About this episode
In this week's episode, I will share with you the idea of 'being your best friend' and accepting the uneasy feeling of boredom, which became a scapegoat of troubles in our lives. Inspired by the discussion with my friend and my Granny, I have been observing the kind of emotional turmoil my mind goes through, whenever my 'need to do something' has to face the challenge of 'doing nothing'. Reflecting on the influence media of all kinds have on our behaviour, considering the impact any screen may have on the quality of our social interactions, and drawing from the experiences from my childhood home, I will invite you to ponder just how much of the media are you using consciously, and how much of it is used as an unconscious distraction 'to quiet down the inner noise', which your thoughts may be causing. A serious episode on a serious topic. I wish to help you realise, that you should become your own best friend, because, after all, you will have to live with that person until the very end…
Of course, we shall dive into the subject and emerge with a little challenge you may want to take up and practice throughout your week!
I wish this helps your self-care and self-love.
All the love, all the power, all of the time…
