I'm one of those people who will happily eat steak at eggs any time of the day.

I guess in the NFC South, it doesn't matter because they were all the same last year,
but in the other cases, they matter a little bit.
What's your latest week one hope for us, not Kansas City?
I don't care about it.
Oh, well, I mean, if you really want to know, if we're really talking,
it's not opponent specific at all or day of the week specific.
I just, I want them to be at home week one,
so they're not at home week two,
because the Borderline Festival is week two,
and that, like, for that, not for me, I mean, whatever,
I'd be less convenient for me too.
But just for the festival, I would rather they be on the road.
Like, I think it impacts their Sunday attendance
if there's a home bills game.
So, we've been pretty lucky.
Most last year was, they played the Jets away.
Great year before that.
The game was on a Thursday that week.
Perfect festival is on a Friday.
So I'm hoping they open at home and have the big stadium thing,
and this all this talk about waiting a week
to give the stadium more of a spotlight,
because, you know, week one is week one.
I hope that all is nonsense.
I don't think it is, but I just wish they,
I want them to be on the road in week two mostly.
I'm more worried about week two
than I am anything else right now for myself.

All teams probably have with back-to-back home
or back-to-back road.

Frankly, if it were week two,
that might work out okay for me still, too,
with the festivals over.
Festival like go is still, somebody will be playing still,
but whatever, it's all, you know, it's about to end.
So that would be fine with me, too.
But I would expect whenever that game is week one,
week two, or even week three, like you're saying,
I think prime time is warranted.
I mean, the bills are that caliber of team.
Alan is that caliber of star.
You've got a new stadium opening.
I almost want to say I'd be surprised
if that game isn't highlighted by the league
in some prime start.
Whenever they're first Sunday night, Monday night even.
I mean, they could play week two at home on Monday night.
Perfect.
That also solves my dilemma for me.
So, you know, I'd be fine.
But I almost feel like it deserves Sunday night.

My latest favorite idea is Ravens.
Even though they just did that.
Yeah.
But so much linkage with the Ravens, Alan, and Lamar Jackson,
of course, both teams new coaches in a new stadium.
I mean, that's one of the games of the year last year.
Both teams tried but failed to trade for Max Crosby.
Right.
Both teams can't get out of the AFC.
I mean, last year's game was 41-40.
That's a pretty high bar to clear.
Maybe we can make Josh Allen happy and not leave.
Because it's the first game of the stadium.
So we'll want to stay longer,
even though we do have school in the morning.
Yeah, that's my latest.
I mean, you almost can't go wrong.
But of course, that almost goes without saying
because it is a momentous occasion
and it's about the bills and the stadium
whoever you're playing.
But everybody on the schedule has either tradition,
kind of star power or both.
Everybody on, there's no, sorry.
There's no Columbus Blue Jackets.
I just thought of how I was ragging on them last week.
I went right back to it.
There's no panthers on the schedule.
There's no bad choice.
I think like Jets, dolphins, all the history,
we just had the stadium closed with the Jets, right?
So those are obvious.
New England is that plus.
That's a showcase game now.
Obviously Kansas City, y'all know, y'all know all this.
The Chargers this year, probably are good.
Like that's an interesting game.
Bears and Lions.
Right.
Yeah, those are, I mean, that's a playoff bearers team.
Detroit's Bennett playoff team.
And then Baltimore.
That's everybody.
So I don't know if there's a bad choice.
You want to put the game in prime time.
You're not going to probably put Miami
or the Jets here.
It's not going to be one of those two.
But anybody else rates, I think.
Yeah.
I think that's, I think that's right.
Just depends on how far you want to lean into the rival,
like, you know, Patriots now, they're not the chiefs yet
but they're in the division and they did take it from you
this year.
So that sort of amplifies that rivalry.
You know, I don't know, didn't need it.
I mean, whatever, they're fine.
They're good again.
And they beat you.
That works.
Like, they're, again, they're not the chiefs
or even the Ravens, but they're right there.
Like the caliber of that game to me,
I think they're interchangeable.
You're looking for, to get me the best game
you can get me for that opener.
Home opener, new stadium, I feel like the Patriots
are right on the same tier with the chiefs
and the Ravens now.
I'll throw out one more.
Well, I'll throw out a prediction.
I'm not sure I want to predict.
I mean, it's so hard to be right on these anyway.
The Baltimore idea.
But it's the Ravens I'm thinking of.
They had a week one Monday night game in Las Vegas.
And that's the kind of matchup I would like for the NFL,
for the opening weekend would be,
I mean, you might want to showcase Vegas.
There's change there.
Like it's sort of a, not, they're not good anymore,
but you know, it's a team that everybody knows.
Like there's a big market and you put like a buffalo
at Las Vegas on a Monday night week one.
That's good.
I mean, the bills aren't probably more
than like a three or four point favorite week one
on the road there because we don't know
who anybody is really at this year.
And, you know, I think that's interesting.
They also go to Denver for a playoff rematch.
They go to Lambo.
They go to Minnesota.
Alan's rookie year, they had those two games
where they back to back at Minnesota.
They were in the Green Bay game was kind of a disaster
and the Minnesota game was a riot.
They won.
Right.
You heard of the linebacker.
And then what's your one more this year?
Rams.
Oh, right.
Probably not in Australia.
Not in the almost definitely not in Australia.
Man, that's a really good schedule.
So I already know who they're playing
the Niners in Australia, I think.
So maybe.
Yeah, it's oh, maybe I thought I was.

And San Francisco has a game in Mexico also.

Man, there's no, there's no dog on that schedule.
Except like two AFC teams, maybe, but those are.
