Ahdaf Soueif

Ahdaf Soueif is an Egyptian novelist, essayist, and activist. She was born in 1957 in Cairo and has lived in the UK since 1990. Soueif has written several novels and essays on politics, culture, and identity, and has been a vocal critic of human rights abuses in Egypt. She has also been involved in various activist movements, including the Egyptian Revolution.
