course, God is perfect.
So we're going to look at this now.
As we see how God has dealt with man in different ways, at different times in history, I want
you to remember this, salvation from Adam to the last person who will ever be saved and
go into, you know, the new heavens and the new earth.
Salvation has always been by grace through faith in his promised Savior, whether it was
in the Old Testament times, looking forward to the coming Savior, anticipating him, believing
God's promise about him coming, which was right away, even in the garden, or whether
it's looking back on the fact that he already came.
But it's always been, not by works, for by grace through faith, are you saved?
And that, not of yourselves, it's a gift of God, and it's always been in Jesus Christ, believing
in the Savior.
Okay, so first of all, we have the age of innocence.
And that we read about in Genesis 1 and 2, part of 3, man was created in innocent perfection,
and he was placed in a perfect environment.
People always say, well, if the world was utopia, we wouldn't have problems.
Oh, yeah, you would.
And he proves that in every one of these stages that man needs him, desperately needs the
Savior.
All right, so he's in this perfect environment, and he only has one restriction placed on
him, and he was warned severely about the consequences of disobeying that one restriction.
Don't eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.
Or what, ye shall surely die, how, die spiritually and physically.
That's why Jesus had to die for us, both physically and spiritually, when he was separated
from his father, that was his spiritual death.
Well, unfortunately, man learned the hard way that sin destroys fellowship with holy
God, and sin destroys fellowship with your fellow man, doesn't it?
What's the first thing that happened after they fell?
Yeah, well, it's that one you gave me.
He's actually blaming God, there, isn't he?
And who does she blame?
A serpent?
I mean, you know, ever since we've been playing the blame game.
And then what happened?
The first son killed, the second son, Cain killed Abel, you know, so sin destroys fellowship,
we've got sin destroys fellowship with one another.
And man found out that is absolutely powerless to repair or remedy his situation.
No amount of fig leaves, no amount of fruit offerings, like Cain, which are indicative, by
the way, of all works systems, trying to work your way, cover your own sin, you know,
bring your own offering instead of a sin, substitute the shedding of blood, without the
shedding of blood, there is no remission.
Remember, his ways are higher than ours.
That's what he said.
That's how it is.
So no amount of their works could cleanse their sin.
So it looked like Satan had won.
Because man and all his future descendants, because man was designed to reproduce, angels
do not reproduce.
That's why Jesus could not redeem them.
He could not become their Kinsman Redeemer because he could not be born a angel, but that's
another story.
So man, it looked like Satan won because now all men, born from Adam and Eve, would now
be subjects of his kingdom of darkness.
By the way, let me ask you, this is why it's going to take me forever.
Let me ask you a question, how do we know Adam and Eve were saved?
Are they in heaven?
Adam and Eve.
How do we know they were saved?
Oh, I can't hear you, but I'll give you the answer.
As soon as I'm going to talk in a minute about the proto-event gallium, the first time
the gospel was presented, which is right here, so you can be looking at it, immediately
after they heard that God was going to send them a savior, the seed of the woman who would
crush the serpent's head on their behalf as soon as they heard that.
You can look at Genesis, that's in Genesis 315, the first evangelical, the first gospel,
but in Genesis 320, it says that Adam called his wife Eve before that, she didn't have
a name, you know who she was, when he saw her, he said, whoa, man, for that she's woman.
Now she has a name, right after the gospel, he gives her a name and it means mother of
all living.
You know why he called her that?
And she accepted that name and she thought Cain was the promise savior because they believed
in the coming redeemer.
Mother of all living, he believed the message, so Adam and Eve are saved, why?
Because they believed in the savior and it's been that way ever since.
So back to my story, all right.
So it looked like always doom and gloom, you know, all mankind would be under Satan in
his kingdom, the usurped dominion of Satan.
But God intervened, of course, as he always does, on man's behalf and in amazing grace,
no other way to say it, he promised a savior.
This is called the first gospel, Genesis 315, you need to know Genesis 315, it is critical,
it is the first time that God proclaimed the truth.
And it was while man, fallen man was still in Eden.
That's how people say, oh, Christianity didn't start until Jesus came, no, no, no, it started
still, even back in Eden, get that?
The Edenic gospel, we could call it, God through the seed with a capital S of the woman
would provide a savior, you know what that tells us?
Miracle birth, women don't have seed, men have seed is going to be a virgin birth, this
is going to be a God man, because it's going to be miraculous, no father, but a woman,
800% God, 100% man, and he would be the savior, and he would be the one to give the fatal
blow to Satan's kingdom of darkness and the power of sin and death.
So in anticipation of what he would do, God then covered the sin of Adam and Eve by shedding
the blood of an innocent animal.
I think it was a lamb, probably two lambs maybe, and shed the blood and then covered them
with the animal skin, a sin substitute.
Do you know that there was a lamb, first of all, offered, I'll say it's a lamb, for a couple,
Adam and Eve, then there was a lamb offered for a family, family, whole family, when
Passover, then on the day of atonement in Israel, when the high priest would go into the
Holy Apollo, he's just one day of year, the year, and present the offering, it was one
lamb for the nation.
But when Jesus Christ came and John the Baptist pointed his long, bony finger at Jesus coming
down after the wilderness temptation, and said, be hold the lamb of God that taketh away
the sins of what?
The whole world.
His salvation, I do not believe in limited atonement you guys, he died for the sins of the whole
world, whosoever will call upon the name of the Lord Jesus shall be saved.
So he covered them with the blood and the animal skin, and then I say this, and you
might be shocked, in merciful judgment, he drove them out of Eden.
Why was that merciful?
So they would not then eat of the tree of life and live perpetually in a fallen state
of separation from God.
Do you know there were two trees in the garden?
One was the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.
That's the horizontal beam of the cross.
Jesus, perfectly good, became the curse of sin for us, tree of good and evil combined.
And then there was the tree of life, that's the vertical beam of the cross because he
alone gives life.
Okay, moving on rapidly, we go into the age of conscience, Genesis 4 to 8.
With their knowledge of good and evil, right and wrong, man's God given conscience was
to be his guide for obedience to his maker, and now also his not only as creator but as
Redeemer.
There were no restraints put on man, such as society or written laws, just his God given
conscience, telling him to obey the moral laws of God.
That God innately puts into the heart of all men.
So did Adam's descendants harken to God's inner voice?
Or did they again get deceived by Satan's lies and do their own thing and not be restricted
by God's ways?
Well, some like Abel and Seth and Enoch, some did, others like Cain and the bad Lamek and
others and others and the Cain and Nights, the descendants of Cain, they did not harken
unto God.
In fact, the people of this age, the age of conscience grew so morally sinful and violent
and vile and demonically possessed, Regenesis 6, first few verses, that God sent gracious
again.
I say gracious judgment to preserve the lineage, the messianic lineage of his promise savior.
His grace was displayed in providing rescue for anyone who would enter his ark of safety.
The ark, no as ark is not just a little Sunday school story, with a little tiny ship
and a few animals sticking their heads out of it.
Go to Ken Ham's ark and see how huge it was.
But the ark stood as a massive gospel sermon, one door, one refuge, one way of escape from
judgment, from sin.
All who would enter would live, all who refused to enter would perish.
Do you know that when the ark rested on error at, we are told in the scripture what the
date was.
It was the 17th day of the 7th month, all right.
That translates to on the Hebrew calendar, the Hebrew religious calendar, Nissan 17.
It pictured new life, okay?
Starting all over again with Adam and his family of eight.
A time of new beginnings.
Well, I think I have this on your, did I give this on your hand up?
Yes I did, okay, because this is so exciting, you have to share this with other people.
Do you know what else happened besides the ark resting on Nissan 17?
Time of new beginning?
All right.
Another thing that happened.
Israel passed through the miraculously opened waters of the red sea on Nissan.
17.
The Hebrews left Egypt, Nissan 14, first Passover.
It was like, when they crossed the red sea, it was like a death to their old life in Egypt
and resurrection to new life in the Lord on the other side.
What else happened on that date, Nissan 17?
Well, the manna from heaven that had miraculously fed the Israelites for how many years, 40 years
in the wilderness, it stopped falling on Nissan 16.
Then beginning on Nissan 17, they feasted on the new grain of the Promised Land.
They crossed into the Promised Land, no more need of the manna.
It was a time of what?
New beginnings.
What else happened on Nissan 17?
Well, on the third day, which was Nissan 17, Queen Esther went before her husband, the
king on behalf of her people, to spare them from the death decreed on them through evil
Haman, a puppet of Satan who was going to wipe out all of the Jews.
It was very dangerous for her to do that, wasn't it?
But what did she say?
She had the people fast for three days and she said, if I perish, I perish.
It was her willing surrender to death.
But wondrously, the tables were turned, Haman was hanged on the gallows he had created
himself.
And the Jews were spared from annihilation, Nissan 17.
It was a time of new beginnings.
Well, what else happened on Nissan 17?
The Lord Jesus died, we know, for a fact, on Passover, which was Nissan 14, according
to Exodus, and three days later, what happened?
The feast of first fruits, he rose from the dead.
It definitely was a time of new beginnings.
Do you get how consistent the scripture is?
Do you see that?
It is amazing.
It just, there are so many ways.
I'm my next study.
I wanted to do some amazing other things that I won't have time to share with you today.
But prove the Bible is true.
Prove it, prove it, prove it.
Viana Shaddou of a doubt.
Men couldn't have figured this out.
Over 1,500 years and 40 different authors and all gotten together and conspired this.
No, no, no, impossible.
Okay, so that was the age of, it's conscience.
And we move into the age of human government.
There's the new beginning on Nissan 17.
The age of self-governance, that's Genesis 9 through 11.
In this third age or echelonomia is the word in Greek economy.
Man was restricted in that he was now made to answer for his actions, not just go by his
conscience, but now he's going to have to answer for himself to society.
It was for his own protection, protection is the P word for this stage.
For example, capital punishment was imposed for murder.
Even with governing social restrictions, however, it did not take very long for post-flood,
because after the flood, early generations to exhibit rebellion toward God.
They deliberately disobeyed his command to scatter across the world and instead under
the leadership of a power-hungry man named Nimrod, you know what his name means?
Why would you name your son Nimrod?
It means we will rebel.
Okay, I want a really bad kid, so I'll name you, we will rebel.
Under Nimrod men determined to build a city and a tower in order to what make a name for
themselves.
He was at it again, he was using pride, you know, we can be like the most high, we can
rise above the throne of God, we will be like God, that's the whole same thing again.
He was using pride and lies to convince men that they could live better without God.
They didn't have to obey him, they didn't have to scatter, they could get to heaven without
him.
This is what all religions are, man made ways to try to get to heaven without the true
God.
Nimrod bore all the marks of the final great yet future attempt for a one-world government
and a one-world anti-God religion which will be under the reign of the Antichrist.
You know all this stuff about globalism and no borders?
That's what the Antichrist is for, there's nothing wrong with having borders, there's
nothing wrong with having nations, God made the nations, do you know, there will be nations
still in the millennial kingdom, nations, I love that kind of diversity, I love going
to Paris or another country, Japan or seeing the different cultures and eating the different
foods and listening to the different peoples' languages, don't you love that?
Where is unity?
Unity in the world is found in Christ.
What is the only true unity?
We have women in here from probably all kinds of different ethnic backgrounds and what
are we here?
One in Christ, sisters in Christ, amen.
But Nimrod was a picture of the coming Antichrist who is likewise going to seek a one-world
government and a one-world religion.
So how did the age of human self-government go?
How did it end?
Did it, you think it ended well?
It's really kind of silly, but they're trying to build their way up and God just looks
down at their foolish attempt to build up anything lasting apart from him and to try to
devise their own way up to heaven.
I mean, he just, it's pitiful.
So what did he do?
I think he has a sense of humor because he disrupted their effort by giving them different
languages.
All of a sudden, they couldn't finish the project, excuse me, I heard an interview that
Ken Ham, you know Ken Ham is the creation museum, the art guy and all that.
He was interviewing John MacArthur, bless his heart, who just went to be with the Lord.
And John MacArthur was overwhelmed.
And he said, I feel like the queen of Sheba that I have just, I've been told, but I just,
you know, haven't seen the haven until I saw this, I can't believe this is magnificent.
What are you going to do next?
And Ken Ham said, we're thinking about building the Tower of Babel, but we'll never be able
to finish it.
How about that was good.
All right.
God made them into a bunch of babblers.
A bunch of babblers.
You know what that one is?
That's Greek, yes.
I had to put that one up.
Then got the Levento, it means, I don't know.
I don't know what you're saying.
And they say, K, it's not in DCN, though.
What are you saying?
I don't understand.
So they couldn't finish the project because they couldn't understand each other.
So then they eventually separated into their language groups and that's where we got
the origin of the nations.
How many nations are there in the Table of Nations in Genesis, chapter 10?
How many nations did God originally create?
How many do you think?
Guess, guess, 70, okay, I heard it's 70.
At least he's consistent, right?
All right.
Then the age of the patriarchs, I made them really handsome.
Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, aren't they good looking?
Sadly, the nations formed from the various language groups eventually turned to the worship
of all manner of false gods.
And Satan's kingdom of darkness was in full swing again.
By the way, the P for this is the age of promises, the covenant promises, promises.
Okay, so everybody's worshipping false gods, but God intervened.
And he was going to create a new nation through a descendant of Shem, one of Noah's sons,
the son in whom the Messianic lineage would continue, Shemites, anti-Semitism, you know,
comes from Shem.
Not to be, and the one he called out, this descendant of Shem, this is funny, but he was
a Gentile.
Did you ever realize that Abraham was a Gentile?
Yes, you did.
Well, I say the Jew first and then, you know, the Gentiles, but actually it was a Gentile
first and then the Jews, but anyway, we won't get into that.
What is an equal opportunity employer, by the way, you know, you think, oh, well, the
Bible was written by all men, the living word, the written word, by men, yes, but the
living word himself came from a woman, so you see, equal opportunity.
So it's funny, but he called a Gentile whose family was, they were idol worshipers, and
you know, where they were living in modern day Southern Iraq.
He called Abram to be the first patriarch of this new nation, and he gave him special
unconditional promises in what is called the Abrahamic covenant.
And those promises, by the way, include the land of Israel from the river of Egypt to
the Euphrates.
Oh, really?
Really?
Yep.
It's not stolen land.
God gave them that land.
He promised them that land, and I won't say other words, but you get it, okay?
That belongs to Israel.
And I praise the Lord right now that America is on the same side as Israel, bless them,
that bless her, yes, stay true to Israel, even if she's in non-belief.
All right, so these promises to Abraham included the land, included that, you know, he would
become the father of many nations that would be blessed through his seed, which means
the coming Messiah.
That's the most important promise that the Messiah would come through him, even though he had
no children at the time, but eventually through Isaac, not Ishmael, okay?
And through Jacob, not Edom, who despised his birthright, important.
It was always the second born son, wasn't it?
What do you think that's teaching us?
You must be born again, second born son, cane, bad, able, good, okay?
All right, was the gospel presented in type, in picture form during this time?
Absolutely.
It's called the Gospel of Moriah.
Abraham was told to offer his beloved son, Isaac, on the very mountain where God would
one day offer his own beloved son.
Do you know what Moriah means?
Clear vision.
God was giving the world a clear, prophetic vision of Calvary.
What do we have on Mount Moriah?
We had a father who dearly loved his son, his only, first time love appears in the scripture
is in this passage.
He loved his son, his willing son, who was not a child like the picture he books show
you.
Based on Sarah's death, Isaac was about 33 years old.
He was laid on wood, willingly, he did it willingly.
What else do we have?
A male, of course, his sacrifice would have meant nothing, it wouldn't have saved anybody
including himself, but God provided, it was only testing and he was showing a picture.
He provided a male lamb called a ram, caught in a thicket of thorns.
Oh, we even have thorns present, don't we?
A life given in place of another.
And then these incredible words, have you ever looked at Genesis 228?
And what you remember when Isaac said, well, you know, father, here's the wood and here's
the knife and here's the fire, but where is the lamb?
And Abraham said this, my son, God, my son, God, himself, will provide the lamb.
Actually, my God, my son, God will provide himself the lamb.
He never answered Isaac's question, where's the lamb?
But John the Baptist did, didn't he, behold, there he is, Isaac, the lamb of God.
Well, Abraham's grandson, Jacob, would have his name change after Russell, remember all
that, wrestling with Angel of the Lord, who was the preincarnate Lord Jesus Christ, had
his name changed to what is Ryeh, Prince of God.
And I don't have time because I'm, oh, I'm really in trouble.
But do you know that the 12, the 12 tribes of Israel, the names, even though they came
from four different mothers, Ruben, Simeon, Levi, Judah, Dan, Naftali, Gad, Asher, Isekars,
Ebulin, Joseph, Benonai, Benjamin, Joseph had two names, by the way, his name can
meet in two things, and Benjamin had two names, Benonai means Son of my Sire, Benjamin
means Son of my right hand.
If you take those 12 names, they spell out the gospel.
They spell out the gospel, the whole to son, hear him.
He's the anointed one, praise God, he judged and vindicated us, he wrestled for us, he's
bringing us a good fortune, we are happy, blessed, we will serve him, we will dwell with him.
He was taken away so he could add to, he was the son of Sire, so he could become the
son of my right hand.
I did that pretty fast.
All right, now in this same era, God taught Israel her need for, or deliver, not only by
way of Joseph, who was, does anybody know Joseph some Hebrew, not Hebrew name?
Egyptian, thank you.
What his Egyptian name was, for the fair, gave him a name, Joseph, anybody, what?
That's his wife, that was going to be my next question.
Zafnafpaniya, now how could you not remember that?
That's a matter with you.
Shame on you, I was going to give somebody a free book if you could say that.
All right, so his name in Egyptian was Zafnafpaniya, Genesis 41, 45, do you know what that
means?
Savior of the world.
Who gave the bread of life to save the world?
Joseph, Joseph is in 82 ways in my book, types of Christ in Genesis.
I give 82 ways that Joseph pictured Jesus.
So did we have the gospel presented in this?
Yes, through Joseph.
And also by way of another man, you all heard of Moses.
I have over 60 ways that Moses is a picture of Christ.
By the way, did you know that initially both of those men were rejected by their own
people?
But the second time, second time, they were accepted by their group.
When they were rejected, guess who did accept them?
The Gentiles.
The Gentiles accepted them, the Egyptians and the Midianites.
And do you know what?
They both took Gentile brides like Christ has taken the Gentile bride, the church, as
anath, and zippura.
But the second time, they were accepted.
That's why the Lord is coming again.
And all his own brothers, they're going to fall before him.
They're going to recognize him and they pierce, and they are going to mourn for him and
accept him.
So Joseph and Moses give the gospel.
Now when Jacob's family in Egypt multiplied to several million, Satan found another willing
human doob to do his bidding.
There was a new Pharaoh in town, and he didn't know Joseph and he didn't care about Joseph
and he felt threatened because the Hebrews were multiplying.
They stayed too long in Egypt.
You can overstay your welcome in Egypt.
Some Christians stayed too long in Egypt.
They get just more like the world.
The famine ended long ago, but they got comfortable in Egypt.
They like garlic.
They got too comfortable there.
They drifted from God.
They forgot about the land he had promised them.
They became, when you stay too long in Egypt, you become the slaves of Egypt.
They were physically and spiritually becoming the slaves of Egypt.
And what did God do?
Well, again, he graciously intervened with the ten plagues, and yet another prophetic picture
of the gospel, another presentation, a great one.
The gospel of the Passover taught that salvation requires the death.
And the shed blood of a perfect sin substitute to be personally applied to the doorpost of
our own hearts.
The heart of every firstborn.
We are all firstborn.
I actually am physically the firstborn in my family.
But all of us are firstborns, because when you're born, only once, physically you're
a firstborn.
You must be born again.
You must have a secondborn, or otherwise the angel of death will not pass over you.
You want the angel of death to pass over you.
You need to be born.
Again, you need to not be a firstborn.
Okay.
Of course, Christ is the once-for-all Passover lamb.
I could say I'm almost done.
Let me finish.
And then we can eat.
And maybe I'll have to do the second message and other to him.
I don't know.
All right.
Age of the law.
Age of the law.
Age from Moses to Christ's first coming, Exodus 20 to X2, this age began 50 days after
Israel's Exodus from Egypt.
When she reached Mount Sinai, 50 days after the Exodus, 50 days after the Exodus.
Remember that.
Well, the premonition of how the age of the law would work out was given when Moses came
down with a ten tablets of the moral law.
And what did he do?
As soon as he saw that they had built a golden calf in his absence, what did he do?
He threw down the tablets which broke in pieces.
And that is a perfect illustration of the fact that man cannot save himself by perfect
obedience to even the ten commandment, much less the rest of the law.
Now there are many, many prophetic types of Christ presented during the age of the
law.
Many, too many to cover.
For example, the smitten rock, the smitten rock out of which water flowed, this picture
of Christ being smitten for our sins out of which flowed the Holy Spirit.
And that is an actual picture of a rock in the Sinai.
It's amazing.
It is amazing.
That's probably the one.
What about the brazen serpent lifted up on a pole and all he had to do was look at it
in faith and be saved from the death of the viper bite, which is Jesus even compared
to Nicodemus, he said, as the serpent was lifted up in the wilderness.
We also have the tabernacle, oh my, the tabernacle, picturing Christ dwelling with man.
This is amazing.
Do you know when the twelve tribes were laid out in formation around the tabernacle, you
know, in the holy of holies where God dwelt with man and the shakina glory, when the
tribes were laid out, if you could see it from up on top of a mountain and look down
on it, it formed across.
Did you know that?
We've got the statistics of the tribes and the numbers to prove it.
The tabernacle, all the required sacrifices pointed to the need for a sin substitute.
The priesthood revealed, and by the way, the flags on each of the inside tribes, Rube and
Judah, Dan and Ephraim, each had a flag.
One was the flag of a man.
One was the flag of a lion, the ox and the eagle, those corresponded to the four gospels
in Jesus Christ as the son of man, the line of the tribe of Judah, the ox, the servant
of God, and the eagle, the divine deity, son of God, God the son.
Of course, this sacrifice is all pointed to him.
The priesthood revealed the need for a mediator between God and man.
The seven God-given feast, oh, I wish I could just talk forever about that.
They outlined the whole prophetic calendar of the Savior's redemption, you know, he
died on the Passover.
He was buried without sin, the unleavened bread, that was his burial.
The first fruits, we just talked about that, and Ethan 17 is the first fruit of the resurrection.
And then we have Pentecost, 50 days later, 50 days after the Exodus, they came to Mount
Sinai.
You know what the Jews celebrate, 50 days after the Exodus, when they came, the giving
of the law.
They call it the birth of Judaism.
They celebrate that, what happened 50 days after Christ's resurrection, feast of Pentecost,
the birth of the church, how many perished 50 days after the Exodus when they disobeyed
God and built the golden calf.
You know how many perished, 3,000?
How many were saved on the birth of the church, Pentecost?
How many?
3,000.
Is the Bible true, folks?
Is it true?
It is, it is.
All right, the age of the law included both the time of Israel's judges and her kings.
Now, how did those periods go?
Well, Satan was again doing his thing.
He was using the many enemies of Israel to attack her, using false gods, temptations of
the lust, et cetera, and the tragic last words of the book of judges was what?
That every man did that, which was right in his own eyes.
And then when Israel demanded that she have a king like the other nations, which was just
awful to say to God because he was their king, but now we want to be like everybody else
and we want a king.
Guess what?
She got what she wanted.
And only eight of 44 kings were good.
The rest were evil, including one extremely devilish queen named Atholaya.
She killed all her own grandchildren, only one escaped.
God preserved the Messianic lineage through one baby infant named Joeste.
Do you know that?
Who a nurse took and hid?
All right, so how did this end?
Well, when the perfectly good king did arrive, what did she do?
She rejected him.
She said, we have no king but Caesar.
Caesar.
Israel's spiritual leaders were Satan's pawns.
And all they really did was succeed in lifting him up so that the son of man could draw
all men to himself, all who would believe on him.
So the age of the law concluded with the actual gospel, the death, the resurrection,
the burial and the resurrection of Jesus.
Unfortunately, the Jews projected their Messiah and they were scattered.
The Jerusalem was destroyed, as Jesus said, it would be and they were scattered, the
diaspora across the world.
But, but, but, her story would continue.
Her story, God is not finished with Israel.
