Alan Garber

Alan Garber is the 31st president of Harvard University. He served as the president from 2008 to 2018. Garber is a historian and economist by training. He has written extensively on the history of economics and has taught at Harvard University. Garber has also served on several boards, including the National Academy of Sciences. He is known for his leadership and commitment to academic freedom.
