Industrialist and humanitarian
Adriano Olivetti was an Italian industrialist and humanitarian. He was born in 1901 in Turin, Italy, and studied engineering at the Politecnico di Torino. Olivetti worked for various companies before founding his own textile mill, which became a successful business. He was known for his philanthropic efforts and his commitment to social justice. Olivetti was also a skilled writer and published several books on economics and politics. He died in 1974 at the age of 73.
