Alexander Rybak is a Norwegian singer and songwriter. He was born on August 5, 1985, in Oslo, Norway. Rybak rose to fame after winning the Eurovision Song Contest 2009 with his song 'Fairytale'. He has since released several successful albums and singles, including the Eurovision Song Contest 2010 winner 'Rise Like a Phoenix'. Rybak is known for his powerful vocals and energetic live performances.
