Wisconsin Badgers Gain Momentum in 2027 Recruiting

On March 12th, the Wisconsin Badgers are building momentum in recruiting for the class of 2027.

Three-star defensive lineman Eli Thornton just named them one of his top five schools alongside Arkansas, Oklahoma State, Kansas State, and Vanderbilt.

Earlier this week, four-star running back to John Talley Rhodes put Wisconsin in his top six, and the Badgers offered a legacy quarterback who recently backed off his commitment to Louisville.

Wisconsin stands six foot three and weighs 315 pounds. He plays at Valley View High School in Jonesboro, Arkansas, where he's the number three player in the state and ranks in the top 100 defensive.

Lyman, nationally. He has business lined up to Alba Vanderbilt, starting with Madison on May 29th.

Right now, Wisconsin's class of 2027 only includes an ed rusher and a safety. With time still on their side, the Badgers faced tough competition, especially from in-state Arkansas,

as they pushed to land more top talents like Thornton.
