Welcome ladies and gentlemen to the accent training podcast. My name is Pat. I'm your personal
American accent coach and folks we've finally made it. Episode 300 of the accent training
podcast. What an incredible 300 episodes this has been my friend. I'm so happy to have
been able to share this journey with you. It's been six years. About six years ago, maybe
five and a half years ago, I started this podcast just because my students were asking me how
can I practice between our classes. I have no idea what I can do. I'm really enjoying
our classes, but I need something that I can do to keep the momentum going. And so I thought I
better start recording these lessons and the things that I wasn't able to cover in the class
just because there may not have been enough time. I'd write it down, record a podcast episode,
and you are now able to listen to it on your drive to work as you're sitting on the train. Maybe
when you're going to the gym or washing the dishes. And the whole world can train the American
accent with me, Pat, your personal American accent coach. Over these last 300 episodes, you have
moved with me all over North America, starting off in Mexico in the southern part of the city of
Monterey and then all the way out to the desert in the most remote location possible while my wife
completed her social service as a doctor and weren't those fun times recording in our truck.
That's where I learned a truck is a fantastic podcast studio. And now all the way up north in
Calgary. And so what else is coming up? Well, my friend number one is that you can expect some
better quality lessons. This is going to be the final audio only lesson of the accent training
podcast that I'm going to produce. From now on, I'm going to make all of our lessons available with
video, which is to say you had better be following the accent training podcast on YouTube,
because I've already got hundreds of videos available on there. And one other thing I want you
to know about is my accent confidence program. This is a guided program designed to help you develop
a clear natural American accent for everyday conversations. In this program, you get lifetime
access to the accent acceleration system. This is a complete step by step guide to retain your
pronunciation and build a clear confident English accent. This includes pronunciation training,
rhythm and intonation drills, listening development, shadowing exercises. And on top of all that,
you get weekly group accent training sessions hosted by me live so that you can apply
everything that you're learning in the system correctly. These sessions are held every Saturday
at 1 p.m. Eastern. And I've been doing it for a little over a year now. So you know that you
want to join you know that I'm going to be committed and sticking to it. Because in this group,
students are receiving live feedback and corrections. So I'm actually able to give some impactful
advice here. Newcomers are getting a personalized one-on-one onboarding session. Over this hour,
we identify your main pronunciation challenges, your accent patterns. And we come up with an
actual training plan, a road map, so that you know exactly what to focus on first.
Plus, everything that we train is recorded. And it's posted so that you can check it out any time
in case you happen to miss anything. Check out the link in the description for the accent
acceleration system and get ready for Saturday's upcoming call. And so folks, today's accent training
episode, number 300, is just aiming at shedding a little bit of light on what you can expect moving
forward. Video lessons and American accent group training support. And by the way, if you haven't
already, make sure that you're following the accent training podcast on Instagram. That is at the
