Suspenser, why do you care?
I care because my daughter, Adeline, has special needs.
I am motivated by Adeline who inspires me every day.
I am driven to help families like mine navigate the healthcare system.
I'm so blessed to lead an amazing team at United Healthcare,
focusing on the member experience and making that better.
I'm Spencer, and I'm committed to care.
That was a close one.
It's a WIP after the show, and I expect it, Fritz.
It is your 232-buck.
I missed the days where they would just take the bad word and flip it around,
make it backwards, you know.
We are at the Dabora Heart and Lung Center Broadcast booth at Citizens Bank Park here for
Opening Day. There's a funny moment during the opening segment.
We talked briefly about the marching band that came through.
And you know, the guys on the show know that I am not the biggest fan of doing the show,
not in the studio.
I like being in the studio.
I like where my stuff is.
But, you know, I think I've gotten better over the last couple of years.
I've tried to loosen up a little bit when I'm in these spaces.
But just have a good time.
I'm just trying to have a good time.
But when, you know, I'm not a big good time guy.
You know, I'm a show guy.
Not a big, not a good time guy.
But that said, we're sitting there talking, and we're doing the show.
And it really seemed to me like a marching band walking through
was something that would happen in a cartoon.
To make me, to just punish me for not being in the studio,
is I expected the next thing to happen was a guy to walk by with a chainsaw.
Sure.
Yeah, so.
Well, the march man, you know, nice, nice tribute.
1776, we're getting ready for all.
Oh, there we go.
What a great point about them is that they are on a loop.
Yes, so we'll get them several more times.
Yes, hopefully at least one more time.
Yeah, that is, that is the great part about them.
We're on the whole concourse.
Yeah, two on five, five, nine, two,
ninety four, ninety four.
We will take you all the way up until the start of the game.
One, one guy, we, I think we haven't talked about very much at all.
And he probably had next to Schorber, you know,
he definitely had the second best season of any position player is Tray Turner.
I wonder what kind of Tray Turner were going to get this year.
I wonder if last year, I think he did take
man, these people are going to, they are going to live.
They're going to push my good vibe right out the window.
In any case, I think he took the lead off thing seriously.
I was, you know, he mentioned to us when we talked to him
about wanting to hit a few more home runs than he hit last year.
But I do think he made an effort to that that wasn't his goal.
His goal was to get on base.
But I do wonder if between the infield singles and that,
I wonder if last year was a little fluky.
And I'm, I do wonder who the real Tray Turner is,
whether he was the player we got last year,
whether he is the player that they thought he was when they signed him.
Defensively, he's better.
I give him all the credit in the world for that.
I just don't know if he is a leg out the ground balls singles hitter guy
that we got last year.
I don't know how realistic it is to expect that again.
So I just don't know what to expect from Tray this year.
Yeah, I, I don't know because you look on a Cervant page and there's
an even like a good year last year a lot of blue, a lot of blue
prefer a guy who had the year that he had last year, which
what does that mean?
So go ahead.
All right, the baseball Cervant they have like percentiles guys are in.
So they've hard hit percentile and things like that.
And, you know, expect batting average, batting average.
And a lot of red is good.
A lot of red is good.
Light red is in the middle.
And then you start getting to light blue and then blue is bad.
Yeah.
So he did a lot of light blue in the year last year,
which would suggest some some regression.
But he also still was the fastest player in baseball last year at 32 or 31.
So I, I don't know.
I've still still skeptical, I guess, of of how great Tray is.
So we'll say, you guys.
Well, no, I, guys, the guy was the batting champion last year.
I know.
And listen, it may not, it may not look the way people expected to look.
I mean, if he adds another five to eight home runs to his total.
Oh, well, that's enormous.
What do you hit 15 last year?
Something like that.
Yeah, but him 20 home runs is, I mean, what do we do?
I, we used to be in press Bob 35 to 40 home.
Well, but I think the difference is is that he didn't even 15 last year.
Oh, yeah, he didn't even drive the ball that much.
So it, and I wonder my, my question really is he was a batting champion.
I, I, my, my question is, if he hits like he hit last year,
is it more reasonable that he hits 281 than hits like 300?
And if he's hitting 281 with only 15 home runs, then, then what is he?
I just don't know.
I think, I think I would like to see last year was great.
I would like to see something that I feel like is more,
that he can replicate.
You know, like if he does exactly what he did last year,
and the numbers are what they are, then that's great.
I just wonder if he does exactly what he did last year
that the numbers won't be what they were.
And then might have been a little fluke last year.
I just don't want him to think more home run.
And he is.
Why not?
Why not?
You want everybody else to think more home run?
But what made Tracer good last year, I thought,
and you're turning into a bomb thing.
No, it's always a bomb.
No, no, it's the inconsistency or, no, you know what it is.
It's how each individual player gets its own
set of expectations placed on him.
As to what's deemed a respectable season,
something you can appreciate,
or whether or not he feels shorter expectations.
That's the thing that drives me crazy.
And now, you know what?
That includes price, Harper's numbers,
trade turners,
Alec Bones numbers.
Those are the main three guys.
Cause former will accept his strikeouts
as long as he's hitting home runs.
Yeah.
So nobody cares about his batting average for the most part.
So I'm saying that if trade turner
doesn't bat 305 this year,
and he bats 280, 2805,
but he adds five to eight more home runs,
what's wrong with that?
I like that.
My issue with him starting to think more home run
is I think that that's when he starts chasing a little bit more
and he strikes out a little bit for him.
Oh, okay.
Let's see, here's the thing.
I can accept J-Rose striking out because of what he did
from a run producing standpoint at the lead-all position.
He could give you power.
He could hit for that in that position.
He could do that.
So if we want the slap hitter up there,
then we got to be okay with him to lag it out singles.
Well, he should hit more home runs this year
because he didn't hit a home home run until August 18th.
You do that blue area thing in there
and it just irritated me.
Cause it's a bunch of nonsense.
No, it's not.
It's a bunch of nonsense.
It shows how hard he hits the ball.
Oh, that shows how hard he hits the ball.
It matters.
It does, it matters.
Only if it goes out the park or it doesn't go out the barrel
percentage is better because it's single
than he blasted 110 miles per hour when he lagged out.
Let me tell you, a single is a single.
A barrel percentage of 22% sucks.
It sucks.
22nd percent file.
Yeah.
This, this is, yeah.
That means 78% of the base hitters were better than him.
You know what I am?
I'm a high test guy.
Yes, you are.
And here's what I know.
Trey Turner was the second best player on this team.
Are you be the best player on this team last year?
But Schwarber did what he did.
That's what I know.
I saw that, yeah.
I saw that.
I don't care if it's home runs, singles, infield singles
or what have you.
A guy you can rely upon, Trey Turner was that guy
and Trey Turner will be that guy again.
I think Trey Turner has settled in
and he can be comfortable being himself.
And I don't mind him wanting to hit five, eight more home runs.
Come on, man.
I hope he does, but he also hope he hits 300
and doesn't strike out as much.

2-on-5-5-9-2-9-4-94, Mike and Spring, $300 million.
Oh, yeah, $300.
OK, got your Toby.
No, no, no, for the AAV.
I mean, are you kidding me?
Guys, making $25-$27 million a year in baseball today,
that's a joke.
He's making $30 million in baseball.
It's a joke.
It's not a joke.
It is a joke.
It's not a joke.
It's a joke.
Mike and Spring.
Mike's Harper making $27 million.
That's a joke.
Give him a raise.
That's a joke.
How's he going to feed his family?
Wow, me from that standpoint.
OK, Mike and Springfield, you're on WIP.
What's up, Mike?
What's going on, boys?
How are we doing?
Happy opening day.
What's up, Mike?
Happy opening day.
I'm so fired up right now because of one dude.
Obviously, this team is going to be very good.
This team is going to make the playoffs.
But I'm excited about one guy named Adolis Garcia.
There we go.
Hell yeah.
Adolis Garcia, Dinger Maxing, all season long.
My big thing about him is he is a different kind of baseball
player that we've never had or haven't had in a while.
You know, you got guys like Austin Hayes coming on
to the team.
Adolis Garcia is not Austin Hayes.
He brings flair.
He brings power.
He's hit 19 home runs, 25 home runs, 30 home runs,
and a giant Texas ballpark.
Imagine him coming to a place like Philly.
I'm excited.
It was the second worst ballpark last year
for right-handed hitters.
Exactly.
Like that for your eye test, I.
I don't believe any eyes on him last year.
Now, you didn't lay eyes on him in spring,
and you're like, that's a big fella.
Sorry, that's all the photo.
Now, if Jack believes in anything,
it is a $10 million outfielder whose pass is prime.
I'm arguing right about him for opening the home run.
I mean, they could forget the Kepler run of last year.
Yes, of course.
Jack, nothing Jack likes better than an outfielder
who used to be good to the cost.
Well, hold on, in my defense,
Kepler was never actually good.
He was theoretically good.
Well, Whitmerfield was good.
Whitmerfield was a very good player.
He just had to be cooked to be cooked.
Yeah, that was sad.
I mean, I always feel like I used to be
a big Marlon Bird fan in 2014
when he showed up for about half a ball of bird.
Wow, that's a big one.
Wow, you're a big fan, huh?
Well, the thing about Garcia too,
and this is why the floor of him is higher,
is because he's such a good right-fielder.
The upgrade that they're going to have
from a fielding perspective.
Now, I know Cassidy didn't make errors.
Sorry, Mr. and Mrs. Cassidy.
But the upgrade that they're going to have
in the field from Castiano's to Garcia
in right field is going to be huge.
So even if he hits 220 with 18 home runs,
I think they're better off in right field this year
than they were last year.
Not going to be a lot of balls flying past
the right field, there's all the way to the wall.
That's for sure.
No, no, no, probably not.
So you have been 91 wins, Mike?
I'd give him 92.
All right, there you go.
All right, 92.
All right, thank you for the call, Mike.
So people say this show was pretty high on the,
on our prediction.
Well, especially when you raised your number,
because it was the same as Jack.
Yeah, he told me I copied him, right?
Yeah, he saw him for 93.
Oh, I had 93 first.
You probably didn't.
Yeah, that's exactly.
And then you were like, well, I got to go,
hi, I can't go ahead and hide.
Spy keys were taken earlier.
Yeah, you went 97, I tried.
I thought about 98, but I'm like, oh, that's too much.
Yes, especially when you said the punchers chance,
215, 592, 94, 94.
It is funny.
Everyone was like, question the theme of all season
and all projections were at least 90 plus.
Yeah, it rehas been re-ahaced the team.
Jesus, they're going to win 90.
Yeah, they're going to win 90.
All right, listen, listen, listen, lock in.
It's time to talk about national appliance warehouse.
And there's a lot of reasons why you
got to get to national appliance warehouse.
It's time to spring in the savings
at national appliance warehouse.
You've heard, you've heard us talk about this wonderful,
place for a long time now.
Yeah, of course.
And there's a lot of reasons why you have to get your
appliances from national appliance warehouse.
One, you're going to get them in a great price
that is guaranteed by price assured.
The best price.
A piece of technology specific for national
appliance warehouse that instantly updates price
that is all throughout the store.
So you're going to get a great price,
also tax-free teleware, that helps as well.
But don't think because you're going to get a great price
that doesn't mean you're getting great appliances.
They have everything you need for your kitchen,
everything you need for your laundry room.
Hell yeah.
They have grilling, outdoor kitchen appliances,
and mattresses.
You know, I actually might need a washer and dryer.
Yeah, yeah, I might have to head over there.
Get down there, tax-free Delaware.
They'll take care of you at national appliance warehouse.
So you're getting great appliances, great price,
and also an unbelievable customer experience.
They buy by the what if policy?
What if that was my mom, my dad, my son, my brother,
whatever.
That's how Sally treats you at national appliance
warehouse, a five star experience.
So go to their showrooms, tax-free Wilmington,
Middletown, Delaware.
You can learn more at nationalappliancewarehouse.com.
And when you go, make sure you tell them.
Fritz engine.
Is it safe again to tell them Fritz engine?
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
I mean, there's a couple of people walking past here
giving me a little basketball shot.
Yeah.
How are you doing with all that?
I'm having a bar right now.
Yeah.
Yeah, I mean, I really wish I would have won.
It would have, it's really would have helpedikes.
Yeah,ikes predicament right now.
ikes situation.
Yeah, I won.
So that's really, that's what makes me feel the most bad.
Well, I got an email today, and the guy said,
you know how this is ending up, right?
And I said, no, how's it ending up?
And he said, well, I was going to play the camera.
He's going to beat him.
And then the camera's going to be tied with the afternoon show.
I'll have one win and one loss.
And then he's coming for you.
So you better start practicing horseshoes.
And I need, if I play them, I need him
to obliterate Joe so much that I do not
have to compete with Joe in some play.
Joe will not score a point.
Yeah.
At all.
If they do play, you know, I'm not even sure you
might get a shot off.
I would agree with that.
Yeah.
I would agree with that.
I mean, he could just throw the ball up there,
just throw it up.
He's going to go from half-court.
In case anyone was wondering, yes, it's a margin.
I told you I was coming back.
Thank God.
I didn't get one more in him.
Yeah.
We're off at 3.40 something.
Yeah, let's go one more.
No, I'll top this.
They got at least two more.
Oh my god.
It's minimum two points.
Yeah, let's end the afternoon show out.
There'll just be a marching band.
By every 15 minutes.
Hi.
Yeah.
Two we are.
Yeah.
I know.
Two on five, five, nine, two, 94, 94.
Jordan and Princeton.
You're on WIP.
What's up, Jordan?
I am standing at the left field gate.
It is blue skies.
It is 73 degrees, and this is the best day of the year.
And we really need to stop talking about Joe the camera,
because he said, try to argue that this wasn't the best day
of the year.
How in the hell are you not, as a sports fan,
as a Philadelphia?
You're going to say that Philly's opening day
is not the best day of the year.
What did he say was the best day of the year?
I called this morning, the morning show, you know,
I really honestly, I prefer to call the afternoon show.
You guys let me talk.
And you're not a big listener, just a curiosity.
What did he say was the best day of the year then?
He didn't have an answer.
So he just fumbled to be a defender, which is so disappointing.
He's just looking to try and have a contrasting opinion,
which is not a good way to win an argument, especially
if you talk for the first five minutes.
No, you are more concise.
Rea jumped all over him.
She was going to smack him down for having anything bad
to say about baseball opening day.
And Rea's a strong woman.
So I respect that very much.
Yeah.
Well, she's certainly not afraid of the camera.
I can tell you that much.
I mean, why would you be?
He's not an athlete.
Well, yeah, well, you know, they're very
obsessed.
They're very obsessed with the ephemeral show.
Hey, it just, it is a fist bump in.
I'm high five.
And I'm out here in the parking lot.
People might see me right now.
I don't know if they're looking or listening to the WIP.
But what you got?
What you got?
Yeah.
Where are you standing?
Exactly.
Yeah.
I got to, I got to Schmidt, Baroon Jersey on.
OK.
And I'm standing in front of the left field gate.
You know, we've got a 2025 NL East banner up.
You know, they had to make some more space for the banners
a couple of years ago.
So I'm looking at that.
I wish it was a different color.
You know, we saw the wild car banner up there.
So it's better than the light blue for the wild car banner.
Jordan, if somebody finds you, will you give them a hug
and a kiss right now?
If someone finds you, I mean, you would
prefer that I don't touch another man.
But I'm not like that.
I'm a lover.
Not pleasure.
I really enjoy embracing my fellow Philadelphia.
And that's very good.
You go kiss on the cheek.
Nothing wrong with it.
Nothing wrong with it.
You're secure.
Yeah.
It just, yeah, just a good bear hug because we have been
through this like it's a war.
This has been a war of the last couple of years.
I had to watch us losing game seven to the diamond back.
You know, miserable that was.
You know, when we left out the stadium,
no one that it was the last time we were in there,
I started singing high hopes.
And someone says, shut up.
You know, I don't know when you're on the lift.
But like, that's the thing.
You deserve that.
Yeah.
I agree.
I agree with the fan.
You were singing high hopes after they lost.
Game seven.
Oh, my God.
You should have been to the stadium.
You should have been worse than shut up.
Yeah.
I'm in the world of eternal positivity.
That's where I'm trying to live.
And that's what allows me to be a family fan these days.
As we go back, as we literally go backwards in our success
rate, I have to maintain eternal positivity to come here
and enjoy the stadium.
But it is a gorgeous day.
This is nice people.
This is great people.
I'm so happy down here.
By the way, a lot of, you know, very nice bathrooms.
Real nice, clean bathrooms.
That is a guy never taking care of that.
So I know you're not supposed to, but very nice bathrooms
in that life, just, you know, right by the ballpark.
You also broke down the cast and dogs bathroom.
Yes.
Yeah, you're a bad guy.
You know, I had had a big day.
I was out with family all morning.
You like issues?
5 p.m.
No.
Are you a friend?
Two is better.
Are you going one in this?
Yeah, what's going on in these things?
No, no, no.
If it's an issue, it's a two issue.
It's not an issue, right?
A two issue is an issue.
Right.
So to know that every once in a while, you've got to base away from home.
Yeah.
Good to know.
And let me tell you something.
I don't know if you guys have been in this fall.
Citizens Bank Park.
But it's not pretty.
It's pretty ugly, actually.
Sure.
It's not.
It's like Nick Castellano's ugly.
It's like Taiwan Walker's contract ugly.
It's honestly, it might be like Tray Turner's contract ugly.
But that's going to matter.
I know.
On the dining table.
Yeah, actually.
All right.
Jordan.
Yeah.
Get out of here.
Now, I have stopped at the live casino bathrooms.
And I would agree with them.
It was actually a very nice bathroom.
I've been over there.
It was last year.
Can we do it?
Can we do a next question of what's the best local bathroom?
Who's the best local bathroom?
Yeah.
Not worse.
It's not worse.
It's not worse.
Well, yeah, yeah, of course.
That's the last thing.
That's what we're going to get around to.
That is a classy bathroom.
Well, it's a good bathroom for anyone, but like I think me in that people follow you
in there.
Oh, no, they follow.
Oh, yeah.
I definitely get that.
But they want to, I get the arguments in the bathroom while I'm trying to pay.
I don't want to argue, Jalen, while I'm on zip.
I bet you're stalling.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I got other stuff to do.
You get a little stage fright when it's already arguing about Jalen.
I do get a little stage fright.
At the urinal.
I have it.
I have a trick.
When I get stage fright.
Yeah.
I imagine a giant soda, a cup of soda full of ice with condensation on the side being poured
out.
It hits the juices flowing.
I do.
I get a little stage fright when there's a bunch of people in the urinal.
I'm sorry it happened.
It's true.
Yes.
Yeah.
All right.

I'm Brian.
I work at UDOTHealthcare.
So Brian, why do you care?
I care because I don't want to leave anybody behind.
I oversee one of the biggest resource center in United Health Care.
I see people walked in in my office every day, just like my parents.
They have no idea about the health care.
I feel like they are my uncles, aunties.
I treat these people like family.
I'm Brian, and I'm committed to care.
