White Coat Superheroes: Queer-Inclusive Futures for Science & Medicine

In this special bonus episode of I’m Feeling Queer Today!, host Lily Mueller sits down with two generations of LGBTQ+ advocates working to make healthcare more equitable, accessible, and affirming for queer communities. First, researchers Milena Insalaco (she/they) and Dr. Viktor Clark (he/they) discuss the real-world impact of Trump’s first 100 days in office: attacks on LGBTQ+ research, diversity initiatives, and medical funding Plus, why queer representation in healthcare and academia can be lifesaving. Then, OBGYN and longtime LGBTQ+ advocate Dr. Patty Robertson (she/her) reflects on her journey from coming out before Stonewall to decades of work in reproductive justice and queer family-building.

Together, these conversations explore what it means to keep showing up for queer people in moments of fear and uncertainty, and how community, mentorship, and care can help us survive and thrive.
