Abu Zubaida

Abu Zubaida is a Palestinian man who was detained at Guantanamo Bay after being captured in Pakistan in 2002. He was held at the detention center for nearly eight years before being released in 2006. Zubaida was accused of being a senior member of al-Qaeda and was subjected to enhanced interrogation techniques, including waterboarding. He has since become a prominent figure in the debate over torture and human rights.
