Alejandro Monteverde

Alejandro Monteverde is a film director and screenwriter known for his work on independent films. Born in Mexico City, Mexico, he began his career as a screenwriter before transitioning to directing. Monteverde has written and directed several films, including the critically acclaimed 'The Last Days of Harvey Milk'. He is also a frequent collaborator with Harmony Korine, having worked as a screenwriter on several of Korine's films. Monteverde is a graduate of the University of Mexico and has a Master's degree in Film Studies from the University of California, Los Angeles. He currently resides in Los Angeles, California.
