Your Own Well? Proverbs 5, OT S1:E402

What does Solomon mean when he encourages his son to, "drink from his own well?" It is a metaphor best understood in a time and place where clean drinking water was a most precious commodity. It is an illustration of wedded love, which properly understood, encourages us towards godliness.
