Hi, this is Lila and today we're going to read another great story in this though it's called
Zipra Kid Dabra. We are finally reading another story it feels like forever and I think it is
actually forever since we did one. It wasn't quite forever but it's been a long time sorry everybody
but we are going to read Zebra Kid Dabra because we had a super lovely message from Ben
and he sent us a super lovely voice message from Amia shall we listen to it? Just we should.
Hi Lila and I this is a Mayonnaise please can you read Zebra Kid Abra? Because I think it's
you'll really like it because it's really funny. Hi I love listening to your stories.
That was a great message wasn't it? Yes. Yes so this book is apparently funny and Amia thinks we're
going to like it shall we see? Yes we should. Hmm what do we say? Do we say what do we say we say
let's read. Let's read Zebra Kid Dabra. What do you think it could be about? You're not sure.
Probably Zebras. I think you are probably right. What do we have on the front page? Zebra.
Zebra. Who is dressed up like a musician? Oh it's by the people that made
yes it is by the people who made oil frog and that I think is where the... And we dog and we
platypus and we dog build platypus. And that's where the groove voice first got used. Do we need to use
the groove voice or a different voice? You think we do. Do you think the Zebra could be in the same
voice as the groove voice? Let's see if it's going to make sense. So we have a Zebra dressed up like a
musician. You said do you mean magician? Magician. Okay he's definitely a magician. One day Zebra
Kid Dabra was polishing his magic wand when some flamingos landed beside him. Okay does he have
the groove voice or do you have a fancy magician's voice? The groove voice. Zebra Kidabra.
He shouted waving his wand and turned them from pink to black and white stripy.
Oh said the flamingos. And their new black and white stripes looked great. How did you do that?
By being the best magician in the world said Zebra Kidabra. That is how.
Can you turn me black and white stripy too? Asked a passing hippo. And me plays. Asked a passing
alligator. I sure can. Said Zebra Kidabra with a wave of his wand. What does he say?
Zebra Kidabra. But how would he say it? Zebra Kidabra. That's really good. I love that. I think you
did the voice better than me. Zebra Kidabra. Okay there's lots of animals. We've got an elephant,
a lion, giraffes. A tortoise. What else can you say? A hippo, a giraffe, an ostrich, a rhino, a parrot,
a snake, two birds and a lion, and a female lion. A gorilla, an elephant.
I think that's all of them. There's a little fox thing. A little fox thing. And a warthog.
Do it to me. Said the elephant. It's not a hippo. I don't think it's a rhino.
No, no, not that. That one. What could that one be? It's a reindeer. A reindeer. Oh it is a reindeer.
Yes, they're all different types of animals. I think they all want to be turned into Zebra stripy
looking animal. What if Zebra wanted to turn into Zebra? I guess he didn't know he was a Zebra
first maybe. What if an ostrich? What if an ostrich? Well maybe Zebra Kidabra could do that too.
What if a lion wanted to become a lion? What if a lion wanted to become a lion? What if a warthog?
Wanted to become a pig. I think a warthog is related to a pig maybe. No, warthog is a pig.
Shall we see what the Zebra Kidabra magician is going to do? Maybe he's going to do. Wait, there's a
groundhog and a warthog. Loads of questions today. The ugly five has a warthog. They do. There's
a warthog in the ugly five book. Do it to me, said an elephant and do it to us, said some lions.
And do it to me, said a giraffe. Do it to all of us, said all the animals and the huge crowd
of birds and animals that had all come to see. So Zebra Kidabra got busy with his wand.
Zebra Kidabra. Zebra Kidabra. I think you need to say a few times.
Zebra Kidabra. So he's turned the elephant, the lion, the snake, the giraffe.
And in no time at all everybody was black and white stripy. All of the animals and the birds
loved their new look. Until it was time to go home. Could you turn us back to normal again, please?
They all asked. Zebra Kidabra lowered his wand and gulped.
Not exactly now. He whispered. Oh, sorry. Not exactly. No. He whispered. No. Said the black and white
stripy animals. No. Said the black and white stripy birds. What do you, what do you mean?
Not exactly no. Zebra Kidabra took his wand behind his back.
Turning things black and white is the only magic trick that I know how to do. He said,
mumbling. The only magic trick that you know, everybody gasped, you said that you were the
best magician in the world. I am the best magician in the world. Said Zebra Kidabra.
At turning things black and white stripy. But I am pink and I'm supposed to be pink.
Said the flamingo. And I am supposed to be blue and green. Squawked a parrot.
And I am not supposed to look like this. I'm supposed to look like a lion, not a zebra.
Said the lion.
Try saying Zebra Kidabra backwards and maybe that would work. Said a black and white stripy
harina. Oh gosh, it's actually written Zebra Kidabra backwards. Abra abra the cababas.
Yeah, well, you did it good. Abra, Abra, Abra, Abra, Abra. Said the Zebra Kidabra.
Try facing backwards and saying Abra Kidabra's said a black and white stripy will the beast.
Maybe that would do the trick. Why don't you try standing on your head,
facing backwards and seeing Abra Kidabra's said a black and white stripy ostrich.
Zebra Kidabra tried these things. He tried everything. But nothing worked.
We want to be pink. Said the flamingos.
I want to be grey. Said the hippo.
I want my red bottom back. Said the mandrel monkey.
We all want our colors back. Said the comedians together.
I'm trying my best. Said Zebra Kidabra. I really am.
Zebra Kidabra waged his wand. He swished his wand. He wiggled his wand.
And he jiggled his wand. But it was no use.
Let me have a girl. Said a flamingo.
Taking the wand from Zebra Kidabra and giving it a really big flap.
All of the animals in the birds looked at each other.
They were not black and white stripy anymore. They were the colors that they were meant to be.
Three cheers for the grey flamingo.
Said Zebra Kidabra.
Maybe not side the animals and the birds.
Oh no, what's happened?
Well, they've all gone back to their colors, but what's happened to their legs?
They all have flamingo legs.
Oh dear, that's why they didn't want. I didn't notice that straight away.
So they've all gone back to their normal colors, but imagine seeing a hippopotamus,
an elephant, an alligator, a frog.
Although a frog has kind of got flamingo legs, but tiny little ones.
Giraffe with flamingo legs. A crocodile's legs.
A crocodile with flamingo legs.
A tortoise with flamingo legs.
That's why they did not want to say three cheers.
Well, the only one that you can't see with flamingo legs is the giraffe.
The giraffe has got flamingo legs. The lion has got flamingo legs.
Oh dear, I liked doing the voice again. I haven't done that voice for a long time.
Thank you, Annie.
I don't like any one left on the moon.
I love that you said it like that.
Wait, do the groove voice, and then say, um, Adela.
Armadillo, see, what was that?
What was that?
We were trying, when we first read.
Was it the French voice?
We were trying to do either a French or a Spanish voice,
and it was going great, and then he just turned into a group.
Because he said, um, Adela.
I think it was French, and then he turned into...
Say French, do French and then say Armadillo.
Armadillo, oh, in a French thing.
Armadillo, yes, see.
That's where it came from.
Shall we say a few quick hello's from the comments?
Yes, we should.
Oh, and also, there was a question that we forgot to ask during our Q&A.
And I'm so, so sorry.
Greta asked us a question.
And, um, I'm sure we forgot to do it.
Let's see.
Oh, no, sorry, it was Francesca.
I'm so sorry, Francesca.
We couldn't keep up with all the questions,
but we would love to answer your question now.
Francesca has asked.
What would Lila like to be when she grows up?
Which I think somebody did ask, but what is the answer today?
That's hard.
Do you know what you could be after today?
No, you could be after today.
What?
What do you spend a lot of time today doing?
You could be a professional Mario Kart driver.
No.
I already could.
Your brother could. He's super good for that game.
What would you like to be when you grew up?
You do, you said a teacher the other day, didn't you?
I said a teacher, but I also want to be a contortionist.
And dancer and other things.
A teacher or a contortionist?
And dancer.
What if you were a teacher who was also a contortionist?
So you could go with a YouTuber.
And a huge, a YouTube contortionist teacher.
So you could be all twisted up in your videos
whilst teaching kids how to do dancing.
And dancing.
That's a good answer.
I thought zebra cadaver was super.
Did you like to read the story?
Yeah.
What do we say to Amia and what do we say to anyone who might have listened?
It looks limiting.
Bye.
Was that a yaw?
You haven't yawned at the end of a story forever.
Yeah, because we haven't done one of that.
We haven't done one forever.
Maybe we should do one again.
So you're definitely yawning and you're fall asleep in no time.
What do we say to anyone who might have listened?
Thanks for listening.
Bye.
