The Selection Sunday committee granted Mark Few and the Gonzaga Bulldogs a five seed in the 2024 NCAA Tournament, and part of the reason was because of old WCC foe BYU, who got bumped to a six seed in order to accommodate their school policy to not play on Sunday's. Does that mean the Zags were overseeded? Not exactly, they are still higher in the NET and KenPom than multiple teams seeded five or higher.
