Ahmed Kathrada

Ahmed Kathrada was a South African anti-apartheid activist and politician. He spent 26 years in prison for his involvement in the fight against apartheid and later became a key figure in the negotiations that led to the country's first democratic elections. He was a close friend and colleague of Nelson Mandela and served as his political adviser.
