Wisconsin Badgers Pursue Steele Harris

On March 8th, Wisconsin Badger's football is hot on the trail of class of 2027 wide-receiver

Steel Harris, a 6-foot-3-1, 190-pound three-star talent for Montana.

The Badgers see him as a perfect fit to bolster their receiving core, and they're among

the top three teams vying for his commitment.

Harris comes from a football family.

His dad, Andre, got picked in the 1985 NFL Draft by the Pittsburgh Steelers.

His older brother Reed starred as Montana's top player last year, with 39 catches for

673 yards before transferring, from Boston College to Arizona State.

The Badgers desperately need help at wide receiver, after a rough season where no player topped

400 yards, and their top two producers were.

Seniors who have since left the team.

Last year's leading quarterback, Hunter Simmons, only through for 664 yards total.

Harris just wrapped a standout high school year with 42 receptions for 781 yards and

seven touchdowns.

He also rushed 40 times for 460 yards and another score, while shining on defense with

52 tackles, 5 sacks, and deception, and a force fumble.

With a visit set to Cal Arizona State in Wisconsin all in April, the Badgers have a prime

shot to impress this versatile athlete in Landa Kean, peace for their future offense.
