Alan Simpson

Alan Simpson is an American economist, politician, and author. He served as the 13th Chairman of the U.S. President's Council of Economic Advisers from 2001 to 2003. Simpson was a U.S. Senator from Wyoming from 1995 to 2007. He is the author of several books, including 'The Book of Joe: A Memoir of the Most Unlikely Senator in American History'. Simpson graduated from the University of Wyoming and began his career in politics as a staffer for the U.S. Senate.
