Wisconsin Badgers Land Elite Athlete DJ Davis

On April 27th, Wisconsin Badgers just locked in another big get for their 2027 recruiting class.

DJ Davis, a six-foot-two athlete from Middletown, High and Delaware, committed to play safety in Madison.

He's a three-star recruit, ranked number 42 nationally among athletes, and the top number two player in his state.

Coach Jack Cooper led the charge on this one, spotting Davis early as a must-have.

Davis picked the Badgers over heavy hitters like Penn State, West Virginia, and Syracuse.

This comes right on the heels of landing legacy quarterback Jack Sorge earlier this week.

Fans are buzzing because Davis brings elite multi-sport juice.

His track stats pop with a six-foot-four high jump, 22-foot long jump, and speed, like an 11.43

in the 100 meters. On the field, he's a ball-hawk with interceptions and the range to cover the whole

secondary. What stands out is how he fits the big 10 safety mold, long and explosive at 175

pounds, with room to bulk up to 200 plus in. Wisconsin's program, his receiver background means

he gets coverage skills, perfect for slot or deep roles. This marks the Badgers 10th commit,

pushing their class to 11th nationally per 247 sports. With Sorge at QB and Davis locking the

back end, loopfickell squad is stacking athletes early, setting up for a monster official visit season.
