Thank you very much for joining our broadcast today.
I appreciate every minute that I'm with you because it gives me the opportunity to share
some very important news for you to hopefully consume as fact, as facts that you could take
to the bank, gives you a greater understanding of what really is going on without worrying
about whether the news that you're receiving from us is editorialized, if it was spliced
and cut and diced to fit a political agenda or one's political narrative. Unfortunately,
and you've heard me say this over and over again, I probably will say it as time goes on
because it is a fact. We don't have a media like we did years ago. Journalism died long,
long time ago. I was this my reporter, I guess a couple of months ago, well, how do you feel about
news broadcast today? How do you feel about journalism today? I said, well, news broadcast,
I don't feel one way or another. It is what it is, but journalism doesn't exist very much in
America anymore. There's no longer any journalism. By the way, folks, think about this.
Somebody the other day asked me for a newspaper. I said, newspaper, I haven't seen a newspaper
in years. Now, there's some local papers that I've seen around, but not the major newspaper
outlets that we had years ago. I used to deliver papers. Yeah, as a kid in school to make a few bucks,
throwing them on people's porches in their driveways. You know, I mean, bad weather. Got plastic
bags. Yep, we put them newspapers in plastic bags and threw them on the porches in their driveways.
That was the way it was. We read newspapers. We read magazines. Vick magazines get a magazine
today. You're lucky you got 10 pages and eight out of 10 pages are advertisements. Where do you
think of that, folks? My point is this, we're not getting fed information that we were years ago.
There are no, there's no one seems to me as writing the news. You know, I mean, they're interpreting
the news and then they're shaping their opinions and embedding it in the news. At least that's the way
I see it. That's the way I see it. But the fact of the matter is is that we've got to deal with it
today. We got to do the best we could in order to understand what's going on around us in order
for us to address the problems that we're facing. Now, before I get into a lot of the questions,
and maybe let's just get into one question. There's so many that would take 10 broadcasts to answer
them all. But I want to answer the question, who really started the war with Iran? Who really
started it? Because there are people in this country, including congressional representatives who
should know better, who are clearly stating to the American people that's the president of the
United States who started the war. It's the United States Navy that started the war. It's the
United States Army, Marines, Air Force, all of our military personnel started the war. Really?
You got to wonder how deep in the sand the heads of these people have been. But before I get
into that, I don't want to miss one important fact. To begin with, I want to extend my sympathies
and the sympathies of the America out loud new family are sincerest condolences to the families
of all the U.S. service members who lost their lives in the recent attacks on Assad and military
days recently. Sad folks, terrible. In war, there are losses. And when those losses come, we all
get hurt. The events, the events folks that are unfolding in Iran and the actions of our heroes
in uniform, that is what represents the genuine cost of freedom. Our war fighters are courageously
fighting in Iran and globally. That's right, not just in Iran, but they're fighting all over the
globe for the preservation of freedom, not only in some of the countries that they are fighting it,
but for the United States of America. And despite these unbelievable ridiculous negative reports
added in news media, I believe that most Americans, like you and me, understand the reasons for this
conflict. The heroes. The heroes that have sacrificed their lives for this country in all conflicts
and now this one, they were meaningful. They were not in vain. They were meaningful and never
forget that. Well, as I mentioned time and time again, it is shocking and it is appalling to see
reports of American leaders. And I'm talking about those in the United States Congress, some senators,
some congressmen. There are others on state and local levels, but they continue to question our
intentions in our military actions during wartime. What's even more troubling is hearing that some
members of our Congress, now this is really going to get you mad if you didn't hear this, voted
against a resolution declaring Iran the largest state sponsor of terrorism. Yes, voted against not
against a resolution calling Iran out as one of the largest state sponsors of terrorism
in the world and perhaps even, probably even in the history of mankind. How do you do that? How do
you vote against that type of resolution? Now, you find out who these people are in Congress
and then, doesn't matter, Republican, Democrat, Independent, you find out who they are, you should
give them a phone call, let them know that you are going to make sure that they are going to be
defeated in their next election or reelection because you're going to go out and you're going to
vote against them and urge others to vote against them. To say a part of the story is probably
without a doubt, there will be people who will support them, who will vote for them. And yet,
the impact, I'm talking about the negative impact on the morale, the welfare, the feelings,
the emotions of not only those who are in uniform and their families, but all of us
for Americans, we should be outraged. We should truly show our outrage over what these individuals
did. You know who's not outraged? You know who's applauding? President Xi over there in Communist
China, Vladimir Putin over there in Moscow, the government of what's left of it of Iran,
they have been emboldened to take very serious actions against us, believing now that there's
great division in the United States of America, not because of you and me, but because of some of the
people we elected to office, it's time to get them out. I mean, folks, they got to go. They got
to go. Hey, it's one thing not wanting to stand for the victims of terrorism, not wanting to stand
with the whole world watching during the state of the Union message for our country. It's another
thing actually voting for the bad guys. That's right. They don't want to hear this, but I'm going
to tell it. You all who voted against that resolution that would call out Iran as a state sponsor,
a terrorism, the largest one, you have shown your support for the enemies of this country.
That's my belief and that's a belief, I believe, of probably the majority of Americans.
Shame on you. Shame, shame, shame on you.
Additionally, we continue to hear from politicians who state that we should be at the negotiating
table with Iran and then furthermore, they continue to just beat the drum as to who started this war.
Israel started this war. It's Israel's fight, not ours. That's what we hear. No, no, no,
America started this war and America is dragging the entire world into a world war. No, no, no,
that's not true. Boy, again, how deep are their heads in the sand? Gotta be really deep.
Well, anyway, I think what we need to do is to turn the clock back in history and let's share some
lost and forgotten facts regarding the beginning of this war. I happen to be here when this war
started 47 years ago and you know what? A lot of people either have forgotten about this or they
know about it and they want to forget about it because when the facts are made clear,
the majority of the American people will understand why we are at war with Iran because it was Iran.
In November of 1979, who stormed our US Embassy in Toronto, they occupied that embassy,
they detained 66 Americans, including 52 diplomats and staff members, including some Marines.
Now, this action was taken in response to the United States' support for former Shah Mohammed
Reza Halalabi. Now, his grandson, I believe, is the one who's seeking to become the leader of Iran
at this point. But for those of you who don't know much history about the relationship between
Iran under the leadership of the Shah at that time in the United States, it was good. Not saying he
was a good guy, he was not much of a good guy, but they did have freedoms there in Iran.
They did have liberties and they were an ally of the United States. But you know what, a dictator,
there's a dictator. There were a lot of things going on that we were not in support of, but we
needed a strong ally in addition to Israel in the Middle East and the Shah actually stepped up
and became our ally. But because of that, you've got these lunatics as the Secretary of State
describes them as in Iran, these militants. They decide one day that they're going to take
things into their own hands. They storm the embassy and there we got it. We're seeing the smoke
come out of the windows, the windows being broken. Next thing you know, they're marching our American
citizens out of the embassy blindfolded, bloodied. Some of them were smacked around and beaten and
dragged out of the embassy with their hands tied behind their backs and dragged, dragged across
the front lawn and I don't know, put into a truck and shipped off to some undisclosed location.
66 of them, including a few Marines. So despite several months of diplomatic efforts,
well, it's Iran folks, negotiations were unsuccessful. In April of 1980,
to year later, after the storming of our embassy, President Jimmy Carter, he approved of a
military operation aimed at rescuing the 53 hostages. Or at least 53 out of the 66. I believe
some of them. And again, a little bit unclear in this part of history. I believe some of the 66
somehow were released for whatever reason. I believe that the Iranian government was trying to
use them as negotiating tools in order to get exactly what they wanted. Well, it didn't work out
very well for them at that time. Well, I should say it didn't work out very well for us until
something very significant happened. We'll get to that in a minute. So what should have happened?
Well, Jimmy Carter waited too long. He didn't want to drop bombs on Iran. He didn't want to go
after the militants. He didn't want to do anything, anything that at least in his view would jeopardize
the lives of the hostages. Well, the lives have already been jeopardized. And the Iranians actually told
Kill Carter that if he didn't key to their demands, they would kill the hostages. They would kill
our citizens. So here's what happens. President Jimmy Carter, with the United States joint
chiefs of staff supporting him, approves of Operation Eagle Claw. Now, that was a mission that
brought together 118 elite Delta Force soldiers and personnel from all branches of the U.S.
Army Navy Marines. Therefore, they're all there, right? The plan called for Helicopters to
carry our troops to a desert staging area known as Desert 1. I remember this very, very clearly.
And after they landed over at Desert 1, they were going to move on to Turan for an embassy raid.
They were going to raid the embassy because they apparently joined intelligence sources
still had or had information that the hostages were in the embassy, taken out, allegedly transported
somewhere that we didn't know, but somehow, some way, we received information that they were
back in the embassy with, of course, their captors. Now, although 8 helicopters were sent,
only 5 arrived ready for action because the remaining one of those, the remaining helicopters,
they had mechanical failures, hydraulic failures. There were sandstorms they ran into,
and a lot of cracked rotor blades. Could you imagine that? Could you imagine this was going on
during a rescue mission? Since at least 6 operational helicopters were required. Well,
they aborted the mission. They decided to tell those pilots, bring those helicopters back.
We're going to endanger the lives of those rescuers. Just bring those troops back. We don't need
more death and destruction on our hands. Well, here's what happens. We had other U.S. forces that
went a little later. They were ready to go. Well, they landed, or at least attempted the land in
the desert. One helicopter crashed into a transport plane carrying troops and fuel, ignited a fire
that destroyed both the helicopter and the aircraft and killed 8 Americans. So we had Americans die
anyway, with regard to what became a very, very widespread news item for those to criticize our
government with. And unfortunately, we lost on that one. And the hostages remained with their
captives in Turin. And then it happened. After all the threats against America, all the bullying of
Jimmy Carter, who did absolutely nothing before or after these these attempted failed at rescue
missions, there was an election for the American presidency. And Ronald Reagan got elected.
Now I remembered this very clearly. Ronald Reagan puts his right hand up and his left hand on
the Bible. And he's being sworn in as the president of the United States of America replacing
Jimmy Carter. Not a minute. If the Ronald Reagan went to the podium to give his speech
at the inauguration on the, not at the Capitol, a message came in that the hostages were freed.
They were set free on their way to an Air Force base, a U.S. Air Force base in Germany.
What happened? Ronald Reagan made it very clear, very, very clear during his,
his run for the presidency, his campaign, that Iran would pay a heavy, heavy, heavy price
if he becomes president. And those hostages are killed. He made it clear. It was clear to every
American that brought no Reagan. And may I have probably very clear or no doubt very clear
to the Iranians at that time. Now Ronald Reagan would have used the might of the United States
military to force Iran to free our hostages. They would have paid way back then a very heavy price.
They would have known we America means business. That's the reason why Iran released
those hostages minutes after Ronald Reagan became president of the United States of America.
That's the real reason why. So who started the war? Who started the war?
Fifth, 47 years ago. Wasn't Jimmy Carter? Although I'll tell you what, the guy tried,
although it's not, he did try, but he could have taken tough action way before that,
but he didn't. But he tried eventually. He didn't start the war. The United States military
didn't start the war. Iran started the war. Ronald Reagan didn't start this war. I ran
it 47 years ago. And by the way, no Donald Trump, Israel didn't start the war. The American people
didn't start the war. The lunatics in Iran started the war 47 years ago. And for 47 years,
they have killed, maimed, tortured, beaten, people from all walks of life all around the world
through the production of IEDs, explosive devices that they just put out on highways and byways
and blow up no matter who's driving over them. Responsible for the naming and killing of American
troops during the Iraq war had something to do with the bombing of the USS Cole, a US Navy
warship years ago. All this is going on over a 47 year period. Nobody's doing anything. Oh,
I must say there was somebody doing something. The United States Congress, they were having their
meetings, their commissions, they were having their investigations. They were getting on a news
on C-SPAN. Wow, we're going to do this and we're going to do that. And they do nothing.
Absolutely nothing. You're going to hear me say that a lot on this broadcast because I'm hoping
to get that through everybody's head that the people that are being elected to office, not all of
them. We got some real good ones there. Unfortunately, you don't hear much about them because they're
the good guys. They're doing what's right. They're not running to the microphone. They're not
running to get publicity. In fact, some of them aren't even wearing for office anymore,
sadly to say, because we don't want to lose the good guys. We want to keep them in office.
But many of them, maybe far too many of them at this point, are more interested in their
political careers and their political agenda and the survival of their political party than the
survival of the people of the United States of America. And that's what I believe that many people
across this country believe. But should this not be enough proof that the doubters of what I'm saying
to the doubters of those who are out there saying, look, give me evidence that President Trump
started this war. Give me evidence that the United States of America started this war. Give me
the evidence. There is not all we got evidence. Who fired the first shots? Well, let's talk about
that. It is real fired the first shots. You think so? Really? October 7th. Do we remember that day
October 7th? Do you know who is behind October 7th? Hmm. Interesting, isn't it? So, all right,
so if it wasn't Israel, it had to be America. Okay. When did we fire the first shot? Well,
Mr. Rogers, you see all these missiles and bombs and jets and aircraft carriers and ships being sent
out to the peaceful, quiet waters off the coast of Iran? Yeah. So, what's that all about?
When you start pushing it right back in their face, they have no answers. The reason why the
ships were sent there was that Iran was ready, willing and able to fire missiles directly into
Israel. And now that we know, they were ready to fire missiles all over the region, destabilizing
the reason and really possibly dragging us into a world war. But we had to do something because
there are reports that they are rebuilding their nuclear weapons arsenal. And I believe the
President is right that given the chance they will not hesitate on firing a nuclear weapon
at the United States of America, let alone Israel and now maybe some of those
average states are horrible. These people are lunatics. So, who started the war?
They did 47 years ago. Who did nothing for 47 years? We did nothing. Israel did everything they
could with the little help they got over the years. But now that there's a new administration
or office and our military is back very, very strong. I mean, you could see what's going on in
that country Iran. I just find it amazing that the Iranian government has lasted this long.
Do you think that's incredible folks? I'll tell you what, it's incredible. But I learned that the
type of government they have is you could cut off the head of the snake. But there are a lot of
snakes now. They got a system where if the head of the snake, in this case the Ayatollah,
the guy in charge of the country gets killed, well, all of the authority does not go down to one
person yet. It goes down to several people as if each governor in each province, in each state.
I don't know what they call them, all right? I don't know what they call their leaders. Well,
that's just for the sake of explanations. You got a governor in each state, in each province,
in each region that makes up Iran. And they conduct their own affairs now. They call the shots.
So, on the east side of Iran, if that governor wants to fire a missile at the United Arab Emirates,
he could do it. He don't need anybody at the head of government because there's nobody there.
And the guy, the governor on the west side of Iran, he wants to fire a missile, let's say at
Egypt or something. Well, he could do it. Doesn't need permission. Nothing's coordinated there
right now. This is firing missiles all over the place. Now, one of the reasons why they are hitting
some of the other Arab states is because you talk about a miscalculation. This is how dumb they are.
They start hitting people who were friendly to them. At the most, you know, absolutely,
at the most an ally of theirs, at the worst neutral. They were not on anybody side for the most part.
They don't want to get involved in this. And they didn't. But all of a sudden,
they get targeted by the Iranian government. Isn't that crazy? Well, it backfired because now all
those Arab states are looking towards the United States of America to help them to help them
address this problem. And soon, I believe soon, you're going to see missiles flying out of Saudi
Arabia and some of those other Arab countries right smack into Iran. It's got to be done.
It's got to be done. So now, the guy that got elected after the Ayatollah was killed,
believe it or not, is the Ayatollah son, politics, folks, all politics. So perhaps he's the next
person on the Israeli's target list. They're not going to go away. They're not going to go away.
And until the people of Iran rise up the way they did a few weeks ago, and I listen,
I know they're concerned and they're worried that if they do that, another 30,000 will be killed
by their own government. So we've got some issues there. We've got to help them with. Don't
expect the United Nations. What a waste. NATO, they may want to get involved. Don't you think they
should? A missile was shot from Iran into Turkey and NATO country. Isn't Article 5 say, if one
NATO country is hit, we're all hit. We all got to come in and protect each other. Where are the
European nations, right? Where are they? You know, it is laughable, isn't it? Where the heck are they?
If this wasn't so serious, it would be laughable. NATO ceases to exist as far as I'm concerned.
It's only when their backyard is invaded that they want us. Unbelievable. Again, another story
and another time. So anyway, folks, 47 year war to answer the question. Who really started the war
with Iran? Iran. 47 years ago. And now the president of the United States is going to end it
so that the next generation of America's don't have to deal with these lunatics. And lunatics,
they are. Matthew 24-6, you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. But see to it that you are not
alone. Such things must happen. But the end is still to come. Yep. This is just the beginning.
God bless you all and God bless America.

Now is our time, my fellow Americans, America Outmau.news, liberty and justice for all.
Ladies and gentlemen, thank you for joining us on our broadcast. This is the second half hour of
our one hour broadcast here on America Out Loud News. You know, for many, many years,
I've seen like you have people fall into a lot of despair, a lot of problems, a lot of
difficulties. And there are unlimited, unlimited numbers of people we could go to for help,
therapists and sociologists, psychologists and psychiatrists, the people in the medical
profession, mental health people. I mean, thank God we have a country with a wide, I mean,
a tremendous amount of resources that we can go to in the event that we need professional help.
Look at the diseases that we've been able to cure. Look at the medications that we have today,
perhaps far too many some will argue, but my point is there's always a place to go for a lot
of the problems that we are facing. But I've got to tell you, there is absolutely no denying that we
are living today. We are living and we are experiencing challenging times on a global scale.
White spread unrest exists across many regions of the world. We've got conflicts emerging
on nearly every continent. In fact, I got to tell you, sadly to say it seems like we have conflicts
emerging on every corner in every neighborhood and every city and every state across America.
The economies are facing significant downturns. They're deep divisions within many nations
that have brought some to the verge of a civil war. Now these circumstances, I got to tell you,
they're causing considerable physical, emotional and mental distress from millions of individuals,
worldwide. Many of whom are seeking ways to cope with the resulting worry, anxiety, depression,
and stress brought on by these unbelievable unprecedented challenges. Yeah, unprecedented,
especially affecting our young people who have access to news media outlets,
TV outlets, radio outlets, and more, let's say demonstratively, the internet, streaming right
into their brains, violence, division, hatred. I mean, on and on and on. Make no mistake about it.
Our children are being affected adversely by what they see and what they hear via the
transmissions that are now being broadcasted through a lot of the networks around the country
and around the world. Now, there are several individuals who have indicated that they have
pursued medications, therapy, counseling, and all kinds of approaches to alleviate the
discomfort they are facing. That is a good thing. Go for help. Don't be ashamed to pick up the phone.
Say, look, I got some problems. I need some help. Can you help me? You know,
God has gifted a lot of people on this earth with a lot of talents and skills that can help you.
And believe me, I've heard people on some radio talk shows and I've talked to some people that
would lead to believe that, man, they're going to go up the edge. They need help. They really do.
I worry about people that get that close to the edge. And I do take action. I do make a phone call.
I urge them first to make a phone call. And if they don't, well, I make a phone call and I make it
anonymously. Yep. And eventually, you find out, thank God, I made the call. I mean, it's not
dozens of people. I think one or two of my lifetime. But the fact is, the way they were talking to me
concerned me enough that they were going to go off the edge. You don't want to see that happen.
So it's very, very important, especially those of you who are on the internet a lot in the chat room
a lot, you get somebody in there who starts talking about taking their own life.
Somebody in that chat room that is alarming you as to what they may do to themselves or even
worse, somebody else. You might want to do everything you could to try to get them into a conversation
and find out where they are. And if not, well, get in touch with the, you know, right now the time
to date the chat room and find out the provider that your internet provider. I know it's going to
take a little work. You report it to the police first, all right. And I'm sure we got enough
technology today where they may be able to track that person down at least try. At least try. But
my point is there are resources out there to get help. But most individuals, most, most individuals,
not everyone who've conveyed the challenges they are experiencing to me at least have not
discussed one, one area that they can go into in order to help them meet the challenges that
they're facing. And that is the spiritual dimensions of everything that we are facing around the
world today. I said over and over again, I'm convinced we're involved in a spiritual warfare,
pretty big one. Something a lot of people don't accept. They don't accept it because maybe they
don't understand it. And maybe they just don't want to believe it. But believe me, believe me,
based on what I've read, based on what I've researched, I have no question in my mind that we are
engaged in a spiritual warfare. Good against evil. There it is, the battle lines. Now, as I said
earlier, we often seek out every available solution, every available problem solver to treat physical,
mental, and emotional pain. And it's good. I'm glad that those resources are there. But what about
our spiritual condition? Does anybody really talk about that? Does anybody really want to sit down
and say, you know, I got a problem. And how do I address it? And then when you say, well,
have you gotten help? Well, I've seen this doctor, that doctor, I've taken this pill, that pill.
Well, have you ever, have you ever prayed? Have you ever had a conversation with God?
Now, I've actually asked that question to people who have come to me for help over the years.
And to my surprise, every single person but one, and there with dozens, and I honestly mean this
wrong, every single person but one, listen carefully. And they thank me for sharing with them,
what I believe to be part of a solution to the dark days that they were walking in,
and that solution happened to be Jesus Christ, had to be God Almighty. Except one.
And I believe that particular one actually went on the internet at some point in time,
and criticized me as an elected official who came to me with a problem. And all Mr. Rogers left me
with is that he would put me on his perilous, and his door was open any time if he ever needed
anybody to help. Criticize me for praying, for telling him I would pray for him. Could you believe
that? Not about corruption, not about being a thief or crook or anything like that. I mean,
I mean, I was never ever part of that gang. And I got criticized for not being part of that gang,
right? Because I offered something that I believe would address the spiritual condition.
The spiritual health of this individual. And I tell people, I'm not a priest, I'm not an
evangelist, a minister, nothing like that. I'm just a regular person who's journeyed this life,
who's been successful, a lot of pain. Oh, a lot of pain, folks. You know, there was a,
I've read a few books, and in one of the books, I remember putting on the, I believe the first page,
a quote I believe it was by Queen Elizabeth, all right? Some Queen of England, if I remember,
said that it is easier or it is more relaxing for the person looking at the crown on the head of
the person who wears the crown. Life is better for the person looking at the crown on the head of the
person than wearing the crown. And boy, when I got involved in politics, boy, I knew a real truth to
that. It may look great. It may look glorious. It may look fun. It may look powerful. It may look
really good, being an individual in a position of power and influence, but as time goes on,
if you're walking those shoes, if you've got that crown on your head, really, folks, there's a time
when you say, can't wait to take it off. Can't wait. And that's happening today with a lot of our
political people. They're being mentally tortured. The good guys I'm talking about, the bad guys,
they don't care. They're corrupt. They're liars. They're cheats. They look out for themselves.
Not all of them. Let me get that straight, not all of them. Most of them, I want to believe most
of them are good guys, but I'm beginning to believe that most of them are not. But that's a problem
that they have to overcome, not me. I'll get off on a tangent. So let's talk about get back to
the spiritual conditions of people. After they've tried everything, they've tried the therapist,
they've tried the sociologist, the doctors, et cetera. It's a good thing. Go to these people.
They're good people that dedicated and committed to the well-being of fellow human beings.
So please go to them. But add to your list of individuals that you may seek out, add to your pastor,
add your priest. Add to a friend who you know is someone who has talked to you about a strong
belief in God and faith and trust in the Lord. I ain't going to hurt you. I've recommended that
individuals consider incorporating a true, honest, forgiveness spiritual approach as an additional
avenue for addressing the problems and pains they are experiencing. Another word, get this.
I'll put it in two words. Sure, some of you have heard this. Try God.
Try God. We used to have buttons, little lapel buttons, that had the words try God on them.
We had these wristbands. You've seen wristbands, right? Classic wristbands.
There are all kinds of messages on them. Try God. And I've got to tell you folks, I remember years
ago I was driving from one place to another. And many times, in those days, we'd see all kinds of
bumper stickers, especially around election day, vote for this person, vote for that person.
And then there would be some corporation bumper stickers, support this, support that.
Non-profit corporations give here, give there. But the one bumper sticker that stuck in my mind,
even until today had two words on it. Try God. A simple message would profound impact. Think about
it. I'm praying for something. I'm asking for something. I'm looking for something. I'm running
around like a chicken with out of head. And this person to that person, I need help with this.
I need help with that. How do I solve this? How do I solve that? In the meantime, getting distress,
getting depressed, taking aspirants. I can't sleep. On and on and on. Nobody to help me.
I remember saying that to myself years ago. I got nobody to guide me through this storm.
I go to people, friends, they're good people, they put their hands on my back. The old pat in the back,
they look anything you need. Let me know. But I came to you. I need this. I need that. But you
can't give it to me because basically what I needed was peace of mind. And that's what you need
right now. Peace of mind. But you're not going to get that until you go to the Prince of Peace.
He has a name. His name is Jesus. Jesus Christ. Right? He's God. So my question to you is,
have you tried God? You've tried everything else. Why won't you try him? Now, what some of you might
say, well, I tried him, but hasn't worked out very well. I have learned in life that when you try
God with all your heart, soul and spirit, you go down that road. Listen, things aren't going to
happen overnight. You know, a bit full of roses is going to blossom in the morning. The morning
sun isn't going to come up and give you a beautiful day. But you'll be putting God's plan
into action for your good. So when I looked at that bumper sticker that said try God, it made me think
why not? So many people make every effort to maintain their physical, mental and emotional health.
Yet oftentimes the spiritual effort trying God is overlooked. Now, here's something else I'd
like you to think about. When you're hungry, like when I get hungry, where do we go? We run to a
place where we can fill our stomachs, a restaurant, a diner at home, the refrigerator,
a food pantry, run right to that place. Let's get something to eat. And boy, it's there. Pop and
popcorn in our mouth, hamburgers, hot dogs, whatever it is. We just start stuffing our mouth because
our stomach's empty. Nothing wrong with that. That's what we do. We're hungry. Now, when you're thirsty,
what do you do? You ever have one of them hot days? You're dying of thirst. You run right to a
water fountain. You run in a store and get a bottle of water. You're at home. You run to the kitchen
sink, water, soda, whatever you like to drink. You go and you get it. Why? Because you want to quench
your thirst. Logical, right? You solve that problem. Now, when you have a headache and you have
some illness that you've got to deal with, where do you go? You'll go to the medicine cabinet.
You'll get an aspirin. You'll get a pill that a doctor prescribed to you. You'll go to the pharmacy.
You'll go here. You'll go there to get rid of the headache or to help ease the pain that you
are suffering as a result of an illness. So, once we notice symptoms that prompt us to seek help,
we go out and we get those things that can help us relieve those symptoms and get rid of that pain.
But sometimes, maybe most of the time, some of the pains we suffer appear without any warning.
And it's only when the problem has progressed to a point that we are depressed and distressed
and that we feel hopeless and helpless and there's no place else to go. It's only at that time
that we realize that something is seriously, seriously wrong and that we've got to find a very,
very different way of dealing with it. So, go to the professionals. I repeat that a million times.
Go. They will help you guide along the way that you are now facing if you're in the situation right
now. Go. Do it. Nothing wrong with that. But add, add to what you're doing, whether it be with a
doctor, psychologist, therapist, whatever way you're doing it. And you still don't seem to be getting
there. Remember these two words, try God. Look at, consider this. Where do you turn your heart
when it is broken? Where do you turn your heart when you are overwhelmed by life's changes?
In life's challenges. Where do you go? Where do you go when there's no peace? As I said earlier,
you've got to go through the Prince of Peace as one avenue, as one person. Yeah, person.
Jesus Christ is a person. The guy ain't dead. He's alive and well. Read the story.
Read the story. He's alive and well. And he said, when he left this earth, I am leaving,
but I'm sending you another comforter. And he did. The Holy Spirit of God. And whether you believe
it or not, whether you understand it or not, because frankly, I don't understand it, but I believe
that the Holy Spirit of God interwells within all of us. And I use the illustration. All he's waiting
for us to do is to activate him. Is to activate him. And we activate him by trying God,
by accepting Christ as our Savior, by giving our life over to him. All it is. It's so simple.
It is so simple, but people don't do it. They don't believe it. They don't want to do it. They don't
want to understand it so they don't understand it. They don't do it. A lot of things I don't
understand about God in the Bible, but I do believe in the stories written in the Bible because they're
not novels. They're not fiction. They're real life stories. They're, it's a history of the creation
of man leading up to the history that you and I are making today as human beings on this earth.
You are part of God's plan. He don't want to see you harm. He said, I have come to prosper you,
not to harm you. And he's not just talking about prosperity and the sense of material things.
He's talking about prospering you by giving you peace through the storms,
giving you answers to your prayers, the desires of your hearts. As long as those things don't hurt
you, they're yours. Yours to take. But the way to get there is like the way to get to a solution
to a mental health issue, the way to get to a solution to solve a problem that you have.
The way to get to a solution for a headache is to go to the right place.
The way to go and get a solution for peace of mind through the challenges and storms that you have
and to get the help you need to get through those challenges, you got to go to the solution.
And when man once said to me, look, the longer you'll look at the problem, the bigger it gets.
But the longer you'll look at Jesus Christ, the bigger he gets.
What do you think of that? Try God. What's wrong with that? What's wrong with trying God?
I've asked that question to a lot of people. And they said to me over and over again,
well, you know, I don't know if it'll really work. It works. But you won't know until you try God,
correct? So I believe that the people you go to, all the professionals that I mentioned,
they're gifted and they are gifts from God Almighty to those of us who need their help.
I really believe that. And I pray for them and God, I say, bless them every single day
because whether they believe in God or not, they have been given that gift to help you,
to help anyone who is in a certain kind of need. Now, it's believed that everyone who has those gifts,
it is believed that truly, they are very talented and skillful people who truly got their
skills and gifts from God. But how about this? How about this? How about you got a gift from God?
I got a gift from God. I'm not talking about the skills and talents that he's given all of us.
Some may believe, oh, you don't have a skill or talent. You do. Maybe you haven't discovered it
yet, but you have it. But you know what the gift that God gave you gave me? You ready?
The gift that he gave you and me was his word, the word of God. That's written in the Bible.
What a gift. That is a gift. That is the history of man. You want to know the beginning of creation,
start with the book of Genesis. You want to know how it ends? Well, you're going to go through
one heck of a journey through the 66 books of the Bible. Every paragraph, every page is the truth,
the whole truth and nothing but the truth. And there are some difficult days, dark days, stormy
days. There is a lot of action in the Bible. Yep. Wars, bloodshed, destruction, judgment, a lot.
But the key to all of that is salvation. Because the Bible talks about the creation of man and then
bringing into the world sin and therein lies the beginning of it all, the beginning of all our
problems. Sin. And so that doesn't mean you're a sin. You know, you're a person being punished or
you have your problems because of sin. That. We're all sinners. I'm a sinner. The Bible says we are
all sinners. We all sure fought the glory of God. But the other part of the story is Jesus Christ
has offered us a gift. God has offered us a gift of his son, Jesus, who was crucified on that cross,
shed his blood so that all of our sins may be forgiven. And that's it. You want to try God?
Try that. Try going to him. You don't have to be on your knees. Be nice if you were. But go to
him. Talk to him. Say, Lord, I got to tell you something. I don't understand how this works,
but I'm going to try God. And here's how I'm going to do it. The Bible says that no man coming to
the Father, but by me. I am the way to truth in the life. No man coming to the Father, but by me.
So go the way. Go to the truth and bring into your life his life and bring your life into his life.
Okay. And here's how you do. All you got to do is say something like this. It's simple. Just say
something like this. Lord, I may not understand all of what's going on with this Bible and
when I'm reading in the Word of God, but I'm going to take a step in faith and do the best I could
to understand it. But in the meantime, I would like very much for you to help me understand you.
And I accept you as my Savior. I accept the fact that you came to this earth and shed your blood so
that my sins shall be forgiven. And here's some of the sins that I've committed that I'm sorry for.
Don't remember all of them. I know you do, but I pray that you forgive me for my sins.
And now now I ask you to take control of my life. I accept you as my Father, in heaven,
and my Savior, and my friend. In Jesus' name, I pray, amen. That's it. Yeah, that's it.
Did the earth shake? No. Won't the lightning strike? No. But something is transforming in your life
right now. I believe that. Now, if you do that, you know what? Sit back, relax a little,
and go back in your business. But don't forget him now. I recommend you go and you get a Bible.
If you don't have one, go to a store, right? Go to a store, go to a bookstore, find a Bible.
I recommend you get what's called the New King James version of the Bible because it's really simple
to understand. I've had problems in the past with the those and vows of the King James version.
But there are several versions of the Bible. I recommend the New King James version.
And there are different pastors and evangelists and great men and women of God who actually
published Bibles, helped us understand it. The pastor David Jeremiah, you remember that name?
He has a great Bible out with commentary. Make sure you get a Bible with commentary.
These are pastors and great men and women of God explaining what a lot of these scriptures
really mean. So you got David Jeremiah, Charles Spurgeon, one of the greatest, greatest evangelists
known to mankind. Charles Stanley, I mean there's a limitless number of them. But those are the
three that I trust the most. So if you want to follow my lead on that by all means, I don't think
you'll be disappointed. So where do you start? You get yourself a Bible and make some time.
That's five minutes a day. Five minutes a day. How's that? All right. You take five minutes a day.
And what do you do? Well, how about starting? People ask me, well, where do I start in the Bible?
By the time I get to the end of it, I'll be a hundred years old. I say this, start in the book of
Psalms. The book of Psalms. That was written by King David when he was going through the most
difficult times of his life. And in that book, the book of Psalms, you'll find food for your soul.
You'll find some mending for your broken heart. You'll find hope. You'll find love.
You'll find acceptance and you will find peace of mind, at least in my view, in the book of Psalms.
The book of Proverbs is wonderful also. There's a lot of wisdom in the book of Proverbs.
You want some guidance on how to conduct yourself at home on the job at school or whatever
the book of Proverbs. So you go to Psalms and you go to Proverbs and I've got news for you. He will
not let you down. No, he will not. Jesus Christ will not let you down and he will make it very
clear to you. Now, once you accept him, you can be sure he will keep his word that I will never
leave the over safety. John 635, I am the bread of life. Remember, Jesus said, man cannot live on
bread alone. That's right. You can't live on the bread of man, the food of man. Man cannot live
on bread alone. But on every word that comes out of the mouth of God. Now, John 635, I am the
bread of life. Whenever comes to me, we'll never go hungry and whoever believes in me will never
be thirsty. Remember, try God. God bless you all.
