Wisconsin Badgers Pursue Top Kansas Athlete

On April 4th Wisconsin Badgers football is turning heads with their push for four star

athlete Cooper Onmont from Great Bend High in Kansas.

This six foot 185 pound standout ranks as the number two player in his state and number

nine athlete nationally on the rivals.

They'd slot a minute safety and the programs making a strong play to flip him their way.

Earlier this spring, Onmock dropped by for an unofficial visit at the end of March building

some real buzz.

Now he's locked in an official visit from June 11th through 14th, giving the Badgers

prime time to shine.

Fans are hyped about his two way talent after a monster junior year, earning first team

all state and all WAC honors at both safety and wide receiver.

That versatility could be a game changer for Wisconsin's depth chart.

Digging into his stats, he hauled in 52 catches for 755 yards and eight touchdowns on

offense.

Defensively, he posted 56 tackles, two for loss, five picks and two pick sixes, plus

scores on punt and kick returns.

With Penn State lurking in predictions, this visit could swing things.
