Wisconsin Gains Twin Offensive Linemen

On April 1st, twin brothers Reese and Hunter Malinger, massive offensive lineman from Sussex

Hamilton High in Wisconsin, just committed to the Wisconsin Badgers, both stands six

feet six inches tall.

Hunter tips the scales at 290 pounds as a four star recruit while Reese is 285 pounds.

They made the announcement Wednesday evening after picking their in-state team.

They visited Madison again on March 22nd and narrowed their choices down to Kansas

in Wisconsin before going with the Badgers.

As juniors last season, they dominated as tackles for Hamilton, earning spots on the WFCA

All Region team and switching sides and formations to keep.

Defences guessing, one particular, the brothers are thrilled about suiting up together for

their homestay program, calling it a dream come true and a rare chance few twins get.

They feel like Wisconsin is home more than anywhere else, and they're pumped to join

other top local talent on the line.

Coaches like offensive lineman coach Eric Mateos built a strong bond fast with offensive

coordinator Jeff Grimes and head coach Luke Fickle playing big, roles in sealing the

deal.

Other schools including Indiana, Minnesota, Northwestern and Stanford had offered both.

This boost Wisconsin's 2027 recruiting class to seven commits, every single one from inside

the state keeping that Badger pipeline flowing strong.
