Alan Hale was an American actor. He is best known for his roles in film and television, including his appearances in the Abbott and Costello comedy series. Hale was born in New York City and began his career in the entertainment industry in the 1920s. He appeared in numerous films and stage shows throughout his career, often playing comedic roles. Hale died in 1976 at the age of 83.
