Why Do We Celebrate Easter

3. Connection with His present and future ministry (7:24–10:10): The work of salvation did not end on the cross; Jesus is still alive, interceding for us (8:57) and reigning as head of the Church. Without a living Jesus, we would not have eternal fellowship with Him. In conclusion,

Pastor John emphasizes that the resurrection, along with the death of Jesus, is the most important event in history (10:38), and is the foundation upon which all the believer's hope rests.
