Alberto Fernandez

Alberto Fernandez is an Argentine economist and politician. He served as the Minister of Economy from 2013 to 2015 and as the Minister of Foreign Affairs from 2015 to 2017. Fernandez was elected as the President of Argentina in 2019, defeating Mauricio Macri in the presidential election. He took office on December 10, 2019, and is the first center-left president of Argentina since the 2003 coup.
