Wisconsin Badgers Target In-State Tight End Jake Mau

On March 11th, the Wisconsin Badgers are building on their strong run of landing in-state recruits by targeting class of 2028 tied-end.

This 6-foot-6-225-pound prospect fits right into their focus on homegrown talent for the future.

Right now, the Badgers have no commitments for the class of 2028, but their class of 2027 class looks solid with four.

In-state players are already on board.

One standout is three-star tied-end Cores-Lokin, a 6-foot-5, 220-pounder who committed back on January 10th, 2026.

Fans and analysts see plenty of room for multiple tied-ins like these on the roster.

Last season, senior tied-in Lance Mason led the team in receiving with 30 catches for 390 yards and four touchdowns, showing the position can thrive in Madison.

The staff hopes new transfer quarterback Colton Joseph from Old Dominion will boost production across the offense, giving tied-ins even more chances to Shine.
