Abu al-Fadl ibn Abbas was a companion of the Islamic prophet Muhammad and a prominent figure in early Islam. He was born in Mecca and was known for his piety and knowledge of the Quran. Ibn Abbas played a significant role in the transmission of the Quran and was one of the most reliable narrators of the Hadith. He was also a skilled poet and was known for his recitation of the Quran. Ibn Abbas died in Medina in 687 CE. He is considered one of the most important companions of the Prophet Muhammad and is revered in Islam.
