The Munshi
Abdul Karim was a Indian Muslim who served as a tutor and advisor to Queen Victoria. He was born in 1840 in Agra, India and was educated at the University of Aligarh. Karim was appointed as a tutor to Victoria in 1887 and quickly gained her trust and affection. He was known for his intelligence, wit, and kindness, and was a popular figure in the royal court. Karim was also a skilled writer and poet, and wrote several books on Indian history and culture. He died in 1892 at the age of 52.
