Historic computer scientist and mathematician
Ada Lovelace is widely considered to be the first computer programmer. She was born in 1815 and died in 1852. Ada was the daughter of Lord Byron and was known for her exceptional mathematical abilities. She is best known for her work on Charles Babbage's proposed mechanical general-purpose computer, the Analytical Engine. Ada's notes on the engine include what is considered to be the first computer program. She is a celebrated figure in the history of computer science and is often referred to as the world's first computer programmer.
