Abbas Araghchi

Abbas Araghchi is an Iranian politician and diplomat who has served as the Deputy Foreign Minister for Political Affairs since 2013. He was born in 1954 in Tehran, Iran. Araghchi graduated from the University of Tehran in 1976. He has held various positions in the Iranian government, including Deputy Foreign Minister for Political Affairs. He has been a key figure in Iranian foreign policy, particularly in the Middle East and Europe. Araghchi has been a strong supporter of the Syrian government and has played a key role in the Syrian Civil War.
