Here's something your body never tells you. Somewhere in your 20s, it quietly starts making less collagen. No memo, no warning. You notice it years later. Fine lines, thinning hair, nails that break, and filling a little less flexible on that morning walk. That's not getting older. That's collagen slipping away. But you can support your body naturally. I'm talking about high quality collagen from native path. It gives your body the building blocks it needs to support smoother looking skin, stronger nails, and shinier hair. And some studies suggest collagen supplements may even help support bone health. This is not about turning back time. It's about feeling your best at any age and glowing like you mean it. Right now, my listeners get native path collagen for a fraction of the retail price, plus free shipping, and a free gift bundle. Go to getnativepath.com slash chem. That's getnativepath.com slash chem. Go now while you're thinking about it. Getnativepath.com slash chem. These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. I bet your inbox is flooded with political emails of all kinds, no matter how often you delete or ask to be removed from the mailing list more arrives. Here's why. I'm Kim Commando for WebRoot. WebRoot Essentials Antivirus protects your devices without slowing you down. Right now, get 62% off at webroot.com slash chem. With fewer than 60 days until the all important midterm elections, and even though we are not electing a president, every seat in the House of Representatives is up for grabs. As is one third of the US Senate, along with 36 state governors, and who knows how many state and local races. This is a big deal and everyone is after your vote. Back to your inbox. The laws that protect you from spam do not protect you from any political email. It's exempt because the people who write the laws also send the political spam. You can try to block the sender, but every day they change the sending address. Your only real option is manually deleting every single morning and every single evening.
Alrighty then, it's now time for my regular chat with the one and only Mark Aram over on 95.5 WSB in Atlanta. We have some great tech insights to cover. Here, take a listen. I think you're gonna like it. There's something about fall that puts me in reset mode, getting organized, tackling projects, and getting back into a regular schedule. And Raycon everyday earbuds classics are part of my daily routine. Whether I'm traveling, walking the dogs, or running errands, my Raycons go everywhere with me. Active noise cancellation tunes out distractions. While awareness mode lets you hear what's happening around you. They sound fantastic. They're comfortable, and they pair with your phone and computer at the same time. Battery life is up to 32 hours, and a quick 10 minute charge gives you 90 minutes of play time. Oh, and the new colors are awesome. My personal pick, Cool Mint. Now here's the kicker. Raycon delivers the same premium audio quality as the big brands, but I'd half the price. That's an eight plus in my book. The everyday earbuds classics are the perfect companion
for your fall reset. Go to buyraycon.com slash Kim to get 20% off. That's buyraycon.com slash Kim. This message is brought to you by Raycon. Kim, come and do a live on the mark here. I'm sure good morning Kim. Good morning to you Mark. I'm scared. Last hour we played a story from ABC News, apparently a fella, a researcher and thropic, the company behind Claude posted on Tuesday night that he quit, and he said that he believes AI could kill us all by the end of the decade. Did you see the story and if so, your reaction? Yeah, I did see the story, and there's a side of me that says, yeah, it could probably happen. And there's the other side of saying, we could probably pull the plug. Hopefully. I mean, you know, AI, we've never seen anything like this. Nope. And it has the power to jump servers. I mean, I'm sure you've heard the story. The guy was talking to his AI and said, listen, I don't need you anymore.
I'm going to shut you down. And he said, yeah, go ahead, try to do that. And then it jumped to another server and then sent him all the evidence that it had of him having an affair and said, if you don't leave me running that I'm going to give out this to your wife. You couldn't ask gracious. So we do need to put some guard rails around it. And but we cannot be too limiting because we know entities like China are far surpassing our AI capabilities right now. Now there is this conspiracy theory and it's really interesting to me that I'm sure you've seen all the videos that are going viral of like robots falling downstairs. Yeah, yeah. You know, kicking somebody and then their foot falling off or whatever it is. Now the conspiracy theory is for those of us that are really into AI and robotics is that China is actually doing this on purpose. To at what end? So that this way we look at robots and AI bots to say like, oh, god, look at them.
They're so cute. They're so adorable. They're so like humanite because they make mistakes too. When in reality, they're putting together this army that will take over. Great. The Clone Wars. Yes. That is scary. I got it relatedly. Have you seen the Undeclared War TV series? No, I have not. All right, put it on your list, Kim. It is. What's it about? It's about it. It's based out of the intelligence agency in the United Kingdom. And it's about cyber warfare with Russia and China and the United Kingdom and the United, it is right up your alley. The Undeclared War, the first season came out in 2022 and then they just dropped a new season in 2026. Oh, wow. Oh, well, well, check it out. Yeah, phenomenal. I think it's right up your alley. Just talking, it's all about cyber security and AI and it's phenomenal. I highly recommend it. What's it on? Hulu, maybe. I've never outlined it. It wasn't Peacock. Peacock, I don't know. You have, you have staff.
You got all of them. You have staff, Kim. Well, you know what? No, no, there's a website called JustWatch. Okay. And if you go to JustWatch.com and you just type in the show that you want and it tells you exactly where it's streaming and where you can get it for free or where you have to pay or whatever it may be. There you go. So I can just look it up there. All right, on a more positive note, can I use AI to refinance my home? Yes, you can. Bank rate actually found 87% of people who took a mortgage paid more than the best rate that they qualified for. And so if you are, now if you are sitting there like I'm like, wonder if I could refi, I wonder if I could get a better lower rate. This is where you want to use your favorite chatbot. And you say you tell it number one, always you have to give it a roll. You are a mortgage analyst. You give it your current loan balance rate, yours left monthly payment, principal interest only, whatever it is. And then say calculate a new monthly payment. Give me my break even month. And on my site, I'm going to give you the whole prompt. So don't worry about writing this down.
But the bottom line is that you want to ask it for a new 30 year quote. And then the last line that you say is always tell me the one question. My lender is hoping that I never think to ask. Oh. And so when you start asking your chatbot, these type of things, that's when you can get some really interesting information. Now the bottom line is your break even is under 24 months and you're staying put, you know, refinance. If it's five years out, you're probably paying closing costs that will make your lender's quarter. So would you let me run your mortgage math for you? Does that feel like something like you really need to talk to a human about? I will first ask my wife, if she declines, then I will go to the AI. Yeah, that's right. You know, my mortgage guy tried to lighten the mood. He said we should keep our conversation on the loan down. Get it? Oh, then you go to AI. Exactly. Kim Commando joining us live in the market. I'm sure I want to ask you a question. This is a selfish question.
I wonder if I'm getting scammed or not or if my dad is out there or something. So I got a text message and it wasn't from like a, you know, full, complete phone number. It was like a five digit number. Okay. And it's like, Hey, Mark Lexi here from Blank Company. I'm following up on your personal loan request for $90,000. Text and to opt out if you no longer need the $90,000 just let me know. Otherwise, do you have a few minutes to talk right now? You can reach us by calling and a local Atlanta number. I never asked for a $90,000 loan. Is this a scam? Is someone using my social security number? Do you have any idea what's going on here? Probably what's happening is that scammers are buying your data from data brokers and that's where they're doing it right now. So they bought your phone number. They got your name. They know where you live. And they're going to now personalize because they can do this now with AI. They can personalize a text or a scam email so that it really, really looks legit.
Now the bottom line here is it is a scam because you didn't ask for any money. But just keep in mind that once you get one of these and if you ever reply, if you do say text and to stop or whatever, then they know that, wow, this is an active one. This is a great guy. He responds. Let's see if we send him something else. And then maybe he's, you know, maybe he'll fall for that. But you have to be like just over careful because they are, like I said, they're personalizing. It used to be like, for example, that a scammer would, it would take them, you know, maybe hours to put something like this together. But now using AI and also on the dark web, they're selling the scam kits. And so if you want to become a scammer is that you can go on the dark web and you can buy a list, you can buy the means to send out the text messages, even up to including an 800 number that will answer as that particular scammer's entity that they're trying to say that you should be falling for. Is there a way I could, so first off, do I just take reports spam and delete?
Yeah, that's the number one. Yeah, that's it. Now there's, it gives a local phone number. Is anyway I can search to see what that number leads back to? Sure, yeah, I mean, you can punch that number into your chat or you can put it into Google to see what it is. And it probably will come back as known spam line. And the bottom line here too is that you could actually just capture the whole text, put that into your favorite chat bot and say, is this a scam? Done, done, done, done. All right, AI is the way of the world, which means the listeners need to sign up for your amazing AI email that drops tomorrow morning. That's correct. And by the way, in fact, this mortgage story is right, the lead story in splash of AI. Almost a million folks get this every Thursday and you want to sign up by going to getkim.com. That's getkim.com. And it's only $99 a month folks. It is free. Oh my gosh, you're killing me, Mark. You're killing me. Just Venmo $99 to Martin. No, I'm just kidding. Kim invaluable resource. Thanks for your time as a whole buddy. You bet you. There you go. All right, yeah. I was like, done and take a $90,000 load application. What the hell? All right, reports spam and delete.
Okay, smarty pants. I know that you need more tips like this because you want to stay ahead of the tech curve. But as they like to say on infomercials, but wait, there's more. This is really fun. You can watch the Kim.com.com show over on my YouTube channel. Just go to youtube.com slash Kim.com. That's youtube.com slash Kim.com. And if you're more into podcasts, well, you can find me everywhere you get your podcasts. Just search for a commando with a K of course. That's K-O-M-A-N-D-O. And if you have any questions for me or if you want to share a story that happened in your life, I'd love that. Just go to commando.com. I know there's so many commandos. K-O-M-A-N-D-O, commando.com. And then there's a big button on the top right. It says ask Kim. I know, funny how some things work in tech. Fill out that form and I read every single note that you sent me.
