Alex McSween was a lawyer and politician who played a key role in the Lincoln County War. He was a leader of the Regulators, a group of settlers who sought to avenge the death of their friends and family at the hands of the rival James J. Dolan's posse. McSween was known for his bravery and his commitment to justice. He was killed in 1877, but his legacy lives on as a symbol of resistance against tyranny.
