Abdulbaset Siedah

Abdulbaset Siedah is a Moroccan Islamic scholar, poet, and writer. He is known for his work on Islamic theology and his advocacy for human rights. Born in 1947 in Casablanca, Morocco, Siedah has written extensively on Islamic philosophy and has been a vocal critic of extremism. He has also been a prominent figure in Moroccan politics, serving as a member of the Moroccan Parliament. Siedah has received numerous awards for his work, including the Prince Claus Award.
