NASA Chief Economist
Alex MacDonald is the Chief Economist at NASA, where he leads the agency's economic analysis and forecasting efforts. He has a Ph.D. in economics from the University of California, Berkeley, and has worked at NASA for over a decade. MacDonald has published numerous papers on the economic impacts of space exploration and has testified before Congress on the agency's budget. He is a fellow of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics and has received several awards for his work on space policy.
