Leader of the National Liberation Front
Abdelkader Haddad is an Algerian politician who is the leader of the National Liberation Front (FLN). He was born in 1955 in Algiers, Algeria. Haddad studied economics at the University of Algiers and later became a professor of economics. He entered politics in the 1980s and served as the Minister of Finance and the Minister of Industry. He became the leader of the FLN in 2011 and has since played a key role in Algerian politics. Haddad has been a vocal critic of the government and has advocated for democratic reforms.
