Can't get enough of the fan in the morning? Show no, because this is nothing like that. Working. Alan Jerry are here with stories they never get to cover on the morning show. Very sexy robot. Hey, look at that page. Shenanigans. Naked yoga. My mother had a bad experience with these ghosts. Let's hunt the fence. It's Alan Jerry's post game podcast. Hi, welcome inside the podcast. Since we are that much closer to the start of the NFL season, Aldux, how are you? You have to camp for some of the bitch. Oh, hi there, Jerry. Yeah, I was looking at the podcast we posted yesterday on YouTube. I was like, I'm going to take a look at the comments. I rarely look at the comments. I generally forget. Yeah. And I guess the way I was I'm sitting during the podcast, I'm like, slouch like this. Some guy wrote, hmm, Al got himself a nice pot belly during vacation. Doesn't have. I actually think I lost the way I'm vacation. You have no but the way I'm sitting, I could see what he's saying. The way I'm sitting slouch. What do you mean you confused? Oh, look like ET. I don't know about that one. Oh, yeah.
Speaking of the podcast me yesterday, it was a lot of AI talk. Yeah. You see the front page of the post now. No. This and boomer mentioned anthropic. I guess is in a building are going to be around here soon. Yes. So I guess someone just quit that company because he believes that they are building something too rapid that's going to kill us by the end of 2030. I hear this a lot of. Me too. I've never seen the post right put it out there like this. But I don't understand that no one's ever able to explain it to me. Well, the explanation is that the AI and we have robots that I guess are out there. There are the prototypes of them. Once they start to learn us and start to, I forget what the term is called. The actual term of it is called. But once it acquires the intelligence. Oh, they go when it becomes sentient. Yeah. That they will just take over and destroy us. I do not believe it. Can't you just unplug it? I know that sounds stupid and simplistic. Just take a baseball bat to my robot right across the robot head. It's still a robot that is power.
Yeah. Couldn't just unplug it. Yeah. So a bunch of things that I don't understand about AI. It taking over and killing us. I don't understand that data centers needing millions of gallons of fresh, fresh water. I've heard this too. Why? I've heard that. It's something just don't make sense. Yeah. I have heard that. He's telling us, there he goes, you know about the one AI. The guy tried to like sign off and it said, oh, yeah, I'll tell your wife about your affair. Where are you getting that from? What is that? What are your sources of that? What do you mean signing off? You just turn it off. This is what I mean. It's like dumb things. Do you hear about the guy who tried to unplug his computer and it told him it was going to tell his boss that he ripped off the company? Was that really a thing? I just, this is what I hear all the time on Joe Rogan. I don't know what he's talking about. That's funny. Well, anyway, that's just right now as we sit here and record this in the last hour that became front page news. Yeah, because I did see that was like trending on Twitter about this guy quit.
Well, again, I can't get AI to do even spit out real great 100% information. That's all I'm not worried about it yet. I'm not going to worry about it. It's going to kill us. It doesn't have to be 100% just have to make sure they hit us in the right spot. I suppose. But then what is the point of AI? They're nowhere to live or suck off our first water if it kills us all. That's true too. The animals will get us first, hopefully. Yeah. Well, okay. So I took a whimsy to the dog beach the other day. And there's an actual dog beach. Yeah, there's a, there's a small beach between the end of spring lake and the start of Belmar. It's very skinny and it's called the dog beach. You could bring your dog there starting at 6 p.m. until the sun sets. Okay. You got to get out of there. So people bring their dogs there. There's also one I think in Asbury Park. Again, another small section. So bring whimsy there. And my friends is there.
She's there with her dog. And the dogs are all smelling butts as dogs do. And she said, you know, your dog can get sick from sniffing another dog's butt. And then you can get the illness. I was like, what? She says, yeah, if your dog sniffs another dog's butt, it could get a parasite from sniffing ass. Yeah, from the, like the, you know, from, from butt juice or butt particles. And then if the dog, now you're kissing on your dog, now you got the butt juice. And now you could get whatever illness. She claims the vet told her that. Did you look up? I looked it up today. I said, can a dog get sick from sniffing another dog's butt? And it said, no, it cannot. I said, okay, they go, no, the dogs, this is how dogs learn about each other in sniffing butts. I go, what do they learn? They, that a dog sniffs another dog's butt to see is it is the dog friend or foe?
They can tell that by sniffing butt. If the dog is, has been spayed or neutered, they know. And they can learn other biological things about the dog by smelling its butt. We dropped this program for the WFA audience. We're going to title this ass sniffing dogs. They may not use them, probably have to use butt. Well, whatever. So you think humans have ever tried this? I then asked, that over sweetie, why don't humans do this? Right. And they said, oh, humans don't do this because we don't have the same six senses. Factory senses in our nose. And we can communicate and we can communicate and all this stuff. I said, okay, I said, let me ask you this, can a dog get sick from smelling another dog's poop? Yes. So the AI. So maybe this is where there was some confusion, smelling butts, smelling poop. That dog's gets so close. And I get attested as a whimsy gets, hard nose is practically, it is a millimeter away
from the feces that she's smelling. And that what happens is the dogs get so close that the feces, that tiny bit of feces get on it and that the dogs lick their nose and now rub your face with the dog. Yeah. And then that's how the human can then, feces face, get in contact with it and get sick from it. And then one of the humans gets so close, you know, and then the other dog has some butt sniffing but from poop sniffing. I think I want to throw up right now. Yeah. But I was like, why does my dog need to smell another dog's poop? I've never experienced that, but I also haven't had a dog in a very long time. Well, they smell the other dogs pee, the other dogs poop. And I've seen, yeah, that I, but then again, you know what, I've seen, I've actually seen dogs eat their own poop. That is very strange. Yeah, I haven't had a dog in almost 30 years. So I'm not, I'm out on that one. Yeah. And I know cats do not smell each other's rear ends. They don't know. I move that multiple cats at,
you know, many different times over the last 20 something years. I mean, they're playful. They run around, but the, the, the butt sniffing thing, it might happen. It's rare though. It's not a thing. It's always weird too, because if you're, you know, I walk my dog around Bradley Beach, and we see other dogs, and my dog does like to see other dogs. So of course, they sniff their butts, and it's always uncomfortable. Well, the people make it, I'm used to it. And like, that's what dogs do. Right. What someone always said, get out of there. Let's try to pull their dog away. It's a real, you know, when it's awkward, it's awkward. It's awkward if the, if it's a good looking woman walking a dog, and their dog is smelling my dogs butt. But ugly women give no problem. I'm like, yeah, it's what dogs do. Sweetheart. You said you jackass. Yeah. It's really strange. Why do you think over centuries and centuries that cats were basically groomed to do all that business inside in a box and sand? Yeah.
And dogs were not. I don't know. That's a great question, because when dogs go to the bathroom outside, they will try to kick up the dirt to stay covered. A cat will cover. Yeah. Oh, absolutely. Yeah. I don't know. Can you train a dog? You probably could train a dog to do almost anything like that. I would think you could, but you're, yeah, I don't know why that is made that decision. Yeah. I don't know. It's not to be a big decision in the history of our world. There guy, there is a guy in my town who will walk his cat on a leash. Okay. Which is like a harness. Yeah. Right. Cause they could buy a wig a lot of like a collar, but I would think a harness. That's neat. But the cat walks beautifully. Oh, yeah, yeah. And again, okay. So why are our dogs not pooping in the house and covering it in a box and why are people not walking cats? Well, we don't walk our cat. So it's funny. You bring that up because we have had that discussion. We just haven't because of their indoor cats. Well, she's an indoor cat. We don't have we only one now.
She's not knock on wood. She's never and no cat we've ever had has tried to get out. They seem very comfortable in their surroundings. We kind of feel like the moment we take them out like that, like it, like it breaks the dam. And then what is this? You got to be careful then at that moment every time that door opens because they're so fast that they could be looking to the bolt. Yeah. So that's why we never have and I really what's the upside? I mean, you don't want to get me to taste at that outside world. I really don't. Not to that degree if it's going to cause a problem. Yeah. Because if she gets out, she's gone. Oh, yeah. We're not going to get her back. And then, you know, that's going to be a problem. She's the clawed. Yeah. Yeah. Cat's got to have some claws that it's going out. If they're outside, yes. Yeah. But I mean, we've and we've talked about this many times. Don't send me messages. How cruel it is. Right. You know, it's not cruel air conditioning being fed every day, going to see doctors when you're not feeling well as opposed to, hmm, let me see if I can find a dead birdie and escape the raccoon that's trying to hunt me down.
I will say of all of the different advice type things and opinions you've had over the years. In all our years of working together, I think about that one all the time when when I feel like something is like I'm sliding whimsy in some way in that like, oh, and I'm going to leave her in this household day without taking her out or I only got to take her out to pee and poop and then I had to take her back in. She didn't get her walk. Right. Oh, is that bad? Is that me? Being cruel to the animal. Yeah, I always think of you going like no, the dog has a home. It's better than being dead or out in a while. Wims, you could have been destroyed. Yes. If not adopted and instead you opened your home to her and you have taken care of you may drive your nuts, but you give her the medical care. Yeah. She is fed. She's got water. She's hydrated. She's got somewhere warm to sleep in the winter cold to sleep in the summer. She's fine. I kiss her on
the cheek. Yeah. On the top of the head. And I get it. Like I understand. Yes, I do believe in that moment. It's not the greatest thing to do. I'm not stupid or naive to that. But I also can't, we tried with one cat not to it tore everything to shreds. So it was either you either you're going or the claws are going and you know what happens when the claws went. You turn out to have the best life you'll ever have as a pet. I promise you you hit the pet lottery in my house. Yeah. I mean, these cats. Good Lord on the on the bed on the couch. See where everyone did stuff. I've had it. Have a good time. Animals probably there's probably not a moment. There's a lot in between. Like you either have a great life as a pet in that you're indoors. There's a horrible life. A horrible life. Well, I think there are in between because I do think people end up with pets and don't treat them so great. But you are right. The extremes are extreme. The ones that get good owners literally are living in the lap of luxury and the ones that are running and you know, basically
fearing for their lives every day out in the streets. That's horrendous or the ones that are have no homes and they're just waiting to basically be destroyed. Yeah. It's terrible. I know you people go to these either foreign countries or or island resorts, you know, a rubah. Yeah. Puerto Rico. And they'll there's street dogs. Oh, yeah. So many like we don't have that. We have street cats right around various towns, but not street dogs like they have in these other. I know in the Bahamas last year we had a there was a cat that kind of hung out by the guard shed when you first pull up to the resort and every four or five days or five days, five mornings in a row. I walked to Dunkin Donuts at five a.m. right around the corner from the resort and the fifth day it started following me because I saw it every morning and I didn't do anything, but I whatever it sort of followed me the fifth day. Now I don't know what this cat is. It was cute, but and whatever followed me for like, you know, 20 or 30 steps and then went back to the guard shed where the food was because the guard fed it every day. By the way, two of them. But those are
street cats that live outside. Maybe it's sensed you were a cat person. Maybe you have cats. You take care of cats. Yeah, it's possible. There's got to be some sort of cat residue on my sneakers from being in the house. You would think so that's very fine. I didn't think of that. It's pretty possible. Do they say cats have a good sense of smell like dogs do or is it? Oh, so I don't know, but what I will tell you is the cats we've had and the cat we still have, they could be in a dead sleep upstairs on our bed. I could open up a can of tuna downstairs in the kitchen and the first click of the can breaking. You will hear jumping off the bed and within 15 seconds, 10 seconds, they are waiting at your feet for the key for the tuna. I wonder if it's the sound or the no cracking of the can sends the scent of tuna. It's the smell of the tuna because if I crack a can of corn or peas or even spinach and water, nothing. You open up that can of tuna and it's
almost immediate. It's hilarious. Remember in cartoons when something smelled? It would you could see visually see the smell and it would go up the stairs where your cats are. Yeah, it's right under the nose and then they come running down. Yeah. That's true. I always have always wondered that about dogs because they say that dogs have like 10,000 times the smell. It's like if I fart in front of my dog, is it like, oh my god. Because they don't tend to react to people's farts. But you would think they'd be like, good Lord, you know, I've got 10,000 times to smell. Maybe it's a sweet smell to them. Why couldn't it be? Yeah, I don't know. You know what you think is disgusting? They might think is lovely. I told you had dog growing up that would get really annoyed if you sneezed. Really? Oh my gosh, the dog would give you a dirty look and leave. Wow. Go upstairs. That's my mother sometimes used to love to do it just to annoy the dog. She'd be like, what's funny? Watch this, watch this. She'd go, a chew, the dog would just give her
a look like you disgusting human and go upstairs. How are you getting you treat whimsy for that? Yeah, well, I tried that trick with whimsy. She don't care. You're still carrying her up and down the stairs. Yeah, it's actually, believe it or not, very easy now. When I first started that I didn't have the skills. Yeah, you used to it. I got used to, I really, I went on YouTube for proper how to pick up a dog, a heavier dog. Yeah. And that whole because I always heard like, lift with the legs. I'm like, what is that? I don't really don't know what that means. But now that I do it properly, it is no big deal. It is no big deal. Good for you. Yeah, that's, that's, doesn't mean I can't slip one day and we go, don't step. Right, we have to send a wellness check. Yeah, at the apartment, if you don't show up, but it's not, it's an easier scoop up of the dog. All right. There's a new Netflix documentary. You know, they do the series untold. It's mainly sports. I have seen it. Yes. It's mainly sports. Yeah. Well, they have one untold Mr. T. Yeah, and he's not happy about it. Mr. T's not happy about. No, really? He, no, I saw an article about
this because he's in the entire thing as, as now, you know, I mean, like he participated in this. Yeah, I just saw this. Mr., here's the headline. Mr. T is not happy about new Netflix documentary that Chronicles has life. Well, why is he upset? Mr. T is another sad headline, but you get, why Mr. T. Pitties the Fools who didn't let him see his Netflix documentary until it was done. So they must have put something in it that annoyed him and he actually calls it as garbage. Wow. Mr. T. Trash's quote unquote garbage Netflix movie in a furious rant. I will say that it appears that I watched it yesterday. Last night, he is in it today. Yeah. For the entire thing, it seemed like, like if I'm watching that, clearly he was all about this and wanted this out there, right? Right. Out there. So I couldn't imagine what he's up. I could, here's where I could see what he could be upset about. There's in one of his, his agents from
when he became a star. Okay. Is in it. And that guy does say that once Mr. T got very famous. Mr. T was like, people were in there saying that he was a top top five known person in the world. At one point. Yeah. At one point. Like that gets you that because of his look, his name, his watch, crazy, the 18, yeah, wrestling he got involved in all the merchandising. So this guy who was an agent back then for Mr. T in today's world was saying that Mr. T got to the point where he became very difficult to work with. He wouldn't agree to do anything unless you sent a stretch white limousine and if things weren't right, he got very upset and all this stuff. That did not come across great. But you didn't see an example of it other than this guy. It was his word. It was his word. Interesting. But it was really interesting that this guy came out of nowhere, the poor part of
Chicago. And just started being he thought the money is in the city. Let me go work in the city. And he had no education to get a job like, you know, not that he doesn't go work in the office in the city. But he went and started working at bars and clubs to be a bouncer. And then there strangely was a TV show that took bouncer's from bars and put them through sort of like obstacle courses to see how good of a bouncer they were. And it was on TV. Yeah. Sylvester Stallone saw it. And there's an actor Terry Cruz who if he saw, I don't know who this guy is. And then that's how he, that's amazing. And Sylvester Stallone saw him on that and was like, that could be a great villain because of his love. But I don't know if this guy can act. That was really lucky. You know, there's a lot of, and we can sit here and joke about manifesting our lives and all this bull crap. Luck, a lot of it is luck. You know, it's timing.
When you see someone, when they see you, is it the right time, right place? You know, it's just, we've talked about, you know, hell, what were you talking about this morning, which is coming up in a couple of minutes on the warm up show we were talking about, you know, you back in the day, you wanted to go work in the airports as a TSA agent. Which sounds like a really good career path with good benefits and a good retirement. And yet there's reasons why you ended up here. It's just, it's a really, you talk about timing and different paths of life. If I'm this doesn't say the stupidest thing known to man, he plays out his time here instead of at WABC until 2019, think about that 2019 boomeron carton was already over and done with, right? He would have probably retired in 2018 or 2019. And none of this would have happened. Like everything in life is timing and luck. It really is. It's just dumb luck. And there's no, I'm sorry. I don't, I know
what Eddie believes. I don't buy the whole thing that everything's prewritten. You know, I mean, that's the case. If I was a criminal, I just stand in front of the judge and say, I had no choice. This was what you love me to do. No, you let me go. Because this is, you know, it's wild. There's a lot of weirds. I mean, even even Stallone's story is crazy. Oh, yeah. Well, the funny thing about the Stallone stuff that some people know, some people don't know. Like he wrote those movies. Yes. He and would not give them up unless he was in them and had no experience in writing movies or being in movies. Right. And he wrote Rocky. Yeah. On a, with a pen and a paper. He's a paper. It's incredible, actually. Yeah. And then knowing that Rocky's only as good as his enemy. So Apollo Creed, Mr. T, uh, Drogo, Drogo Hulk Hogan. Yep. You know, you had to have a thunder lips. Yeah, you had to have a big, well, that's whole thing too. So he, so Hulk Hogan met Mr. T on the Rocky set. Oh, they were both the same Rocky. And then when WrestleMania was coming,
he wanted Mr. T. How about that? I didn't realize that was the tie-in. Yeah. It's pretty crazy. Mr. T still to this day in this documentary where he's talking in today's world. He's wearing like a American flag. I saw the bandana. The whole thing. Yeah. hoodie, bandana, pants, shoes, socks. It's great. Locked. He's still in character. You know what? Be Mr. T. All these, we always talk about be great at what you're great at. Well, he's Mr. T. Mr. T. You know, you don't need to, you don't need to rewrite your story. Yeah. Good for you. You know, it's so funny. We're sitting here just talking about timing and, you know, getting to where you're at because of circumstance. You realize, so I've been with Compass Media Networks now. This is year 16 for me, I believe. This for Cowboys. Yes. I only got that job because of your date at a boomerah size and event. Really? That you brought. And we were getting a drink at the same time.
And she literally looked at me and said, aren't you a Cowboys fan? I'm like, yes, she goes, you know what? I got something for you. Think about that for a second. That's how I got that job. Had boomerah not invited me to that. That never happens. Right. Had you not invited her to that event, that never happens. It's so weird, man. Yeah. No, it's so funny too. So, yeah, I'm trying to and how I ended up inviting her. I didn't have a girlfriend at the time. We were at a super bowl party. I don't even know what city she was. She was there. I had known her prior, right? But I was hanging out with Carton and his wife. And we were talking about the, the, um, booming celebration, right? And Craig's wife in front of me in front of her said, oh, you have a date for a booming celebration? I go, no, you want to go with them? She goes, yeah, I'll go.
That's it. So then that's how that and that wrote the next chapter of my life. Because I got the job that night talking to her. Damn, I'm a Cowboys fan. I could have had that job. Why didn't you get the job? That's cool. Like there, there's so many little things. It is. I mean, I could go into a whole bunch and the Columbia job, the Rutgers job, why all of it happened. And, and, and none of it comes from, and this is what I always tell students, none of this has come from just sending an Arzame and applying for a job. Yeah, it's crazy. And that's the thing that sucks. Even like, I was just on a Dave Ramsey who he's the money guy on the radio. Yeah, he's got a huge corporation now. It is huge. He's in Nashville. It is a huge day. It do books. They do all a million different things. And even he's on there talking about his own company and he goes, you know, we have job postings on our website. He goes, he's on a resume in there. Skolnundu, giant pile. He goes, yeah, you've got to somehow figure out somebody in our company
to get to. He's like, that's how it happens. It's relationships. It's really, relationships are everything. Yeah, it doesn't seem fair in some ways. I agree. Which is why when you see the postings, a lot of it's all window dressing and bullshit. I mean, legal bull crap. That's what it is. But yeah, it doesn't seem fair. But that's the reality of most situations. I think that's the thing people have to realize that are having a hard time by their constantly applying for jobs and not even getting callbacks. That's on perfect for the job. Yeah. Because somebody already had that job, they put the posting out knowing already that they were going to hire. Yeah, that sucks. It does. It's not fair. Because then it makes you feel like, well, I stink. Like so many times I applied for jobs at serious XM. I was like, that's just perfect for me. And no call. I live here. Not even interesting. Not interesting. Yeah, punk's open air. I know where we are. Channel 94, Jerry. I'm serious. So I am working at serious turns. Well, kind of.
Oh, it's the warm up program, Jerry. All right. Tomorrow. Thursday. Thursday. Okay. We'll have some highlights NFL highlights. Wow. Real NFL highlights. Yes. Damn. How about that? Real quick prediction. Is there a Diana Rousini story that drops before kickoff for the Patriots? I'm going to say yes. And I know that it's going to be about a variable. It might be something about a new job, but she'll be in the news somehow some way by five six. Wow. All right, I'm going forward to that. I know you will. That's a good one. You tell me about it tomorrow. Jerry, warm up next. So beautiful.
