You're having a good time, you're out drinking with the boys, now it's time to pay the tab. Well, there are court costs, attorney fees, higher insurance costs, damage to your car, do you why fines? Not to mention the damage to your social life, plan a sober ride or pay the price. Drinking and driving costs more than your drinks, it could cost a life. One more at what'sthedamage.org brought to you by Virginia DMV. Assalamu alaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh. My brothers and sisters, Allah Almighty has given us another day of the month of Ramadan. Usually, in sports, what would happen is, we would go into extra time if we have not yet scored goals. So this is no sport, but this is an opportunity given by Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala for us to score as much as we can against SubhanAllah our own nafs. And at the same time to score as much as we can in terms of ibadah, good deeds, as many good goals as we can.

So Allah gives us an extra day. That is more news of goodness, Alhamdulillah. My brothers and sisters, make use of this beautiful day. Remember Allah, Allah seek much forgiveness of Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala, recite a little bit of the Qur'an, engage in prayer, insala, seek the forgiveness of Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala. O Allah, you are forgiving, you love to forgive, so forgive me. Spend your night in the worship of Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala. And spend the last day in the goodness that Allah has given us in terms of fast and acts of worship that will be multiplied by Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala. Similarly, make it a time to forgive others, to reach out to your relatives, your family members, your community members, the members of the Ummah and even the members of humanity at large with some form of goodness may Allah bless every one of us. Think of those who have passed on, pray for them and think of the day that you are going to pass away. This might be the last Ramadan you will ever see.

So make the most of it by the will of Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala. You will never be let down. At the same time think of those who are unwell, sick and ill, pray for them, say a prayer for them, may Allah give them cure and shifa. I mean, similarly there are many people across the globe struggling in so many different ways, reach out to them with your du'a and if you can with some form of assistance and help. Remember also to give out what is known as Sadaqatul Fitor. Find out about how you can give it, where you can give it and make sure you've given it out today or before the Salah of Eid. Many people will be fulfilling this Salah under restrictions. Some may not even be fulfilling the Salah due to restrictions. Either way, we must make sure that we've given out the charity and remember to declare the greatness of Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala on the day of Eid. My brothers and sisters, I leave you with these good words. May Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala bless you all. Assalamu alaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh.
