A'Lelia Bundles is an American author, historian, and educator. She is the great-great-granddaughter of Madam C.J. Walker, a pioneering entrepreneur and philanthropist who built a business empire in the early 20th century. Bundles has written extensively on her ancestor's life and legacy, and has worked to preserve the history of African American women's contributions to business and society. She is a professor of English and African American studies at Princeton University. Bundles has received numerous awards for her work, including the National Humanities Medal. She is also a sought-after speaker and lecturer on topics related to African American history and culture.
