Adam McQuaid is a Canadian professional ice hockey defenseman who currently plays for the Colorado Avalanche of the National Hockey League (NHL). He was drafted by the Boston Bruins with the 24th overall pick in the 2008 NHL Entry Draft. McQuaid has also played for the Carolina Hurricanes and has represented Canada in international competitions.
